To start using stickers on WhatsApp for Android, follow these steps:
• Open keyboard in a chat, where users should see a new sticker button at the bottom left.
• A new Stickers tab will open when users click on the sticker button.

• The Stickers tab has a dedicated icon for the recently used stickers, starred, favourites followed by sticker packs that the user has downloaded. Users can mark their favourite stickers by tapping on the star option.

The first step is to obviously download the ‘Sticker maker for WhatsApp’ app, available on Google Play Store. Before you get started, there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, you can create your own sticker pack with up to 30 stickers in one pack. Once the pack is added to WhatsApp, you can not edit or add stickers to it. So, for instance, if you have published a sticker pack with just five stickers in it, you can not add more stickers to the same pack. To do so, you will need to create a new sticker pack and add as a different one on WhatsApp.
• Open the ‘Sticker maker for WhatsApp’ app and click on “Create a new sticker pack” option.
• Enter the sticker pack’s name and author.
• A new page that lets you add up to 30 custom stickers of your own will open. Do note that the icon on top will be the tray icon or the icon which will appear as an identifier for you sticker pack in WhatsApp.

• Now, click on ‘add sticker’ icons to start creating your own, custom stickers from the gallery.
You can create stickers of photos from your phone’s gallery or Drive, Google Photos etc.
• You can crop images to select the portion you want as a sticker. In case you go wrong with cropping somewhere, there is an option to restart the process. Once cropped, it will be added as one of the stickers in your sticker pack.

• Finally, click on ‘Publish Sticker Pack’ option at the bottom right corner and confirm to publish.
• Once users publish sticker pack, it will automatically show up in WhatsApp and your sticker pack in the app will be identified with the tray icon.

WhatsApp could add a search feature for stickers on Android and the feature is currently under development, according to a WABetaInfo report. Sticker search will reportedly let users search for individual stickers packs, similar to how search is available for emojis, GIFs etc.

A new lens icon will be added on the bottom left corner of the stickers tab, clicking on which will open the search bar. Here, users can search for individual sticker packs. The feature will make it easier to search for stickers, especially as WhatsApp intends to add more sticker packs in the coming months.

1. If you have successfully downloaded the latest version of Whatsapp that supports the sticker feature, then please make sure the icon or button which allows us to make or download our own stickers is present.
2. Now, you need to Download “Personal Stickers” App from Google Play Store
3. Tap on “Create new sticker pack”.
4. Enter the name that you want to give to your Custom WhatsApp Stickers along with the name of the author.
5. In order to continue making your own sticker, you have to enter both the name of the sticker pack as well as the name of the author.
6. Both the name of the sticker pack and the author name must comprise of at least 5 characters.

Step 3: Prepare a photo or image which you want to convert into a sticker
- After this, all you need is to select or capture a photo that you want to convert into a Custom WhatsApp Stickers.
- You can select multiple images.
- Select and separate these images into a separate folder or album.
- Make sure the photo or image must be in the “PNG” format as WhatsApp only supports PNG format.
- The app will require a lead image for your sticker pack.
- You can either select images which already exist on your phone or you can capture new images.

Step 4: Remove Background from Images
In case the image that you have does not have a transparent background then you can use the Background eraser app to eliminate the background using the “Background Eraser” tool.

- Select “load photo”.

Step 5: Final adjustments and number of stickers
- Once all the photos are ready and have been converted into PNG format, then you can open the Custom WhatsApp Stickers.
- You will be able to see a list of photos/images that you can add to stickers.
- Select “ADD” the photo/image will be added to the sticker on WhatsApp automatically.
- Create at least three images in png format and transparent background as WhatsApp does not allow sticker packs with less than three images in it.
- Once you are done save the Custom WhatsApp Stickers by tapping on “yes, save sticker” and the sticker will be added to your pack.

Step 6: Explore your new Custom WhatsApp Stickers
- Once you have successfully added your image as a sticker, you can open your WhatsApp and easily use these stickers.
- To use the stickers you can click on: Whatsapp>Chats>Select friend chat/group>tap emoji icon right next to the gif icon.
- The sticker pack created by you can only be used by you but you can easily export them to other devices.
- You can repeat these steps if you want to add more stickers to your collection. You can be creative and make stickers that are more relevant to you as per your likings and interest.
- Once you are finished adding these Custom WhatsApp Stickers to your pack, click on “Publish sticker pack” option at the bottom right corner and confirm to publish the stickers.

