How to See Who Viewed Your Instagram Profile (2022)

Instagram is one of the most widely used social media platforms these days, with over a billion monthly active users logging on daily to check out images/videos posted by the friends, family or their favorite celebrities. While there is a large population of Instagram users who post stuff on the daily, there are quite a few who just lurk around without posting all that much or use the platform as a means to stalk other users. If you’re an avid Instagrammer with a public profile, it’s quite likely that you’ve wondered ‘Can I see who views my Instagram profile?’ more often than you’d like to admit. So, how does one track who views their Instagram account? Can you keep a tab on your Insta stalker? Lets find out.

How to See Who Views Your Instagram Profile (2022)

Well, to be precise, there isn’t any straightforward way for you to check who views your Instagram page. Instagram doesn’t have an in-built feature to let users check who’s viewed their profile and there’s a very good reason behind that – user privacy. Facebook-owned Instagram has all the data you’d need to check who viewed your profile, but it won’t share it with you because that could lead to a significant drop in user engagement on the platform.

Why, you ask? Well, since a significant number of Instagram users spend their time just checking out other profiles without posting anything on their own profile, if Instagram releases data regarding their activity, there’s a very high chance that they’ll stop using the app as much, which is definitely bad for business. Even though these users don’t engage with other people on Instagram, they still consume the same number of ads as everyone else and if they’re called out for their activity they might stop using the platform altogether.

Using Third-Party Apps to See Who Viewed Your Instagram Profile

So are there any third-party apps you could use to see who viewed your Instagram profile? Yes, there are an absolute ton of apps, both on the App Store and the Play Store, that will have you believe that you can see who views your Instagram account and find your Insta stalkers by giving them access to your Instagram account. But, do they work? Definitely not.

SocialView for Instagram is one of the iPhone apps that claims it can show you who viewed your Instagram profile. However, if you go through the reviews on the app’s page, you will find that it actually doesn’t work.

2. Profile+

Profile+ is another app that says it can show you who views your Instagram profile. However, this app doesn’t work either. In fact, it tries to make you pay to unlock features such as ‘who viewed my Instagram profile’ even though it won’t work. The app simply shows a list of users you have blocked, which is something you can see on the official Instagram app anyway.

3. Follower Analyzer for Instagram

Follower Analyzer is another app that claims it can show you who views your Instagram profile, when in reality it doesn’t do anything of the sort.

These apps just pretend to work and show a list of random Instagram usernames which keep changing every time you open the apps to make users feel that they’re doing something. More importantly, these apps run the risk of being a major privacy threat as they collect all your account data as soon as you log in with your Instagram account and give them access to the data.

What’s more, you can even have your account banned by using such apps, so it’s better to not rely on third party apps to see your Instagram stalkers.

Why Don’t Third Party Apps Work?

The most damning reason behind why these apps don’t work is quite straightforward. Instagram’s data policy clearly states that it only shares a user’s name, Instagram username and bio, profile photo and email address with third-party apps that have not been vetted by the company. Additionally, Instagram’s Graph API, which was introduced earlier this year, is much more restrictive than the older Instagram API platform, which means that apps that haven’t been approved by Instagram to use the API lose the ability to access the API altogether. So, now that third-party apps are out of the question, how can you see who viewed your Instagram profile?

Note: There are a lot of scammers out there who claim that they can tell you who has viewed your Instagram profile in exchange for money, or sometimes by asking for your account credentials. Beware of such fake claims, and don’t pay random people money with the hopes of gaining access to information that Instagram simply doesn’t let anyone see.

Using Instagram Stories/Highlights to See Who Views Your Instagram Profile

Even though Instagram doesn’t give users access to a feature with which they can check who’s visiting their profiles, it does have one that allows users to see who all viewed their Stories and Highlights. The feature can, therefore, be used to check who all have recently visited your profile. In order to make use of this feature to reveal your Insta stalkers all you need to do is tap on the profile picture icons lined up in the bottom left corner of your recent Instagram Stories. This will bring up a list of all the users who’ve checked out your story, including users who don’t follow you.

This feature will also let you block any users who you don’t want to share your Stories with by tapping on the menu button to the right of the user’s name and selecting the ‘Hide Story’ option, so you can easily block any Instagram stalkers you may have.

