Today, we’re introducing Live Rooms, giving you the ability to go Live on Instagram with up to three people. Previously, you could go live with only one other person in a stream, but we’re now letting you “double up” on your live broadcast.
;
We hope that doubling up on Live will open up more creative opportunities — start a talk show, host a jam session or co-create with other artists, host more engaging Q&As or tutorials with your following, or just hang out with more of your friends.
Live Rooms also gives creators even more ways to build a business and earn money. We recently announced that Live viewers could purchase badges for their favorite creators to show their love. With Live Rooms, viewers can buy badges for the hosts and use other interactive features like Shopping and Live Fundraisers. We’re also exploring more interactive tools such as offering moderator controls and audio features that will be available in the coming months.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, we’ve seen people on Instagram embrace Live in different ways. In the past year, special moments have happened on Live, including informational talks about science and COVID-19 guidelines, interviews with celebrities and record-breaking rap battles. Creators of all kinds — from fitness instructors to musicians, beauty bloggers, chefs and activists, all relied on Live to create moments and bring people together to reach their communities in creative ways. We can’t wait to see what more creativity comes from this highly-requested update.

To start a Live Room— swipe left and pick the Live camera option. Then, add a title and tap the Rooms icon to add your guests. You’ll see people who have requested to go live with you, and you can also search for a guest to add. When you start a Live Room, you’ll remain at the top of the screen when you add guests. As a broadcaster, you can add up to three guests at once or one by one (for example, you could start with two guests, and add a surprise guest as the third participant later! 🥳) Going live with multiple guests is a great way to increase your reach, as guests’ followers can also be notified.

We want Instagram to be the best place for creators to have meaningful conversations with their audiences and each other, and we designed this new update with safety in mind. People that are blocked by any of the active participants in the Live Room will not be able to join the Live. Guests who have had live access revoked because of violations of our Community Guidelines also won’t be able to join a Live Room. Features that are currently available to Live hosts, such as the ability to report and block comments, and apply comment filters will also be available to hosts of Live Rooms.
This update is another step forward in giving creators more ways to reach and interact with their audiences. Live Rooms will soon be available globally for everyone on Instagram.

Instagram unveiled a major update to its Instagram Live that makes it even easier to collaborate with others. The feature lets you stream with up to three other people in one Live Room — something that used to be impossible on the 'Gram. The best part is, it's super easy to do, even if you've never used Instagram Live before. If you're ready to start streaming with up to three other Instagram users, here's how to use Instagram Live Rooms.
Instagram Live Rooms, which launched on March 1, makes it possible to stream with up to three other people for a total of four participants in one broadcast. Before Live Rooms launched, you could only livestream with one other guest, which meant no more than two people in one Live. Now that it's easier to collaborate, you may want to get started right away.
First, a quick refresher on how to access Instagram Live. To start a Live, you'll need to tap on the plus sign (+) icon in the top-right corner of the home page.
From there, swipe the slider menu bar on the bottom of the screen all the way to the right for the "Live" tab. You can also swipe left from the Home page to access your Stories Camera and then scroll right to the "Live" tab. After you've got those basics down, here's what to do next to take advantage of the new Live Rooms.
It's important to note that you don't need to add every guest you want to be a part of your Live Room at the outset. If you want someone to join you later in the stream, you can invite them whenever you'd like by tapping on the Rooms icon again. You can also choose to invite each guest one by one to add them in at different points of the stream.Once you start a collaborative livestream, both your followers and your co-hosts' followers will receive a notification for the Instagram Live.
With the recently launched Live Rooms, Instagram is excited to see how creative users can get, but four will be the max number of co-hosts for a while as the company doesn't currently have plans to expand, according a Facebook spokesperson.
Now that you know how easy it is to use Instagram Live Rooms and have double the fun than was possible before, start hitting up your friends to see who's down to co-host.

☝ That is, in terms of attracting attention, broadcasts are better than stories.
Live broadcast can be saved to your phone or IGTV (Instagram TV).
As a result, you get additional coverage, increase loyalty and confidence in yourself (if, of course, the broadcasts are interesting), improve your account ranking factors.
1. Clean the camera
2. Prepare the exercises
3. Throw abstracts or questions for discussion if the broadcast is joint
4. Ask those who are nearby not to interfere during the broadcast (children, grandparents , parrots, cats, dogs…)
5. Prepare a glass of water
6. Prepare a watch to keep track of timing
7. Fix the phone

8. Background.
Check the picture before the broadcast.
Turn on the camera and see.
Remove all unnecessary, preferably a solid background.
It will be cool if there are some items in the interior on your theme, for example, a photographer / videographer - cameras, tripods, a magician / wizard - sceptres, magic balls with lightning, etc.
9. Lighting.
Good, even, daylight, or

Start with a joint live broadcast, it's easier if one does not know what to say, the other will help out. Start with someone you know well or want to talk to.
And always on a topic that is close and interesting to you, on which you really want to talk now.
After two or three broadcasts, you will be able to do it easily and freely.
Post and stories with the announcement of the broadcast in 24 hours. Tell us why people will be interested in coming to this broadcast.
Make an announcement an hour before the broadcast.
In announcements, in stories, you can make a timer with a reminder (in creating stories, at the top, 3 on the right is the smiley icon\Countdown).

It is advisable to immediately write a comment with the topic of the broadcast after the start of the broadcast and pin it.
Select a comment to pin by clicking on it and click “ Pin comment ”.
In the comments field, press three dots ( ... )/ turn off comments .
This is to prevent comments from overlapping the bottom of the screen or obscuring one of the speakers when sharing live.
Find a speaker.
It's great if you combine 2 things: the interest of your audience, the expertise of the person you are writing to. It will be strange to see a live broadcast on the repair of gas generators on the needlewoman's blog. Look for similar interests, come up with common ground between three parties: you, the guest speaker and your audience.
Indicate the topic and questions for discussion.
Write briefly about yourself: it is desirable to formulate your positioning and achievements in one sentence.
Usually live broadcasts are offered to those who have about the same subscribers as you, plus or minus 1-3 thousand. If a person has significantly more subscribers, then you better think about giving arguments why this person needs to broadcast with you. Immediately prepare the theme, announcement, banner and possible time intervals, because in this case, you are more interested in this broadcast.
