How to get views on instagram live

How To Get More Views On Instagram Live?

Instagram Live provides you with the ideal platform for real-time interaction with your customers. As a result, you’ll form a relationship with your audience and gain their trust, both of which are essential components of a successful brand.

However, engaging and building a solid relationship with your audience requires time and effort, like any other excellent relationship. Answering a few questions during a live stream isn’t enough. You must pay attention to your audience and provide them with precisely what they desire.

Collaboration with an industry influencer is a better way to raise brand recognition and attract more followers. These are persons who your target audience is familiar with and admires. They give your brand clout and introduce more people to your business when you deal with them.

We did research interviews with more than 1000 people on Instagram and did live sessions regularly. Most of them say that they did buy Instagram live views service to boost their views and following at some point in time.

So, buying live views is not a bad marketing strategy. You can buy Instagram live views to get more Instagram Followers. There are many companies out there that provides Instagram live views service. Make sure you get only real views and not bots. The best way to check is to buy the base package and see the viewers you get. Are they active? Do they like and comment on live sessions? How many follow you and become your permanent followers? These are a few things you should keep in mind when you buy Instagram live views from any company.

You should not just stick to one strategy; you should include other tricks to increase views on Instagram and grow your Instagram followers. These are some additional tips and tricks you can follow to get more views on your Instagram live session:

Plan to go to a Live Event

There’s no better venue than an industry event you or someone else presenting to go live. This is an excellent opportunity to show your fans your brand’s human, fun-loving side. Streaming live during events helps increase that all-important element, helping to develop excitement and anticipation for your next event. This is ideal if you want your followers to attend a future event with you.

Have frequent updates/questions sessions

There’s no better venue than an industry event you or someone else presenting to go live. This is an excellent opportunity to show your fans your brand’s human, fun-loving side. Streaming live during events helps increase that all-important element, helping to develop excitement and anticipation for your next event. This is ideal if you want your followers to attend a future event with you. In addition, this will boost your marketing with Instagram to 10X. Your product/service will become the talk of the town, and your followers will discuss it with their friends and share it with them.

Through Instagram Stickers

There’s no better venue than an industry event you or someone else presenting to go live. This is an excellent opportunity to show your fans your brand’s human, fun-loving side. Streaming live during events helps increase that all-important element, helping to develop excitement and anticipation for your next event. This is ideal if you want your followers to attend a future event with you. The Instagram polls sticker can also be used. Using this interactive sticker to actively persuade your followers to participate in your Instagram Stories is a terrific method to get them to do so. Plus, you’ll be able to show off your results during your Instagram Live. Your followers will be far more likely to engage with your Instagram Stories in the future if they perceive that you appreciate their opinions. You can find great Instagram story ideas online.

Setting a time and day for people to expect you to go live is essential for encouraging people to watch your live streaming. Aside from that, the following strategies can help you increase the likelihood of having an interested audience for your live stream. Allowing your audience to participate in the process adds an interactive element to their interaction with you and encourages them to tune in during the live stream.

These are some of the tactics to gain more views on your Instagram live stream.

Instagram live video session helps you create live broadcasts to millions of worldwide audiences, and you can engage and communicate with your followers.

You can direct conversations with your followers as you will be interacting with them on a live broadcast. You can listen to their questions and answer all their queries. In addition, there is a provision where you can ask your followers to join your live session, share their opinions, and give honest feedback.

These are some of the benefits you can see when you go live on Instagram:

Clear vision of your product and services

You are live among your followers; you need to bring your A-game. Mesmerize them with your vision about your products and services. So, they feel proud when using your products.

Just think about the speech that you want to give in the live session. Then, practice it in front of your friend and take their feedback before going live. Authentic interaction with your followers will give them a sense of belongingness to your brand. This way, you can make a more personal connection with all your followers.

• Invoke the feeling of necessity

Promote your live session before it starts, so more and more people join it.  Have a punch line that can help you create a feeling among followers that it is absolutely to join your live Instagram session. This will help you boost engagement in your live session and get you more followers.