Since Instagram Stories expire after 24 hours, you’ll have to check the list on a daily basis (in case you upload that often). But if you want to get a long term overview of who’s been visiting your Instagram profile, you can check the same list on your Highlights, which also displays a list of all the users who’ve visited your profile (provided they played the Highlights).

Using Instagram Business Accounts to See Who Views You Instagram Profile

You can also see who viewed your Instagram profile by making use of an Instagram business account. Having an Instagram business account will give you access to important information about who’s been visiting your Instagram page but there’s a catch.

With a business account you’ll be able to access valuable insights about the users visiting your profile, including their location, age range, gender, and the time that they’re online. However, the insights won’t reveal the names of all the individual users who’ve visited your profile.

If that’s the kind of data you’re interested in, you can easily convert your personal Instagram account into a business account. To do so, you’ll have to navigate to the Instagram Settings and tap on the ‘Switch to Business Profile’ option, then connect your Instagram account to a Facebook Page that you administrate.

Instagram will then prompt you to choose which contact information you wish to pull from your Facebook page as Instagram business accounts require users to have at least one contact info. Your new Instagram business account is now good to go. It’s worth noting that Instagram Insights don’t pull historical data and starts collecting data only after the Instagram business account is set up.

How to Make Your Instagram Account Private

Now that we’ve explored all the ways in which you can see who views your Instagram profile, lets talk about how you can prevent someone from viewing your profile. The answer is quite simple. You can prevent unknown users from checking out your Instagram by making your profile private.

To convert your Instagram profile from public to private, you’ll need to navigate to the settings menu in the Instagram app and toggle the ‘Private Account’ option. It’s as easy as that. Do note that switching to a private account won’t have any affect on your existing followers, so you’ll need to weed out unwanted followers or Insta stalkers individually after converting to a private account.

So Can You See Who Views Your Instagram Profile?

So, if you’ve been wondering whether you can see who viewed your Instagram profile, well, you can’t. The only workaround, which involves checking who’s viewed your Instagram Stories and Highlights, isn’t accurate as it only shows all the users who viewed your Stories or Highlights and doesn’t account for all the users who went through the posts on your timeline. Third-party apps, as I’ve already explained, are no good and using them is definitely a waste of your time and money. In case you want more information about the users visiting your profile and can do without getting their names, then you can also convert your personal account to a business account. And finally, if not knowing who’s visiting your Instagram ID bothers you all that much, you can switch to a private account.

Who Viewed My Instagram Profile? Here's the Truth About Those Apps

No one posts to Instagram in a void. Even private accounts want people to look and interact with their perfectly framed and tinted pictures. Unfortunately, not everyone who comes to your page likes or comments on your posts. At some point, everyone wonders “who viewed my Instagram profile,” or even just looked at one photo. The answer can be frustrating: It’s possible to tell when people are looking at your posts, but only on certain kinds of posts.

How to turn your Instagram private

For your standard Instagram posts, you can’t really answer the question “who viewed my Instagram profile or photo?” unless they interact with you. If your account is public, anyone is free to stumble upon or lurk your page whenever they want unless you’ve blocked their account. (Here’s how to tell if someone blocked you on Instagram.) Even in the case of blocked accounts, however, the user can merely log out and view your profile on mobile, or make a new account, to see your content.

If you’re worried about who is looking at your account without permission, the best solution is to make your account private. This will dramatically impact your engagement with other users on the site, and it will make it harder for people to interact with you, but it allows you to place your privacy above all other concerns. To make your Instagram account private, tap on the profile icon in the lower menu of the app. Once you’re on your profile, select the gear icon at the top right of the screen. The gear will bring the Instagram Settings menu.

In the Settings menu, scroll until you see the Account options. Halfway down, you’ll see a button for Private Account. This feature keeps anyone who doesn’t already follow you from being able to see your account and requires you to approve all new follower requests manually. This will answer to at least a small degree, “who viewed my Instagram profile?” — because the answer will lie in your followers list.

If this seems like too drastic a measure, just go ahead and block your enemies one at a time.

How to see who viewed my Instagram Story

In summer 2016, Instagram introduced its Stories feature, allowing users to create Snapchat-like videos that last only for a limited time. The feature is massively popular, and thankfully, Stories also has the best privacy settings of any feature on Instagram.