How to make your stickers in WhatsApp
I understand that this has nothing to do with objectivity, but my main gripe with WhatsApp has always been that it is not Telegram.
I liked Pavel Durov's messenger too much - with its logic, versatility and an extensive set of functions. Naturally, I was not the only one, so it made no sense to be surprised that many began to switch to Telegram. But the developers of WhatsApp did not want to lose the audience and gradually began to offer users something that was previously unthinkable. So far, the ability of to make your own stickers in WhatsApp is limited only to the desktop version. That is, if you plan to make your dream come true on a smartphone or tablet, then nothing will work. WhatsApp Desktop or WhatsApp Web only. However, there is nothing complicated about this.

How to make stickers in WhatsApp
Since we need the desktop version of WhatsApp to create stickers, being able to connect to it almost without using an iPhone is very useful. I myself use - if I use - only WhatsApp Web, so I will show everything using the example of the browser version of the messenger:
- Go to web.whatsapp.com from a computer;
- Launch WhatsApp on iPhone and open "Settings";
- Next to your profile icon, click on the QR code;

- Select "Scan" and scan the code on a PC;
- Confirm sign in and wait for authorization in WhatsApp.

How to find stickers in whatsapp
Whatsapp on iPhone doesn't know that you just made your own stickers
Even though WhatsApp allows to create stickers, it doesn't let you collect them into a single set (stickerpack). Thus, it is not yet possible to simply take it and send it to someone or combine it for later use. I would like this feature to appear in one of the next updates, because it will be more convenient to use stickers.
Another negative point is that the sticker you send via WhatsApp Web, although it appears in the chat on all your devices, is not saved to the sticker section on the iPhone. I checked, and the list of recently used stickers that I made myself was not there.
Where to communicate if WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram suddenly turn off
What do we have in the bottom line? It is really possible to make your own stickers in WhatsApp . For this, the messenger interface even has a special editor that allows you to send not just some kind of picture, but even give it the appearance and content of a sticker. Another thing is that it is practically quite difficult to use it.
Clearly, the developers of WhatsApp have more work to do to adapt the sticker creation tool and integrate them into the messenger. Because now everything is arranged in such a way that if you send the created sticker to the interlocutor, you will never be able to use it again. And this clearly does not correspond to the concept of the exchange of stickers.

However, users of the application have been waiting for the appearance of stickers for a very, very long time. After sending, stickers will always remain animated (unlike GIFs).
The developers did not indicate the exact date for the appearance of a new feature in WhatsApp, but they provided a video showing how it will look:

How to use stickers?

