Below is an alternative way to transfer chats from WhatsApp to Telegram. This was the only convenient option before the built-in function appeared in the messenger. But it's still relevant. For example, it can be used to transfer chats to Telegram from other messengers that export dialogs in TXT format.
If you've opened WhatsApp lately, you've probably come across a requirement to accept the new Terms and Privacy Policy. In short: phone number data, transaction details, mobile device information and IP addresses will now be shared with the social network. From February 8, 2021, you either use the messenger according to the new rules, or do not use it at all.
I don't like the way WhatsApp has chosen to process personal data.
Therefore, my choice is not to use WhatsApp anymore. But there are a few chats that I would like to keep. Ideally, transfer to Telegram. But is it possible to do so?

Important: the duration of the import depends on the number of messages.

The main advantage of this method is that you do not need the consent of the interlocutor. You can simply export the chats you need from WhatsApp and drop them into saved messages in Telegram.