Use Instagram Analytics

You can analyze the performance of your Instagram Live session. For example, you can see the number of people joining the session and improve it in every live session. Also, you can see how many people commented and liked your live video session. In addition, there is Instagram analytics that you can use to have more insights about your activities on Instagram.

Analytics will help you measure your performance, and see who your followers are, so you can start targeting the right people. For example, you can run ads on Instagram by analyzing this metric.

Finally, I will say that these are not the only strategy to increase viewers on the Instagram live session. You can do many more things to increase viewers.

What is Instagram Live?

Instagram Live is a feature that lets you live stream, or broadcast video to your Instagram followers in real-time. Live videos live next to Stories, just above the main Instagram feed.

When you go Live on Instagram, your live feed jumps in front of every Story, which means you can grab your followers’ attention without worrying about being bumped by the algorithm.

How to go live on Instagram in two easy steps

Going live on Instagram is simple.

To start, you need to have an Instagram account (surprise!), and a phone since many of Instagram’s features are only available on mobile.

Then jump into the first step:

Step 1: Tap the plus icon on the top right

From your profile or feed, tap the plus icon on the top right. This will prompt you to choose what type of content you want to create.

Step 2: Tap Go Live

Once you tap Live on the list above, Instagram automatically pulls up the Live option you can see in the screengrab below.

Tap on the recording icon. Instagram will briefly check your phone’s internet connection before starting your broadcast.

Voila! That’s how to go live on Instagram in two steps. See, we told you it was simple.

Pro tip: Your number of viewers shows up at the top of your screen. You will also see all your viewers’ comments as they come in.

Celebrate those flying hearts! That’s your audience showin’ you love.

At the bottom and on the top right of your screen, you’ve got some spicy features you can use to make your livestream even better.

Let’s break ‘em down:

  • Questions. You can collect questions from your audience by posting a question sticker in an Instagram Story before you go live. You can access your viewers’ questions in the stream when you jump on.

  • Send. You can send your live video to a user on Instagram during a broadcast. Notice your mom’s not watching your stream? Send it directly to her!
  • Add a guest. This allows you and another user to share the live video. When you add a guest, you’ll both appear in the video via split-screen.
  • Face filters. Want a new hair color, facial hair, or to look like a puppy? Entertain your followers with filters.
  • Change camera. Switch the camera from selfie mode to regular mode.
  • Share a photo or video. Grab a picture or video from your camera roll and share it with your live audience.
  • Add a comment. Use this field to add a comment to your stream. Or, if your mom did join and is trolling you, you can use it to turn off commenting.

When you’re done filming your Instagram Live video, tap the X icon at the top right-hand corner. Once your video has ended, you’ll be prompted to either view it in your Instagram Live archive or discard it.

Pat yourself on the back. You just finished making your first Instagram Live stream!

How to start a Live Room

In March 2021, Instagram introduced Live Rooms, allowing users to go live with up to three other people. Previously, it was only possible to co-host streams with one other person using the “Add a guest” option. Now, you don’t have to choose a favorite when deciding between co-hosts!

With Live Rooms, users (and brands) can get a bit more creative with their streams. Inviting more speakers can create an engaging experience for your audience, like:

  • live games,
  • creative sessions,
  • influencer Q&As,
  • or dance-offs.

These are just a few ideas that can work well with Live Rooms, but the sky’s the limit (well, actually, four people is the limit. But you get our enthusiasm).

Live Rooms are great for businesses. Whenever you invite a guest to join your live video, their audience has access to it, even users who don’t follow you on Instagram. If you can convince three other people to live stream with you, you’ve got three times the exposure.

Bonus: Download a free checklist that reveals the exact steps a fitness influencer used to grow from 0 to 600,000+ followers on Instagram with no budget and no expensive gear.

