How can i save photos from instagram to my phone
How to Download and Save All Your Instagram Photos
If you've used Instagram for a while, you've probably built up quite a collection of your own photos, as well as those you've saved from others. You can always view them on your Instagram page, but what if you want to save copies as a backup?
Thankfully, it's pretty easy to save Instagram photos. We'll show you how to download and save photos from Instagram on iPhone, Android, and your PC.
How to Download All Your Instagram Photos at Once
If you want to download everything you've posted on Instagram in one go, you can use Instagram's simple tool on your computer or phone. To use it, first log into Instagram on your desktop or laptop, or open the mobile app.
On mobile, tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right, followed by the three-line Menu in the upper-right. From the menu that appears, tap Settings. Finally, choose Security > Download Data on the options menu.

On desktop, click your profile picture in the upper-right corner to open a menu, then choose Settings from that menu. On the resulting page, choose Privacy and Security on the left side. Then scroll down to the Data Download header and click Request Download.
Either method will take you to Instagram's download request page, where you can get a copy of everything you've posted on Instagram.
Instagram says this includes all "your photos, comments, profile information, and more." This can take up to 48 hours, but shouldn't take more than a few minutes to an hour in most cases.
Your email address should already be in the field, so click Next to continue. On desktop, you can choose HTML or JSON for the format. You'll need to then enter your password, and Instagram will start generating the data.
Soon, you'll get an email with a link to everything you've ever shared on Instagram. It's only valid for a few days, so download your data quickly before it expires. This is the best way to save an archived copy of your entire Instagram profile in a short amount of time.
How to Download Instagram Photos on iPhone
Instagram doesn't provide an official way for you to download your own photos on iPhone, Android, or the web. You might be tempted to download an app that claims to do this for you, but you should stay away from most of these. Never enter your Instagram password into a third-party app, as doing so could lead to your account getting stolen.
However, some downloader apps are safe to use because they don't require your credentials. One is iGram, which works on mobile and desktop. It has some ads, but they aren't overly intrusive.
To use it, find the Instagram photo you want to download. Whether it's one of yours or someone else's, tap the three-dot button at the top-right on the post and choose Copy Link. Next, open iGram in Safari or another browser.
Tap in the URL box and choose Paste to add the link to your photo. Then press Download. After a few moments, you'll see the image appear below.
You can tap on the Download 1080w or other buttons to quickly download the file in a variety of sizes. If you prefer, long-press on the image and choose Add to Photos or Share > Save Image instead.

For future reference, you can also toggle a setting in the Instagram app to save a copy of everything you post to your phone. To enable this, tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner of Instagram, then open the three-line menu in the top-right. Choose Settings in the list that appears.
Choose Account > Original Photos from the list here. If you enable Save Original Photos, Instagram will save a copy of the unedited version of any photos you take with the Instagram camera. This is a good way to make sure you don't lose anything, and saves you from doing the manual method above every time.

How to Download Instagram Photos on Android
The process for download Instagram photos on Android is quite similar to the above process for iPhone. We'll cover it again here with Android screenshots, due to a few minor differences.

Open Instagram and find the picture you want to save. Tap on the three-dot Menu button above the post and choose Copy Link to add it to your clipboard. Next, open Chrome or another browser and go to iGram.
Press and hold inside the text field to show the Paste option and tap that. Then hit Download and wait a few moments for the image to process. Scroll down and tap Download 1080w or one of the other buttons to immediately download it. If you prefer, you can also long-press on the image and choose Download image.
To find your downloaded image, tap the three-dot menu button at the top-right of Chrome and choose Downloads to view it. You can also use a file explorer app to browse to Downloads and check it there.

You'll find the same option on Android for saving a copy of all future Instagram posts, too. In the Instagram app, tap your Profile icon in the bottom-right of the app, then open the three-line menu at the top-right and choose Settings from the resulting window. On the next menu, choose Account > Original Posts.
Enable the options here to save copies of everything you post to your phone's storage. In addition to saving unedited photos, Instagram on Android lets you also choose to save the posted images and videos you put on your account.

