How to delete a Facebook post on your page

There are many reasons why you need to delete posts on your profile, and there are several ways to do it. Facebook provides the ability to delete posts from your page using any PC or mobile device.

On the computer

The removal process is quite simple:

Open the Facebook website through any browser installed on your PC and log in - enter your login and password.
Go to your profile tab. To do this, you need to click on the account photo anywhere - in the menu on the right, in the upper left corner or in the middle.
Scroll down the page a little until the posts appear and select the post you want to delete.
Find the button with three dots at the top of the post and click on it with the left mouse button.
A window will appear showing various items. Click on "Delete Post".
A question about deleting the post should appear in the center of the screen, asking you to confirm the action.
Click on "Delete" - this is the last action after which the post will disappear from the page.
A notification will appear at the bottom of the page on the left that the post has been deleted.

Important! When you delete a post from your page, its content will also disappear for those who reposted this post.

On phone

It is possible to delete a publication from your page using any mobile device, regardless of the operating system.

Algorithm of actions. Log in to your profile through the Facebook mobile app and log in. Click on your avatar with the left mouse button.

Find the post you want to delete and click on the button with three horizontal dots in the right corner.

How to delete all your old entries from the Facebook feed

There are two ways to remove all posts from the feed:

Deleting entries:

Enter your page in the news feed.
Click on the three horizontal dots at the top right of the screen and enter the "Settings and Privacy" section.

Now you need to click on the post filter icon.

And then filter your old posts. For example, it is easiest to do this by date.

After that, you need to delete each post in the standard way.

Important! You cannot delete all old records at the same time - you can only delete them individually.

Closing access to publications is not deletion in the full sense of the word. But this method provides an opportunity to close old posts from all people who view your page. Accordingly, publications will disappear from the news feed of friends or ordinary users.

How to close old posts:

Enter the social network, log in in the standard way and go to your profile. Select the posts you want to hide. You can use the filters from the "Action Log" or scroll manually.
Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner. Please note that posts that are visible to all Facebook users display a globe icon.

In the window that opens, click on "Change Privacy".