To download stickers and use them:
- Open a chat.
- Next to the text entry field, click on the icon Smilies > Stickers.
- To add sticker packs, click Add .
- You will see the Stickers popup window. Click the download icon next to the sticker pack you want to download. If prompted, click UPLOAD • {file size}.
- When the sticker pack is loaded, you will see a green checkmark .
- Click Back .
- To send a sticker, select one of the stickers you have uploaded and click on it.
- Please note that the sticker will automatically be sent as soon as you touch it.
Options:
- Click Recent to view your recently sent stickers.
- Tap Favorites to view your favorite stickers.
- To add a sticker to your Favorites, lightly tap a sticker that has been sent to an individual or group chat > ADD TO FAVORITES. You can also click on the Smile icon > Stickers . Find the sticker you want to add to Favorites, press and hold it, then tap ADD.
- To remove a sticker from Favorites, lightly tap a sticker that has been sent to an individual or group chat > REMOVE FAVORITES. You can also click Emoticons > Stickers > Favorites . Find the sticker you want to remove from Favorites, press and hold it, then tap REMOVE.
- To add a sticker to your Favorites, lightly tap a sticker that has been sent to an individual or group chat > ADD TO FAVORITES. You can also click on the Smile icon > Stickers . Find the sticker you want to add to Favorites, press and hold it, then tap ADD.
- If you click on the heart icon , you will see several categories marked with certain emojis. Each category contains related stickers.
- Example: Under the "heart" icon, you will see all the stickers that fall into this category (stickers with hearts).
- If you want to download more stickers, click Add . Scroll to the bottom of the ALL STICKERS screen and tap MORE STICKERS . This action will take you to the Google Play Store, where you can download sticker apps.
- To view all downloaded sticker packs, click ADD > MY STICKERS tab. If you want to delete a specific set of stickers, click Delete > REMOVE. To reorder sticker packs, click and drag the Reorder icon next to a sticker pack.
- If you need to update your sticker packs, click Add when the green dot appears. In the ALL STICKERS tab, click UPDATE next to the sticker pack that needs to be updated. If prompted, press REFRESH • {file size}.
- When the update is complete, you will see a green check mark .
How to make WhatsApp stickers yourself using Sticker Studio
There are many free sticker maker apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store, but we'll stick with Sticker Studio because it came before the rest :) Sticker Studio allows you to turn any pictures or photos into stickers that you can add to your own WhatsApp set. Users can upload up to 10 sticker packs with 30 images each.
In order to make a sticker yourself, you need to select the area of the picture/photo loaded in Sticker Studio (contour). Sitkers can be collected in packs and packs can be easily installed in the messenger by clicking the whatsapp icon in the list of packs.
The app allows you to prepare and store up to 10 packs, each containing up to 30 stickers. Sitkers are ready for use immediately after installation in the messenger.
How to create your own stickers for WhatsApp through your app
You can create your own stickers by publishing your app on app stores such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. Once your app is hosted, users will be able to upload and use your WhatsApp stickers. Stickers for WhatsApp must not break the law!
WhatsApp provides app templates and code for Android and iOS so you can create your own stickers and apps even if you have little experience in designing and coding. For more experienced developers, there is a set of APIs and interfaces supported by WhatsApp.

Note. As per Apple App Store guidelines, when developing a sticker app for iOS, you must create a unique user interface without using our app template interface.
Your stickers must meet the following requirements:
- Each sticker must have a transparent background.
- Stickers must be exactly 512x512 pixels.
- Each sticker must not be larger than 100 KB.
You must also provide an icon to represent your set on the WhatsApp sticker panel. This image must be 96x96 pixels in size and no larger than 50 KB.
In addition to these requirements, we recommend that you consider the following:
- Stickers will display on a variety of backgrounds, including white, black, colored, and patterned. We recommend adding an 8 px wide #FFFFFF stroke around the outer edge of each sticker. See this Photoshop (PSD) file for an example.
- There must be a 16 px wide padding between the sticker and the edge of the 512x512 pixel field.

How to add stickers for WhatsApp from Telegram
First, get the stickers themselves for this:
- Go to Telegram and open the menu.
To do this, click on the icon in the form of three horizontal stripes in the upper left corner. Select Settings, then Chat Settings. Scroll down and click "Stickers and Masks". - Click on the three dots to the right of one of the sticker sets.
From the drop-down menu, select "Copy link". If this is the only group of stickers you want to download to WhatsApp, then proceed to the next section of this instruction.
If you want to send multiple sticker packs, please follow the steps below to save time. Copy the link to each set and save it in your smartphone notes or a text editor such as Google Docs. To do this, enter the split screen mode: Telegram will be open at the top, and notes at the bottom. Thus, you do not have to return to the messenger for each new link and wander through the menu. - Run boot bot
Go to the main Telegram page and enter StickerDownloadBot in the search bar. Click the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen.
The bot will start a dialogue with you, in the first message it will greet you and offer you to select a command to open the menu or help.
Click on the /tep and command highlighted in blue in the message text, or type it in the message text and send it to the bot.
Next, the robot will ask you to select an option - click on the Settings button. Then you will need to select the sticker format - click on the Webp button. After saving your settings, paste the link copied into the notes into the message and send it to the bot. In response, you will receive a message that you will receive your zip file with stickers soon. Wait a couple of seconds and you already have it.
You can also give the bot links to stickers on a computer - through the desktop version of Telegram. But the following steps will have to be completed on an Android device. - Unzip the zip file on your smartphone
Download the archive with stickers sent by the robot. Your device will ask you where to extract the stickers. Select the shared folder of the smartphone's internal storage. - Import Stickers for WhatsApp
To upload pictures to WhatsApp, you will need an application such as Sticker Studio.
Install it on your smartphone from the Google Play store. When you open an app, allow it to access photos, media, and files on your device. How to import stickers can be read above or by clicking here.