How to Download Instagram Photos on a PC
iGram works fine on your desktop or laptop too. To use it on a desktop browser, just click the three-dot menu button on an Instagram post and choose Copy Link. Paste it into iGram to access a downloadable copy of the image, just like on mobile.
If you'd like to take a more technical route, you can use a trick to access and download Instagram images through the page's source code. To do this, first click a photo's timestamp (such as 15 Minutes Ago) to open its permanent URL. Once on that page, right-click the image and choose View page source.
In a new tab, you'll see a bunch of HTML code, but don't worry if you're not familiar with this. Press Ctrl + F to search, and enter og:image to jump to the only line that contains this text. On that line, find the URL that appears after content=. It will usually have .jpg somewhere in it; you'll need to copy the entire URL for it to work.
Copy this URL and open it in a new tab to load just the image. Then you can right-click and choose Save image as to download a copy.
How to Quickly Download Many Instagram Photos From a Profile
If you want to download many photos from one account, it's pretty slow to use the above methods for each image. There are other Instagram downloader websites that let you quickly download many images from a profile.
They're not perfect—most of them don't let you download more than a handful of images in one session, or charge you to download everything from an account. But if you want to download a few recent posts from an account, it's faster to use a service like Bigbangram or Ingramer.
These both offer a Download profile option that loads all recent images from a user and lets you click Download to grab their photos in quick succession. Give it a try if you find the above too slow.
Don't Forget About Bookmarking Images on Instagram
While it's not the same as downloading, you can also hit the Bookmark icon on a post to save it for later. You can access all your saved bookmarks by tapping on the three-line menu on your profile page and choosing Saved.
Bookmarking on Instagram allows you to jump back to a photo without copying the link or downloading it. These are only visible to you; nobody else can see your saved posts on Instagram.
Keep in mind that that bookmarks are only shortcuts to existing posts on Instagram. If the owner takes down a photo you've saved, the bookmark won't work anymore.
Unfortunately, there is no way to download all your saved photos on Instagram at once. Some third-party software exists for this, but as mentioned, you should be careful about trusting these apps since they can compromise your Instagram account.
In addition to the default Saved list, you can create and manage additional Collections on this page. These are handy for collecting posts around a certain theme, such as ideas for a wedding.

When you tap the Bookmark icon on an Instagram post, you can then choose Save to Collection to put it somewhere else. Tap a collection from the list that appears, or hit the Plus icon to make a new one.
Saving and Downloading Instagram Photos Made Easy
We've covered how to download everything you've posted to Instagram, how to save a copy of other people's photos, and even how to grab an image from the source code on desktop. These methods should allow you to download pretty much any photo on Instagram.
There are lots of other ways to become an Instagram pro beyond just saving photos, though.
How To Save Instagram Photos And Download To Your Phone
Photographed by Beth Sacca.
We're two days into 2019, which means New Year's resolution posts, OOTD roundups, year-in-review highlight reels, and January #newyearnewyou to-do lists have taken over our Instagram feeds in full force. So if as you scroll, you want to save some of the best posts for a little 2k19 inspo — from haircut goals to travel destinations to Marie Kondo-level organization — here's how to do it.
Instagram already lets you save photos to an easily in-app accessible folder — just hit the bookmark button in the bottom right corner underneath the photo in your feed that you'd like to save, and it will automatically store in the Saved folder on the righthand panel of your profile. (To access the panel, tap on the three horizontal lines on the top right corner of your profile, and it will appear.) But if you want to save photos to your phone to look at even when you're offline, it's slightly more complicated.

For your own photos, Instagram makes it easy. Go to the right-hand panel on your profile and click on Account and then Original Photos. Then, just make sure Save Original Photos is turned on. This will ensure that photos taken on the feed camera are added to your camera roll.
For other peoples' photos, if you don't want to download a third party app to download photos, you'll have to dip into a bit of code (but don't worry, it's easier than it looks!). Here's how: If you're browsing your Instagram feed on your phone and you come across a photo you'd like to download, click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Copy Link. (The photo must be from a public Instagram profile.) Then just email the link to yourself so that you can open it on a computer. (And if you're already browsing Instagram on your computer, hit the three dots in the bottom corner and click on Go To Post.)
Once you have your desired Instagram photo open on your computer, right click it and select View Page Source. This will direct you to a page of code, but don't be alarmed! All you have to do is use the content finder tool (control + F) and search for meta property="og:image". After this thread, you should find content=. From here, highlight the text beginning with https:// until you reach instagram. com. Copy the link and then paste it into your browser, where you should see the original image. Finally, right click on the image and hit Save. And voila, it's yours, where you can access it online or off! To save a photo from a private account, though, you're better off with a screenshot.

