How to unpublish a Facebook page on a PC browser:

  1. Go to Facebook.
  2. If you haven’t, log into your account.
  3. Hit Pages.
  4. Go to your Facebook page.
  5. Click the Settings option on the left column.
  6. Select Edit under Page Visibility.
  7. Click Page unpublished.
  8. Hit Save Changes.
  9. Share your reason for unpublishing the Facebook page.
  10. Hit Next.
  11. Select Unpublish.

How to unpublish a page on the Facebook app:

  1. Open the Facebook Android app.
  2. Tap on the three-line options button in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to Pages. It might be shown as “Your X Pages,” where “X” is the number of pages you have.

  1. Go to Facebook.
  2. If you haven’t, log into your account.

Now, if you already have a Facebook page and you want to delete it for any reason, it's useful to know that there are various ways to do so.

You can delete Facebook pages both on a computer and on the mobile app. However, it's important to understand deleting your Facebook Page is different from deactivating your account -- once deleted, it can never be recovered. If you're sure you want to delete your FB Page you follow these steps.

But, first, make sure that you're an admin of the Page you're trying to delete. You won't see the delete option on a Facebook Page if you're not an admin.

Can I cancel the account deletion?

You can restore your account within 30 days after deletion. After that, it and all information associated with it will be deleted without the possibility of recovery.

It may take up to 90 days for your content to be completely removed. While we delete this information, it will not be available to anyone on Facebook.

In the classic version, only an administrator can delete a Page, but in the new version, a person with full access at the Facebook level.

If you submit a request to remove your Facebook Page, we will deactivate or unpublish it immediately, but the Page will not be permanently removed until 14 days later. In addition, you can deactivate or unpublish your Page at any time.

You can also delete your personal account.

To delete a Page that you have full access to at the Facebook level:

Click on your profile photo or icon at the top of the Facebook window.

Click the icon and select the desired Page.

Click your profile picture or icon at the top of the Facebook window.

Select Settings & Privacy and then Settings.

Click Page Settings.

In the Page Information Access section, click Page Access and Control.

Click Deactivate and delete.

Select Delete Page, click Next, and follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to enter your password again.

Select Reactivation.

Click Reactivate next to a Page to cancel its deletion by reactivating it.

To delete a Page you administer:

Click the icon in the top right corner of the Facebook window.