Instagram Stories automatically follow your account’s privacy settings. If your account is private, your Stories are private. Stories posted on public accounts can be viewed by anyone. However, unlike standard Instagram posts, it becomes much easier for users to answer “who viewed my Instagram profile” — or rather, Instagram Story.

To see who is watching your Instagram Story, go to your profile and select your own Story. While it plays, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. This brings up a page showing who has viewed the videos and pictures in your Instagram story.

The features don’t stop there.

Let’s say that while looking through the list of your Instagram stories, you see someone you don’t want to view your Story. Next to each name on the list of who viewed your Story is a little X. Clicking that X allows you to block that user from watching your Stories, even if they follow you. Blocking someone from your stories won’t block them from your main feed—just your stories.

Checking out who viewed your Story may seem like a half measure, but rest assured that anyone who’s watching all your Stories is probably looking at your account too. Since Instagram won’t let you know exactly who is looking at your content, this method is a solid alternative.

‘Who viewed my Instagram profile’ apps

Any app (and there are a lot) that claims to answer the question “who viewed my Instagram profile or photo?” is not being entirely truthful. Some apps may be able to check who unfollowed you on Instagram since you last logged in, but it’s impossible for an app to track your followers. The Instagram API does not expose or share that kind of information, making it impossible for an app developer to provide that service.

What’s an API? An API, or application programming interface, allows two apps to talk to one another. APIs control what information apps can and cannot access, so just because Instagram can see who is looking at your account, that doesn’t mean it’s empowered its API to share that information with you or another app.

Screenshot via Google Play Store

This information hasn’t stopped plenty of apps in the Android store from claiming they can show you which accounts are all up in your business. But we can’t repeat this enough: Those apps are lying. We can’t tell you what they’ll do, but you’re bound to be disappointed.

So, can I see who viewed my Instagram profile or photos?

There’s nothing that would make us happier than the ability to check who is looking at our account. At least theoretically. Here’s the thing, though: It’s probably good we don’t know. That sort of knowledge would have only one real purpose for most people, and that purpose is stressing you out.

Would it serve your heart well to know that your crush is looking at your page? What if they never looked at your page? Or on the flip side, do you want everyone whose Instagram you lurk on to know when you’re around? There are mechanisms in place to keep people out of your social media if they make you uncomfortable, but beyond our curiosity, there’s no good reason to know who is lurking you. Accept that in a world where we know everything about everyone, we’re lucky to have this one remaining mystery.

Is it possible to see guests on instagram and who visited

Published: Heading: FAQAuthor: instagrammatika

Instagram is a social network used by hundreds of millions of people around the world, and which in a fairly short time has managed to become a powerful platform for promoting yourself and your online business. However, with all this, at the moment it is impossible to find out who visited the page on Instagram using the functionality of the resource, because this option is still not provided. Perhaps in the future it will appear, but under the current conditions, you can try to calculate page guests in other ways.

Do you use Instagram for fun or work?

In the application itself

If you try, you can see those who looked into the account and using Instagram:

  • Open the official application on the phone.
  • Press the heart button in the menu bar at the bottom.
  • View activity data for all subscriptions and subscribers.
  • Select the "Subscriptions" tab and see all updates in the profile.

But, as you might guess, in this way you can see only those guests who have already declared their presence by putting likes under publications or writing comments under them. Although this method is not bad, because from a computer, i.e. in the web version of Instagram, you can’t do this either - you can only like and comment on it yourself. However, with the advent of “Stories” of guests on Instagram, you can see it better - the statistics of such publications that disappear over time always reflect who viewed them, which means they were on the page. Moreover, you can see those who looked, even if they did not mark “History” in any way. You can also use not the most direct and not the most productive, but still giving some kind of transparent way - to make your Instagram profile private. The fact is that with this status, only subscribers will be able to view the publication (and this already closes the issue of random guests), and everyone else will have to apply for this. And by the one from whom these applications will be received, it will be possible to understand who visited the page and wants to continue to do so. That is, it is also a way to weed out unwanted guests.

Through a third-party application

If you want guests to be visible on Instagram on a computer, you can try the Unfollowgram website (there is an option to run it in a mobile browser as well). This is done like this:

  • Enter the name of the site in the search bar and go to this resource.
  • Click on the “Sign in with Instagram” button.
  • Log in to the system by entering the login and password for an existing account.
  • See all the activity of followers on the page - and not only notifications about likes and comments, but also all their visits to the page and views of publications.