With Stories, it's a lot simpler. The easiest option: just screenshot. But be sure to hold down on the image at the same time — this will make the poster's Instagram handle and photo disappear, so you'll have a clear shot of the photo alone. And while users once were notified when their Stories were screenshot, that isn't a thing anymore (at least, for now). As for your own Stories, when you take a photo and want to save it to your camera roll in addition to posting it, be sure to hit the down arrow Save button at the top before posting. If you know you want to save your Stories, go to Story Controls in the top left corner of the Story screen, where you can elect to automatically save your posts to your camera roll or to your in-app Story archive. To access your Story archive, click on the clock-like icon on the top left of your profile, where you can look through your post history.
And if you're looking to download all of the personal data you've shared on Instagram, click on your Settings on the righthand panel of your profile, and then on Privacy and Security. From here, select Download Data. You'll be prompted to enter your email address, and then the app will send you a file of all of your photos, comments, profile information, and personal data in up to 48 hours.
A word to the wise: If this post is any indication, it's very easy to download Instagram photos and Stories, so don't share anything on Instagram that you wouldn't want one of your followers to download.
How to save photos from Instagram to your phone
In this article we will tell you about some easy ways to save photos or videos from Instagram to your Android phone.
Instagram is a popular social network for posting and viewing photos, videos, chatting with friends, advertising and sales. Despite the many advantages of a social network, there is also a drawback - the inability to save photos and videos to your phone.
Legal side of the issue
If you are going to download a photo or video from Instagram, it is important to understand that content posted on the Internet and social networks in particular is subject to copyright. nine0003
Downloading and using a photo or video is a violation of the law, except in rare cases when the author does not mind the use of materials.
Only your own photos and videos, as well as those covered by the free Creative Commons CC0 (Public Domain) and CC BY (Attribution) license, can be downloaded without violation. For example, one of these licenses is used by the Wikipedia website.
For this reason, social network administrations are fighting video download services and regularly submit complaints about content saving applications hosted on Google Play. nine0003

The first trick to save Instagram photos on Android
The easiest trick to save Instagram photos on Android phone is to take a screenshot of it.
I'll show you how to do it on a Samsung phone - if you have a different one, then the combination of buttons to make a screen may be different.
So, I choose a photo on Instagram and take a screen while holding down "power" and "home" - it appears in the gallery, only the options are saved in the picture below. nine0003
Removing them is very easy. To do this, open the photo and select "Convert" or "Edit" from the bottom - depending on what you see.
Next, just moving the corners, we make it so that there is nothing superfluous and click on the bird to save it.
The second way to save Instagram photos on android phone is through Easy Downloader app
It is very easy to save Instagram photos on Android. The only thing you need is the Easy Downloader app. nine0003
You can download the app for free from the play store. After installation, run it.

After launching Easy Downloader, go to the Instagram application on our smartphone and find a photo of interest to you.
Touch the options icon at the bottom of the screen. The screen will display "Copy the URL you've connected to." nine0003
When you copy the photo link, EasyDownloader will start. The program will download the photo and save it in the "Download" folder on your android phone.
After downloading, you can move it to the photo directory or save it in downloaded files.

Then copy the URL. To do this, click the icon in the top right corner and select "Copy Share URL"
Step 3. Now go to the iGetter application and paste the copied URL. Below you will see the image whose URL you just copied.
Step 4. To save the photo, click the icon in the upper right corner, and then select the location where the photo or video will be saved. By default, this is the InstaDownloader folder.
The second app I would like to recommend is Instasave. With it, you can not only save photos, but also view the entire Instagram directly in the application.
Step 1. Install Instasave on your device, then log in with your Instagram username and password.