How to start a Live Room:

1. Follow the same steps you would take to set up a regular live stream.

2. Once you’re live, your requests to join others’ Rooms appear in the video icon. You can start your own Room by tapping the Rooms icon beside the live request button:

3. Type in the name of your guests, hit Invite, and you’re ready to go!

You can add all three of your guests all at once when setting up the stream or one by one as your stream progresses.

3 tips for using Instagram Live

Set a S.M.A.R.T. goal

Do you set goals when you’re planning out your content? Your audience will notice when you do. A plan makes your Instagram Live go from zero to hero.

To get there, you need to set a S.M.A.R.T. goal — meaning it’s specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-based.

  • Specific. Your goal needs to be focused. For example, a bad goal would be “I want to make a fun Instagram Live video.” Okay, but what does “fun” mean? This goal is vague and subjective, making it difficult to measure.Instead, try, “This Instagram Live aims to increase the engagement rate by 25% more than our last stream.” Boom. Specific, quantifiable, and measurable. (By the way, here’s how you can measure your engagement in a couple of different ways. Or, use our calculator specifically for engagement rates.)
  • Measurable. How will you know if you’ve achieved your goal? Make sure you can actually measure your metrics (see above!).
  • Attainable. Don’t shoot for the stars and miss the moon! Make sure your goal is within your reach. Otherwise, you’re setting yourself up for failure. For example, “I want to have the most followers on Instagram” won’t be possible (unless you’re Cristiano Ronaldo), but “I want 1,000 followers on Instagram” is attainable.
  • Relevant. Ask yourself, does this goal matter to you and your company right now? Does it tie into your overall business objectives?
  • Timely. Deadlines help you focus and drive you to pursue your goal. For example, “I want to host three Instagram Live streams with guests by Q4” is essentially a ‘did it or didn’t’ goal. If you say, “I want to continue to host new guests on Instagram Live,” you’ll never be able to cross it off your to-do list.

Create a plan

After you’ve thought of a S.M.A.R.T. goal, it’s time to make a blueprint to get there.

Map out an outline of how your video will go. Then, jot down the points you want to cover with a rough time estimate. Structure will keep you on track, and viewers will appreciate the clarity.

Engage your viewers

Instagram Live is social media marketers’ secret power to engage an audience.

This tool gives you the ability to chat with your audience live. Shout out your followers by name as they join your stream. You can reply to comments and questions in real-time.

You can even use their commentary to inspire content for your next stream. Are people asking or commenting on similar themes? Take the popular comments and use it for new content!

Instagram Live stream ideas for business

You’re all set to host your own Instagram Live broadcast. Now, all you need are some ideas. Luckily for you, we’ve put together seven Instagram Live stream ideas for your business.

1. Influencer collaborations

Influencer marketing is all about engaging with your fans so you can share insights on the brands they love or topics they’re interested in. If you choose an influencer that aligns with your brand, you can introduce their audience to what you offer.

Instagram Live is a perfect platform for these collaborations. With the Add a guest and Live Room features, you can bring influencers on for interviews, Q&A sessions with your viewers, or a friendly chat.

If you’re planning to feature more than one influencer in your broadcast, use the Live Rooms feature. You will be able to invite up to three influencers to share the screen with you.

For more, check out our article on how to work with social media influencers.

2. Go live at an event

Stream your industry events, ceremonies, or conferences you’re attending. People love getting an inside look at industry parties from someone in the inner circle.

If you’re planning on streaming your next event, then use FOMO. Fear of missing out can be a powerful tool. People will want to watch and keep up with what’s going on in real-time so as not to miss any exciting moments. Hype up your Live stream event beforehand!

And be sure to post a recap video after the fact. You can download your Live stream, edit it as you like, then repost it to your feed.

Recently, Carrie Underwood performed at the CMT awards. She’s posted a recap of her high-flying performance for fans who might have missed it live.

3. Host a tutorial, workshop, or class

Engage your followers with interactive content. Teach a workshop or class, or host a tutorial on content you’re associated with. Your audience will have the chance to ask you questions about what you do, what you offer, or what you’re selling.