On the main page of the Unfollowgram website, you can also see the “Sign in with Twitter” button, which indicates the provision of information about activity in this social network, but such an opportunity has not yet been provided for other resources. As it is not planned by Instagram itself, because the function of viewing “Guests” is not implemented in any of the world-famous social networks. It is convenient for account holders, but it greatly limits the actions of all users who do not want their every step to be displayed on other people's pages. Therefore, Instagram has chosen the path of privacy. It is worth noting that most of the applications that promise to show for free who visited the page, in fact, turn out to be dummies and, no matter how much you install them on your phone, there will be no sense in it. They either show some random set of users, simulating what really works, or simply show all the same likes and comments that each user can see on their own.

How to find out who searched for me on Instagram

instagram* is the trendiest and most vibrant social network among people of all ages. I used to have my page here too. Although I pay more attention to the YouTube channel, since this is my main occupation (recently my video gained 3 million views), but I also used Instagram as an additional promotion.

I'll show you how to recognize guests on Instagram* when you NEED it. After all, you must admit that when there is a guy in mind, you really want to know if he is following your photo story? With a girl as well - what if she likes you and she's crazy about you? Whoever it was - now we will calculate!

Instagram itself, like the brainchild of Facebook*, is not set up in this way. Therefore, let's learn what tricks there are to figure out a person who is intently hanging on your Instagram profile, but who really does not want you to be aware of this. Next, you will learn about the most effective ways to find out who is interested in you on instagram. I also sometimes bother with this, so I will show in detail all the ways to recognize and expose the guests that I personally tried. I can say that everything together works almost 100%.

Link to identify the most curious

Both young people and older people enjoy many hours of scrolling through photo reports of their favorite people. Someone follows the photo-life of their girlfriend, someone is attracted by a popular blogger, someone likes to choose the right look (that is, clothes) while looking through an endless feed, ... Instagram is everywhere.

Every time I have the luck to look into someone else's smartphone on the street, then in most people are sitting on instagram* . And of course, you want to know who looked at your page. Truth?

This method works 100% if set correctly.

For this we need:

  1. Your page in classmates, because so far classmates most effectively reveal guests.
  2. And a link shortener. But none will fit. The most suitable is TinyUrl What is its feature?

The fact is that with the help of this link shortener you can not only link your page to classmates, but also give it an attractive tasty name. For example:

  • Let's take the link of Marina Rio on classmates - it looks like this curve https://ok. ru/profile/575406195778

You can immediately see that this is a page in classmates. I don't want to be seen. I want to make an attractive link out of it. I go to the site TinyUrl

Insert the link in this box:

Enter the link here

And in another field give the link a clickable tail:

Everything, now you need to click on the Link Creation button:

Click here to create a link

Now I will use the link on Instagram:

9000 9000 Reduced references look look so

As you can see, the link has been created and looks attractive. If it was a short two-letter, it would be suspicious, otherwise it's like my photos are additional somewhere else.

The main plus is that this link promises to be eternal!

Therefore, you can safely control who exactly came to your Instagram when the person is displayed as a guest of your classmates.

The same thing can be repeated with the VKontakte link, if one of the people can have a page in VK.

By the way, you can also get to know your guests through contact. To do this, you will need to do some actions on VKontakte.

  • Information about this in the article Guests in VK.

When you set everything up, then you can give a link through the shortener to your VKontakte profile.

How to make a person click on a link created using a shortener? To do this, you need to create a photo on instagram and make a caption for it, in which you indicate something like “continue here” ...

IMPORTANT! Bet on intrigue!

If a person is interested in you, he will definitely want to watch interesting records with you. Think about what is most interesting about you or your content? On that topic and create a link with intrigue.

Hidden features The fact is that by putting a like, a person does not see himself and many people think that they are not visible about their like, that is, who put it.

This happens when a person purely technically has an instagram page in order to put these likes.

Chips in that:

  • The guest, by clicking on the heart itself, will simply like it.
  • Simply hovering over their likes also doesn't show a pop-up window with those who have already liked them.
  • But there is a third, seemingly invisible way to find out who exactly liked it:

You need to click on the offer itself, how many marks “likes” :

My old page on instagram

After clicking on this phrase, an additional window will appear with a full list of people who like it. That's where they all seem to be hidden.

