Part 1: What Are Common WhatsApp Accounts Deleted Causes
There are many cases of accidentally deleting WhatsApp accounts due to various reasons and scenarios. Whether by uninstalling WhatsApp account or permanently deleting it, many users tend to forget all the important messages and contents they had and only realize that it is too late already. The most common of course is by honest mistake that the user-initiated the removal. The other reasons could be any of the following:
- A software update on the Android device- which is quite rare unless full of bugs
- A Factory Reset was made
- Malware or virus infection that triggered the app deletion
- And much more…
How to Uninstall, SD Card or the Third-party Software
Since WhatsApp is now the most used instant messaging app of all time, it has experienced a lot of common troubleshooting scenarios like deleted messages, groups, and attachments.
However, WhatsApp does not store these contents in their servers especially the messages because it is supporting end-to-end encryption so it is quite difficult to perform the recovery once you have deleted its contents for a long period of time already.
You can backup your data like photos, chat histories, attachments, and videos over to Google Drive and can recover them easily only when you uninstall WhatsApp on the android device or switch to another phone.
There are also options to manually backup your WhatsApp messages to the SD card or locally but there seems to be no other way to recover deleted WhatsApp messages once you have deleted your account.
The only possible way that you can restore WhatsApp messages after deleting the account is by using alternatives like third-party recovery programs, like what we are going to talk later, wherein they might be able to scan and find those important conversations to realize the Whatsapp account recovery.

How to restore WhatsApp after deletion on Android: step by step instructions
WhatsApp messenger is quite popular among smartphone users. The application works quite correctly, and allows you to send instant messages in text and audio format. Calls are available from it, as well as sending media files. We will tell you how to restore WhatsApp after deletion on Android, whether it will be possible to return all the information from it, and is there a way to add a utility if a new device is used.
How to restore WhatsApp after deletion on Android
Let's start with the option when you yourself or accidentally deleted the application itself without affecting account deactivation. In this case, everything will be as simple as possible to restore it to Android, just re-install it from the application store:
- Go to the application store Google Play Market .
- In the search box, enter "WhatsApp" .
- Click on the application card, press the button "Install" .
- Please wait until the download and installation is completed.
- Open the application, enter the phone number that was indicated when registering the account.
- The system will start searching for an account and offer to restore it.
- Select the objects you want to restore - correspondence, media files (photos and videos).
This option will only work if you uninstall the WhatsApp application itself. But if you changed the SIM card, respectively, the account will be new, then you will not be able to restore the account.
It is also impossible to do this in a situation where you delete your profile from WhatsApp.
How to restore WhatsApp if you have a backup copy
Copying data to a backup allows you to restore absolutely all the data that was in the messenger. However, first you should understand the application settings, then activate the functionality, and make the settings correctly. To recover a deleted WhatsApp, there are only two steps to follow:
- Re-download and install the app from Google Play.
- At the time of launching the utility, agree to auto-recovery from a backup.
This option will allow you to add to the messenger all the chats that were created during the last week. If it is necessary to return earlier messages, the algorithm will be somewhat more complicated:
- Enter the phone's file system.
- If the backup is saved on the memory card, select the partition /sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases .
- If the copy is in the device memory, follow the files on the route WhatsApp/Databases .
- A list of files will open, where you need to select a folder like msgstore…..1.db.crypt12 . The date must be similar in time to the day of recovery.
- Clean out the date data and you end up with the name db.crypt12 .
- Download the application from the store and install it on your smartphone.
- Confirm your consent to extract the backup.
Please note! None of the above options can help if your account is blocked or you are switching to a different phone number.
If you want to restore the messenger on another phone, then it must also be on the Android OS.
