Actor model

The actor model is a mathematical model of concurrent computation and is at the heart of TON smart contracts. In it, each smart contract can receive one message, change its own state or send one or several messages per unit time. As a result, the entire blockchain, as well as a given contract, can scale up to host an unlimited amount of users and transactions.

How to create a Telegram channel and set up posting - Social networks on vc.ru

Hello everyone! My name is Aleksey. Until recently, he was mainly engaged in SMM, targeting, that's all. But life makes its own adjustments.

Roskomnadzor March 14 will restrict access to the social network in the country. In this connection, I, like many colleagues, began to look for a site where to move. One of them is Telegram.

137 152 views

For those new to Telegram, creating a channel, connecting comments and setting up a bot for posting can be difficult. This article gives step by step instructions on how to quickly set everything up.

What is a Telegram channel

Telegram channel is a blog where only administrators publish posts. The rest of the users who subscribe to the channel read articles, put reactions and leave comments.

Channels are open and closed. An open Telegram channel has a public address, its materials are available to any user.

An example of an open channel: https://t.me/durov_russia

You can get into a private channel only if you know the secret invitation link. After clicking on such a link, the user has the opportunity to familiarize himself with the materials of the channel, after which he must subscribe or access to the channel will be closed.

If the information on the channel is private, and post preview is not desirable, a special type of invitation links is provided - by request. In this case, the user will see the content only after the approval of his subscription by the channel administrator.

Demand Invite Links open up a monetization opportunity where subscribers are charged a monthly fee to access channel content. You can set up a paid subscription or receive donations through the @donate service.

So, when we figured out what Telegram channels are, it's time to create your first channel, set up comments and connect a posting bot.

We will use the macOS version of Telegram for this demonstration.

Creating a Telegram channel

1. Click on the button to the right of the search bar and select "Create channel" in the menu.

2. A form opens in which you need to specify the name, description of the channel and upload an avatar. After filling in the information in the upper right corner, click "Next".

3. Now you need to decide whether this channel will be public or private.

If we select "public", Telegram asks for the username of the channel.

4. When everything is set up, click "Finish" in the upper right corner. The channel has been created.

How to include comments

There is no possibility to comment on posts in the new channel. To allow commenting, you need to create a group and link it to a channel.

To do this:

1. Click on the title and open the information about the channel.

2. In the upper right corner, click "Change" to open the channel settings.

3. Go to the "Discussion" section.

4. Select "Create a group".

5. Enter the name of the group, and then click "Create" in the upper right corner.

6. Done. The group is attached, and now users can leave comments on posts.

Connecting a bot for posting

Although Telegram allows you to post directly to channels, many admins prefer to use dedicated posting bots. With their help, you can create beautiful posts with buttons, make riddle posts, watermark photos and videos, manage posts through a content plan, etc.

I tested different bots - Controller, Telepost, Fleep, Baslay.

Finally settled on @BaslayBot - it has a lot of features and it's free.

Let's move on to the connection:

1. In the Telegram search, enter baslaybot and go to the bot.

2. Click "Start" to start the bot.

3. @BaslayBot is a constructor in which we create our personal bot for delayed posting. To do this, click on the command / newbot in the text of the welcome message.

4. Then go to @BotFather to create a new bot.

5. Send the command /newbot to @BotFather.

6. Send the name of the new bot to the bot. This name will be displayed in the bot title and in the chat list.

7. Sending the name (username) of the new bot. It must be unique among all Telegram users, consist of Latin characters and numbers, and end with " bot ".

8. A new bot has been created. It remains only to connect it to @BaslayBot. To do this, we send a message about the created bot from @BotFather to @BaslayBot.

9. Done, a personal posting bot has been created. Let's go into it.

10. It remains to connect our channel to the delay bot.

In the welcome message, click on /addchannel for more information.

Next, follow the instructions of the bot:

Creating the first post

Now that the channel is connected, we can start posting.

Click "Create Post" and send the bot any content that needs to be published. It can be text, picture, video, poll, etc.

At the next stage, the bot will offer to add design to the post - buttons, auto caption, hidden continuation or other settings, depending on the type of content.

When the post is set up, click Continue.

At the next stage, we specify the post publication parameters - timer deletion, post pinning, copying to several channels, etc.

Next, click Postpone to schedule the publication for the future. If you want to send a post to the channel right now, click "Publish".

Post published 🚀

The instruction turned out to be voluminous, but everything is quite simple when you try it.

That's it. If there are questions, I will be happy to answer.

Good luck everyone!

What I did not use - Viber, WhatsApp, Line, FB messenger . Next to Telegram, they just nervously smoke on the sidelines. Not that I became a fan of this messenger, just its convenience and attention to detail captivates. Therefore, I assure you that from this article you will learn something new, interesting and useful for yourself. Go!

1. How to discreetly read messages in Telegram?

There are situations when you want to read a message, but at the same time do it in such a way that the interlocutor does not know that you have read it. It is very easy to do this, but only in the mobile version of Telegram:

  • Turn on airplane mode in your phone settings
  • Read the message
  • Close the application
  • Turn off airplane mode

Thus, you will read the incoming message, but the sender will not know about it. If everything is done correctly, the interlocutor will have the status “not read”.

