WhatsApp have kindly provided all the tools you need to be able to do this.
First, create a backup of your WhatsApp messages, then restore the backup to your new device. Easy, right? Let's see how:
- Open WhatsApp on your Android device.

- Log in to your Google account.
- Log in to WhatsApp and open the settings section.
- Select the "Chats" tab.
- Go to the Chat Backup section.
- Select the frequency of Google Drive backups: daily, weekly, monthly, or at the click of a button.
- Specify the Google account that will be used to store copies.
- Select the backup network: Wi-Fi or wireless and mobile internet.

- Install the messenger on a new smartphone. Sign in with the Google account you used to create the backup.

On iOS devices, copying the chat history is done via iCloud. There is no official way to transfer WhatsApp backup from Android to iOS. But you can use the AppTrans program. It needs to be installed on the computer. Further procedure:
- Run AppTrans on the PC.