Don’t be afraid if you think you don’t have any worldly knowledge to impart to your followers. You can teach your audience literally anything, so long as it’s entertaining.

For example, rapper Saweetie went Live to show her followers how to properly eat the Saweetie meal from McDonald’s. She said, “cause y’all are doin’ it wrong.” She then proceeded to make Nuggachoes, a dish that looks like fries and chicken nuggets covered in sauce.

Honestly, it looks like a solid late-night meal — and we wouldn’t have known it existed without Instagram Live.

4. Q&As

Engage your audience and make them feel heard with a Live Q&A.

Simply hop onto Instagram Live and solicit questions from your audience. If you’re not getting a lot of questions, ask your audience to post some. If you’re feeling brave, turn it into an AMA (Ask Me Anything).

Halle Bailey hosted an Instagram Live Q&A while in Atlanta, Georgia, to film The Color Purple musical movie.

Be sure to announce that you’re holding a Q&A for your followers before you go live. It can be as simple as a quick Story, or you can build anticipation for a couple of days in advance.

Read this article for more information on becoming a Story pro.

5. Product unboxing

If you’re launching a new product, host a Live product unboxing and show your followers what they’re getting.

People trust brands on Instagram. Studies show that “people use [Instagram] to discover what’s trending, research products before buying and decide whether or not to make a purchase.” So, use your Live stream to your advantage, and show off your products while answering real-time questions.

6. Talk to a happy customer

You don’t need to talk to an industry thought leader or influencer to help boost your brand. Chatting with customers about how much they love your products or services is an effective way to engage your audience. Plus, it’s much less expensive than hiring influencers.

And since Instagram gives you the option to save the video after you’re done, you can keep it on your Instagram profile as a video testimonial. Double win!

7. Review

Give your instant reaction to events, news, products, or anything related to your industry. If your audience finds it entertaining or interesting, it’s fair game.

For example, if you watched a talk given by a thought leader in your field, you can go on Instagram Live afterward and share your thoughts.

You can also review different products and services related to your business. Use a new laptop for your business? Or maybe you’ve been trying out a new camera? Review of all those products live.

Live broadcast has existed on Instagram for a relatively long time and is very popular among users. What is the reason? The fact is that Instagram forms the feed based not on chronological order, but on the degree of engagement of subscribers. Live broadcasts are visible to everyone, they make people communicate - that's why they often come first.

How live broadcast works

There is no separate button for going live on Instagram, it is included in the Stories function. Therefore, in order to start broadcasting, you need to do the same as when recording a story.

  1. Tap the profile picture in the top left corner of the home page, or swipe to open the camera tab.
  2. By default, it is in the "Normal mode" - you can see it at the bottom of the screen. To switch to live broadcast, swipe right to the "Live" tab.
start Live on Instagram

Then you need to configure the settings. To do this, it is worth knowing the main elements that are on the page:

  • The switch between cameras gives you a choice between the back and front. Choose the one you need right now.
  • Clicking on the gear icon will open the settings. Work with them before launching.

When you're done, touch "On Air". The broadcast will start. Subscribers will receive a notification about it, and your avatar with the inscription "Live" will appear in their feeds.

It is important to interact with people while on the air. As soon as the first viewers join you, new elements appear on the screen.

  • The watch count is displayed in the upper right corner and looks like an eye icon. It shows how many people are watching you right now.
  • Viewer comments are published in real time. To do this, use the box at the bottom of the screen.
  • The viewers themselves while watching the broadcast have the opportunity to click on the heart. If they do, then you see an animation of hearts popping up.
  • Statistics tools will show how subscribers liked your broadcast.

The host communicates with viewers via video, but you can leave an important comment and pin it. So your words will be seen by everyone who views the broadcast. This is very useful if you want to immediately highlight a topic or an important point. To pin a comment, first write it, send it, and then click on the text. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen where you need to select "Pin comment".

