If you don’t like the idea of everyone on Facebook being able to see the photos you’ve been tagged in, you can hide them from your timeline. You can tweak your privacy settings and limit the audience for the respective images. For example, you can allow only Close Friends to see the photos or posts you’ve been tagged in.

There are multiple options you can choose from:
You can also review the photos and posts that people tagged you in before they show up on your profile.
Go back to Profile and Tagging, and scroll down to the Reviewing section. There are two options available:
The tagging privacy options that Facebook supports only allow you to hide tags from your profile. This means that people won’t be able to see those posts when they visit your Facebook profile.
However, the respective posts remain visible to their initial audience. In other words, people can see them in other places on Facebook, such as the News Feed or the profile of the person who initially published them.
When Facebook users upload new photos, they can choose a specific audience for those images. You don’t have control over who can see the posts other people tagged you in.
If you think the post is abusive, you can remove the tag or report it to Facebook.
Of course, you can always ask the person who uploaded the photo to remove the tag. But they may not always be willing to do that.
That’s why you should always choose your Facebook friends wisely. Keeping your circle of friends small is an excellent idea if you want to avoid unpleasant situations.
Facebook’s privacy settings allow you to hide the posts and photos other users tagged you in. However, the respective photos may remain visible to their initial audience in other places on Facebook. You can only hide them from your profile.

On Facebook, if someone wants to get your attention or make it clear to others that you are somehow connected to a post, they can tag you in it.
Your name will be mentioned in the post or with the photo, and everyone else who sees it will also know that you are mentioned.
That's great, except you didn't consent to being tagged, and it's possible you don't want to be associated with that post. The good news? It's easy to untag yourself.
The process for untagging yourself is the same, whether you're using Facebook in a browser or via the mobile app on your phone or tablet.
Here's how to do it.
1. Start by opening Facebook in a browser or launching the Facebook app.
2. Find the post you have been tagged in.
3. At the top right of the post, beside the name of the person who posted it, click the three-dot menu.
4. In the menu, choose "Remove tag."

When you tag someone in a photo or post, you create a link to that person's Facebook profile. A post in which a person is credited can also be added to their profile feed. If you tag a friend in your status, all the people you allow to see the status change will be able to click on the friend's name and go to their profile. Your status change may also appear in that friend's feed.

If you don't want the photo, post, or other content to be visible to friends of the tagged person, you can disable this setting on a per-post basis when you publish.
To do this, click on the audience selection icon next to the event, select User Settings and uncheck Friends of the tagged people.

If you don't like the content you're tagged in, you can untag or ask the person who tagged you to delete the post .
To remove a tag from a post you've been tagged in, click the v icon in the top right corner of the post and select Delete label .

Keep in mind that photos you hide on your timeline may still be visible to the audience they were shared with elsewhere on Facebook.
Object recognition technology analyzes pixels in photos and movies to calculate a unique number called template . The system compares other Facebook photos and videos with this pattern. If it finds a match, marks the objects.
