  3. You don’t fully trust your kids with their own phone just yet.
  4. You found that your kid has been sending inappropriate texts and pictures and want to prevent that from happening again.

can’t hack Viber, no matter what anyone says

Viber, like all other popular messengers, has been improving its security systems for years now. The protection system it uses is called end-to-end encryption.

Essentially, this means that everything you send and receive (text, pictures, videos) can only be accessed by the participants of that conversation.

If that protection wasn’t there, you could intercept those texts/pictures/whatever before they arrived at their destination. Now, however, you can’t. Unless, of course, you use a spy app. See SPY APP SECTION for more.

Don’t trust any app, online tool, or “hacker for hire” because they are out to scam you

If you search for “Viber hacks” and so forth on Google and YouTube, you will see quite a lot of results.

These tools:

  • DO NOT work.
  • WILL take your money for no reason.
  • WILL spam your email address with viruses and/or other fake “hacking tools”.
  • WILL NOT allow you to “hack” or spy on Viber.

Some will also tell you about methods that are either fake or have been fixed, such as:

  • Getting Viber messages, pictures, and texts from the target phone’s files.
  • Backing up Viber conversations in Google Drive and iCloud and then grabbing the files from there.
  • Using the same Viber account in a different phone.

The first two methods don’t work simply because Viber files are encrypted (which means they are protected and you can’t open them).

And Viber is limited to ONE PHONE ONLY. You CANNOT use the same Viber account in a different phone because it’s connected to the number.