2. How can I see the full list of subscribers on a channel?

Very few people usually know about this handy feature, since it only works in the desktop version. So, step by step:

  • Choose your channel
  • We go to the right in the information about the channel, below we click on the number of participants
  • Click on the magnifying glass icon and enter the symbol * in the field

Having opened the full list of your subscribers, you can remove deleted accounts or strange nicknames and do other things with subscribers.

3. What should I do if I need to organize messages in Telegram?

What if in the feed channel releases, messages from contacts, notifications from bots and posts from group chats are mixed into one heap, and you get lost in this stream? Don't panic - a solution has been found! After installing this telegram client, I have no idea how to use the official application.

If you have Android, just try Plus Messanger. What is the difference between separate tabs with channels, chats, groups, bots. Themes and appearance are also easily customizable to your liking.

Here is the link to the Play Market. If you have an iPhone, you can use the Teleplus analogue. Link to iTunes.

4. How to ensure personal privacy in the messenger?

Important note: You cannot hide an account from global search if a username is set. After assigning a nickname (in the settings - “Username”), you can always later find the account itself using it. There is nothing wrong with this fact, just because the username is unique, there is a risk of being in a situation that I recently encountered.

The contact specified in the channel description through the search gave a similar person (who ever searched by username in Skype will understand me). As a result, I wrote to the wrong person, and the person replied in the style of "How did you all get me already" :)

5.

How to hide chats with disabled notifications?

The lack of chat categorization is inconvenient, that's a fact. Let's say you don't want to use unofficial clients for your own reasons. There is a way out, the only caveat: the option works only in the desktop version of Telegram. To activate sorting, you need:

  • Select "Settings" from the menu
  • Enable English layout
  • Type “workmode” on the keyboard (don’t be embarrassed by the lack of visibility of the set)
  • Press "OK"

After that, the application will restart, and at the top of all chats the inscription "Hide chats without notifications" will appear, when clicked, all chats in which notifications are turned off will disappear from the general list.

To return them, you should click on the same area on the inscription "Show all chats". The function is disabled in the same way as it is enabled - by entering the "workmode" command in the "Settings".

6. How to fix an important contact and cut system messages?

A pinned chat, contact or channel will always be at the very top of the list in your feed. This can be done by calling the corresponding menu by long pressing on the element you need. If a pin button (Pin) appears on the right, then everything is done correctly.

Also, many ignore the service messages that Telegram puts for you automatically when you change the logo or pin the post. They can and should be deleted through the menu that appears after a long press on the service message.

These options are provided only in the mobile and desktop versions of the messenger.

7. How to create your own chatbot without any expenses?

@Botfather needs no introduction, but what if you want something more? @Manybot comes to the rescue. It eliminates the need to learn programming languages to write bot algorithms: it allows you to auto-repost from other social networks, and also serves to add commands that can call plain text, polls, mailings, and more. It is convenient because it allows you to create and configure a chat bot directly without leaving Telegram. This bot is in my service to help with processing requests from advertisers: @BizmkPRbot

What else do we have in our available arsenal? Meet Botmother. The service is a visual and cross-platform chatbot constructor for almost all popular messengers.

By the way, my first bot was created in one evening on this constructor. That's what came out of it.

8. How do I add an important post to my favorites?

A very useful feature is not entirely obvious, because in the settings we have a Favorites menu, but how to add and save important posts there? This is done through the "Repost" option. It is an arrow at the bottom right of any post. When you click on it, we get into the list, where "Favorites" will be the first.

Select "Favorites" and click "Submit". Now an important message will not be lost and will be at hand, especially if you pin "Favorites" in your list of contacts, chats and channels. How to fix, you already know.

9. What opportunities does the service for longreads Telegra.ph have?

  • Text formatting options

If you press Enter when writing an article, the next line will start from a paragraph, and Shift+Enter will allow you to start writing from a new line without visual spacing between them.

Also try typing *** on a new line and pressing Enter. There will be a replacement for a neat separation line, with which you can separate semantic blocks of text or add a note, signature or call to share the article at the end.

  • Subscribe to the channel directly from article

An excellent opportunity to promote your channel for free through guest articles, and just for those cases when your material is shared. The essence of the reception is that a link to your channel is hung on the text entered in the "Author" field.

Then for those potential subscribers who open this article from a mobile or tablet, the "Join" button is displayed in the header. When you click it, a quick subscription is issued directly from the article.

  • Service failure or error

Such cases have already happened and may happen again. What if the link like http://telegra.ph/Kak-delat-dengi-na-Telegram-01-27-3 does not open? There are two options here: either wait until they fix it and everything will work out, or use a workaround, the essence of which is to replace the telegra.ph domain in the URL link to the spare graph.org. Thus, the working link from our example will look like: http://graph.org/Kak-delat-dengi-na-Telegram-01-27-3

10. What is the best way to record an audio message in Telegram?

The most common way to record an audio message is to hold down the microphone button, speak the text, release the button, and send the message.
