You may have noticed that Facebook automatically translates posts that are in other languages into English. But what if you want to have your entire Facebook in another language?
Maybe English isn't your first language, you've gone abroad on a cultural exchange, or you're studying another language and want to improve your skills.
Whatever the reason, you can translate your Facebook into over 100 available languages, from Spanish to French, Chinese to Russian, or even quirky languages like upside-down English or Pirate English.
It's not entirely clear why you would need these alternative options, but hey, no one's judging.
If you want to change your language, you can do so in two ways — on the Facebook website or on your mobile Facebook app. Here's how it works:

Have you changed Facebook to a language you don't understand? Don't worry, you can translate Facebook back into your native language pretty quickly, even if you don't understand the menus or settings.
One option is to run Facebook through a translator service so that the entire site is translated into English on the fly to make it easier to read. However, it doesn't always work so well, plus it's not forever.
Regardless of language, Facebook will have the same format, so you can navigate as long as you know where the right buttons and menus are.
Below is an example where Facebook is in Brazilian Portuguese.
Go directly to language settings.
Click Edit in the top right corner (this will be in the current language you have set).
Open the drop-down menu and find your language. Press the blue button below the menu to save your changes.

Does Facebook provide a full English messaging interface? This article will show you step by step how to change the language of Facebook Messenger from English to Spanish.
Many social networks have evolved over time, introducing instant messaging services that allow more direct communication between users.
Among them is the social network Facebook, which launched a messaging service called Facebook Chat in its early days in 2008.
This messaging service was later updated as an app, separating it from the main Facebook app and calling it. Facebook Messenger.
This application allows users of the social network to send text and voice messages to each other, as well as set up automatic replies in Facebook Messenger. In addition, it allows you to make individual and group video calls.
Another of its main features is the creation of chat groups for the simultaneous exchange of messages, images or videos with multiple users.
It even allows businesses and users to interact on its platform to track purchases or customer interactions.
All these features have made Facebook Messenger one of the most popular messaging services in the world with over 1.3 billion users.
Here are the steps to set the language for this popular messaging app.
Mobile app facebook messenger is available for download in stores on different platforms like than Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
You can also visit the Facebook Messenger Official Website to download the app and install it on any device of your choice. You can also create your own room to interact with other users via video conferencing.
In some cases, the default language in which an application is displayed is English because that is the default language.
In this case, you will see that buttons and application notifications are displayed in English, but this does not affect the content of messages sent by other users.
The Facebook Messenger app doesn't have a "Language" section in its settings, so you'll have to change it in the Facebook app itself.
To do this, Log in to your account and enter the menu by pressing the button in the upper right corner marked with three lines.
Scroll down to the "Privacy Settings" option and select the "Language" section. Finally, select Spanish and wait a few seconds for the changes to be made.

So downloaded apps are displayed in Spanish by default, if it's available in that language, sign in to this Facebook Messenger.
If your Facebook account interface, and therefore its messaging service, is displayed entirely in English, you need to make a configuration change.
In particular, this happens with accounts created in the early years of Facebook, while the social network was only in English.
To change it, log in to your Facebook account in your favorite browser. Tap the arrow icon next to the help button in the top right corner.
There, select the option Options , in the English settings.
