Whether you want to view old stories or unarchive a post, it's easy to access your Instagram archive at any time.
Instagram allows you to archive photos you no longer wish for followers to see on your profile, but you don't necessarily want to delete. You can view your archive to unarchive the posts or simply browse through old Instagram stories.
To access your archive, head to your Instagram profile and tap the three bars in the upper right hand corner. You can also create a highlight story from a selection of old posts or stories in your archive.
Here's how to get to your Instagram archive.
1. Head to your Instagram profile on the app by tapping the right-most option at the bottom.

" Marissa Perino/Business Insider 4. This will bring you to your Archive. It is automatically set to photos and videos you posted on your story. Tap the "Archive" label at the top to and select "Posts" to change the menu to show posts you've hidden.

Tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner to open a pop-up with two options: "Settings" and "Create Highlight." Tap the latter option if you want to create a new highlight with some of your archived stories. Tap "Settings" to check your Story Controls, such as making sure photos are automatically archived.

When you add posts to your Instagram archive, where do they go? Here's how to view them...
If you're like most people, you have a few posts on Instagram that you would rather not have anyone see anymore. Maybe they're from a time in your life that you'd rather forget, or maybe they just aren't very flattering.
Luckily, Instagram makes it easy to hide these posts from view without deleting them thanks to its archive feature.
But what if you want to revisit these images and videos later?
In this article, we will show you how to view posts that you've archived on Instagram.
When you archive a post on Instagram, it means the post is no longer visible on your profile.
However, the post is not deleted, and you can view it at any time by going to your archive. You can also choose to unarchive the post, which will make it visible on your profile again.
The archive feature allows you to hide these posts without having to delete them. This can be useful if you want to keep the post for sentimental reasons.
The archive feature is only available on the mobile version of Instagram, so you'll need to use the Instagram app to view your archived posts.

The social network automatically sends stories to the archive 24 hours after publication. But if they are not displayed in the "Archive" section, then saving must be re-enabled. There are two ways: through the settings and while browsing.

Recently, deleted posts are stored for 30 days, during which time they can be pulled back.
But for this you will need to verify your identity using a special code that will be sent to your email.

Is it possible to return photos to Instagram* from a computer? Unfortunately, the social network site does not have a menu with archives of publications. Therefore, even if you switch to mobile layout, you will not be able to access the archives.