Live broadcast can last an hour. If you plan to really use all this time, then it's better to take a tripod or lean your phone against something. Otherwise, the picture will shake a lot and lose a lot of quality. However, keep in mind that few people will agree to actually watch the broadcast for an hour. Usually, this requires a topic that is very interesting to subscribers. Usually broadcasts last twenty minutes to half an hour.

Say goodbye to the audience and click on the "Finish" button in the upper right corner.

Live broadcast ended.

The video will stop. After that, you can save the broadcast or share it.

How to watch live broadcast

You can watch live broadcast both from your phone and from your computer.

You can watch Instagram live from your computer using the Instagram app for Windows.

By the way, you can also broadcast using a computer and laptop. To do this, you need a working webcam and microphone.

It is much more convenient to watch from the phone. You will receive a notification about the start of the live broadcast, besides, it can be found in the Stories feed. Broadcasts are marked with the inscription "Live". Also, if a person is on the air right now, then on his page there will be information about this.

Watching live TV from a phone is much more convenient than from a PC.

Live viewers are not limited to just watching. You can write a comment. To do this, click on the strip with the corresponding word. A keyboard will open where you can type text. He will go to the general chat.

If the broadcast is interesting, but the chat is distracting, then you can hide it. Just click on the screen itself. The next time you tap, the chat will return. By the way, this method also works if you are the broadcaster.

In addition to the commentary, the broadcast can be supported with hearts. To do this, just click on the heart in the lower right corner. Delight the presenter with beautiful animation!

How to download the live broadcast

You can download the broadcast you like. Of course, only if the presenter did not delete the entry. Unfortunately, Instagram does not provide the ability to download photos or videos. But it can be done with third party apps.

In the second case, you yourself join the broadcast. Open the live stream you want to join and start watching it. Click on the button "Request" and "Submit Request".

Tips for broadcasting live

At first glance, it may seem that broadcasting is easy. There are no secrets or rules, useful techniques. You can simply turn on the camera anytime, anywhere and start shooting. This is not true.

Preparing for live broadcast

Yes, you will get a live broadcast. Perhaps someone will even look at it. But will people come next time? This is not so scary on a personal page, where broadcasts are often used for entertainment. But on a business profile, such a technique can lead to serious reputational or financial losses.

So how to make a broadcast so that it turns out good, and the audience watches the next one? This requires preparation. Let's conditionally divide it into three stages: before the broadcast, during and after.

Before the broadcast

First of all, it is important to decide what exactly you will talk about. It is impossible to go on the air without a clear understanding. No, improvisation does not work here. Unless, of course, you are a popular media personality that people are willing to watch for hours. Otherwise, make a plan.

The plan should be as detailed as possible, covering all key points. It is best to write not only the main theses, but also the text itself. Of course, you will not be reading from a piece of paper during the broadcast, but many phrases will still remain in your memory. Even if you say them in other words, you will not forget anything important.

Don't forget to include calls to action in your text. Ask viewers to subscribe, go to the site, leave a comment, come to the event. Moreover, you should not just say it. Make it so that the audience themselves want it, and the last phrase finally convinced. Yes, it's difficult, but necessary.

When composing a speech, do not forget to look in dictionaries. Check the stress, make sure there are no speech errors. It will not be superfluous to check the meaning of some words. You will be surprised: some words mean something completely different from what is commonly believed. There should be no mistakes in your speech, because you go out with it to the public.

Select the time. First of all, it should be convenient for you. A greater number of broadcast views are gained already during the recording. But keep in mind that according to statistics, there are more viewers on weekdays.

Tidy up yourself and the room you'll be filming in

Don't leave your hair and makeup to the last minute. This is especially critical if you announced the broadcast and warned subscribers that you will be released at a certain time. Nobody likes unpunctual people. In addition, if you are confident in your appearance in advance, you will not be distracted by thoughts about it.

