If you’re looking for the options to delete on the Instagram website on the computer you can not find the delete button until you follow these steps. These are the same steps that I’ve taken to clean my Instagram account recently. I also developed a script to automate the Instagram posts bulk delete process and named the script as InstaG Purger.
This tip works on any web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc. that supports developer console with the device toolbar.
Generally, when you open the Instagram posts and try to remove a post, the delete option is not available on the menu list.
However, here are the steps to delete the Instagram post on computer:
Step 1: Launch the Chrome Browser on Desktop.
Step 2: Open your Instagram profile. ex: https://instagram.com/restorebin.
Step 3: Right-click for more options and select Inspect. This will open the developer console on Chrome browser.
Step 4: Click on the Toggle device toolbar in the developer console.
Step 5: In the drop-down select any device like iPhone X and set scale to 100%.
Step 6: Reload the Instagram profile page.
Step 7: Click on the Feeds icon to switch.
Step 8: Click on the

Step 9: Select the Delete option.
Step 10: Finally, Click on Delete command to confirm that you want to remove the Instagram post.
That’s it. Your Instagram post will be deleted from the desktop site on PC. As I mentioned, you will be able to delete the post any browser without using any external software. Even mass delete an Instagram Photos using InstaG Purger.

Sometimes you post a picture on Instagram and after several minutes (days, or even years!) you change your mind and want to delete it. Thankfully, Instagram makes this easy to do.
You can do this with as many pictures as you want but it’s still not possible to delete more than one post at the same time.
It is also possible to delete a tag of yours on someone’s photo. You can do it like this:
And that’s it. To mass untag photos, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the ‘Tags’ menu, then tap ‘Hide Photos’.
Remember that there is no way to delete Instagram photos from your profile on a laptop or other PC. If you want to delete a post, you have to do so from the app on your mobile device.
Apart from your personal feelings, consider if deleting a post is actually beneficial. Maybe you had significant engagement under it? Maybe users liked it and it was something valuable?
Before deleting content, always try to analyze it before.
Check how this specific post performed. Compare its performance to other posts. Monitor if users are often coming back to it… and so on, and so on…

1 Using browser Any browser, from Internet Explorer to Chrome, has enough functionality to delete photos from Instagram without installing any third-party programs.
To open such features, you need to go to the Developer Tools by pressing Ctrl + Shift + I or 90.34 20. In most browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Yandex.Browser), both options work. In Opera, only Ctrl+Shift+I; in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge - only F12.
Opening the panel:
The process looks a little different in Internet Explorer.
Instead of a phone/tablet icon, there is an Emulation tab, where you need to select Browser Profile - Windows Phone. And there, the toolbar blocks half of the Instagram buttons, which causes difficulties when using this browser.
To remove the panel from the side, click Unpin.
Note that instead of "Emulate" there is now a triangular button - exactly the same as in Edge.
Otherwise, Edge and IE are no different from other browsers, you also need to click three dots to delete the photo.
Those who use Mozilla can sometimes also have an incident with the toolbar blocking the Instagram interface.
Click on the three dots next to the phone / tablet icon and select "Pin to the right". The sequence of actions is standard - F12 and so on, we will not repeat.
It's much easier to add or remove photos with the browser extension. It’s easier just because you don’t have to repeat this standard sequence every time - it’s enough to install the extension once, in which all the necessary buttons are immediately visible.