Who likes the photo

In this window, Instagram offers to subscribe to those who like it. And you can also see which of the likes is a subscriber and which is not

Facebook in the topic

It is important to keep in mind that Instagram is a platform where only those who post photos often have accounts. If a person does not do this, then he may not start a page on Instagram, so it is rather difficult to determine exactly who watched you.

If you don't know, instagram is related to Facebook. Namely, it is the property of the owner of FB.

  • And I have just an article about how to find out who watched you on Facebook:
View guests on Instagram via Facebook

Therefore, if a person does not have an Instagram account, but has one on Facebook, then using the attractive link mentioned above, you can find out who viewed your instagram.

What is Stories 9 hiding0015

Not everyone knows that you can watch your guests on Instagram through stories. Perhaps you don't know what it is yet.

Stories are, in simple terms, rubrics. In these headings you can lay out your photos.

Stories in instagram

It is in these stories that the viewers report is visible.

But, as Instagram warns, information about story viewers is only stored for 24 hours:

Who watched stories on instagram can be seen here

Therefore, you need to come every day and be active in order to keep track of everyone!

Free app "Guests on Instagram"

There are different apps to find out who is viewing your Instagram. But all of them are in doubt, since it is difficult to check the reliability of a particular publisher for sure. This is my personal opinion. How to see guests on instagram

But I still decided to check out one, the most popular and mostly free one, which is on Google Play and promises to accurately recognize guests on Instagram. The app is called Follower Analyzer for Instagram. Basically free, but you can buy additional features and ads are shown:

Instagram app

I downloaded the app and logged into it using my own instagram username and password. This application is in the top of all applications that manage guests on instagram. Has 90 thousand reviews!

instagram app

I figured it out and found guests on instagram who visit me but don't like me. Unless, trying to figure it out, ads began annoyingly popping up on the screen of my smartphone.

First, the main page of my old instagram opened in front of me:

Active guests of instagram are visible here

As you can see, on the first tab you can see the overall activity by different parameters.

The fans in this app are those who watch but don't like

I don't actively manage my instagram, so there are not a huge number of likes and followers. However, the overall picture can be seen.

I was immediately attracted to the section Fans . It just shows those who spend the most time on my page. This shows who sticks out on my page the most:

The fan list here shows guests on instagram

This app also shows a list of 100 people who liked me.

Who Likes Instagram

You see, this application shows that 78 likes were given by me to myself, and 13 likes were given to me by Kim Kardashian and 5 likes by Katy Perry.

  • By the way, be sure to look at the tips of the stars on how to make money on Instagram

You can also see which posts get likes over time:

most of all

In general, I realized that I will only see those who have registered on Instagram. But there are those who do not create a special page to view my profile on Instagram. You can browse instagram without registering, though it is limited. After viewing about 50 photos, the following window pops up:

Limit views on instagram

Therefore, in order to accurately identify all guests from all social networks, you still have to use other applications (at your own peril and risk) and play with clickable links.

So what do other users say about this Follower Analyzer for Instagram app? You have to be in the subject, so be sure to read the reviews!

What good things my guests say about the application on Instagram Follower Analyzer for Instagram

In Google Play, I found, as I have already shown above, 90 thousand reviews about this program. But in general, if you don’t find fault with it, you can use it. But again, I don’t know how the owners of such applications behave. Therefore, I would not recommend using the application without regard to security. At any moment, you may be upset by the hacking of your page and the inability to get into it.

Now let's unearth the skeletons of this application.

What are the dissatisfied with the people who rummage in the Follower Analyzer for Instagram app

The first review will be from me, Marina Rio. I usually quickly understand how useful the application is or not. In my opinion, the most important thing gets confused with a bunch of useless tests. The most important thing, after all, is to watch guests on Instagram who come to me and do not subscribe, do not like. And they just stare. Here's the most important thing. And the more accurate this information, the better.

Someone will say, “Why are you grimacing? Do you have something better?”… Well, guys, everything is fine, just my opinion. I have exited this application and deleted. I also changed my username and password, since I have a feeling that in this application (as in general and others) there are no bugs that my data can lose. Even comments in which they write about the constant glitches of this program are enough for me not to be a fan of this and similar services.

What is the MAIN MINUS? If you use a fake instagram page, then no one will go to it anyway. But if you have thousands of subscribers, then I would not risk losing my promoted account.