Remove all unnecessary objects from the frame. Flowers, a cup of coffee or a favorite book can be left. Heaps of papers, an open closet with clothes - no.

The location for filming should match your image and the purpose of the broadcast

The same open closet with clothes will be appropriate if you plan to sort out your wardrobe.

It is better to choose a neutral background for filming. He should not distract and draw attention to himself. Also, do not sit close to the wall: leave a small free space behind you. The room itself should be quiet, without extraneous noise. They will distract both you and the audience.

Warm up your speech right before going on air

Warm up your diction using popular exercises. For example, you can repeat the entire text with a wine cork in your teeth. There is nothing to be ashamed of - many famous presenters do just that.

We must not forget about the technical aspects. Check the quality of the Internet, clean the camera, install the light. Record a test video on your phone and rate it. If something is wrong, fix it immediately. It will be very disappointing to start the broadcast and find out that the microphone is not working.

It is best to announce the broadcast a few days before it. This way, subscribers can prepare questions and get together at the right time, and you will feel more relaxed with a clear schedule. When announcing, in addition to the date and time, be sure to indicate the subject. Viewers should know what awaits them: a trip to a museum, a presentation of a new product, or answers to questions.

During the broadcast

Most importantly, remember that you are a human being. You pause, you can make mistakes, and absolutely should not please absolutely everyone.

Worrying is normal

Everyone worries, even professionals. They just learned to hide it. It is best to imagine a colleague or friend in front of you with whom you could talk. Just start, and then the fear itself will turn into pleasure.

People who are often agitated begin to chatter. This is what gives them away. Practice speaking slowly and fluently beforehand. Before the broadcast itself, you can try to talk, as if on a slow motion film. If you find yourself talking too fast again, stop yourself. Otherwise, you will not only betray your excitement. The speech will simply be incomprehensible to most viewers.

It is also best to speak in short sentences. No need to use complex terms, even if you are leading an expert discussion. Learn to speak simply about complex things. It's not easy to do this right off the bat. Therefore, you need a pre-prepared plan.

Always remember the purpose of the speech!

Do you want to attract an audience, entertain it, tell about a new product or service? Keep this in mind and don't go astray.

Follow the comments. Sometimes not only your subscribers are connected to the air. And they can noticeably spoil the performance with their statements. To prevent this, it is convenient to use moderation. Set the settings to invalid words. Now comments with them will be automatically deleted.

It is very useful to click on the eye icon in the upper left corner. It will show who is watching you. If you make frequent broadcasts, then do not forget to thank your regular viewers.

Remind the audience from time to time why they came in the first place. Are you talking about a new movie? Are you giving a master class? Are you on air with an expert? Repeat this periodically. This tactic will help keep the already recruited audience to the end and introduce new viewers to the topic.

If appropriate, change cameras. Viewers can quickly get bored of looking only at your face. Of course, take care of the interior around in advance. Everything should be beautiful!

There are a lot of comments during broadcasts. Sometimes they distract from the main topic, make you repeat what has already been said. In this case, you can send the audience to direct. Promise to be sure to answer everyone immediately after the end of the broadcast.

After the broadcast

Yes, it's not enough just to end the broadcast and never return to it. After the broadcast, too, there is a lot to do.

Be sure to save the broadcasts

Subscribers who did not have time to watch it will be able to take a look. And you - to look at it several times, highlight the good and not so good moments, work on the mistakes. Even if it hurts you to see such footage, watch it anyway. This is an invaluable experience. You will definitely not make those mistakes that you had to blush over.

Then capture the statistics. Find out how many people watched, for how long, how they interacted. Useful if you have several live broadcasts on different topics. Thus, it will be possible to find out which audience likes the most. Don't forget to take a screenshot for further analysis and comparison!

Take stock on your Instagram. Just like you did with the announcement, post the results. Thanks to everyone who came and asked questions. Briefly describe what you had time to discuss or do. And intrigue subscribers with the topic of the next broadcast!
