The above algorithm is valid for any URLs that are used within the messenger. Naturally, a resource pointer copied in this way can be inserted not only into internal correspondence, but also sent to any addressee on the Internet via an email, a post on a forum, or a post on a social network.

Telegram has a preview function that allows you to evaluate the content of a resource before visiting it. To use this functionality, you do not need to understand the settings and perform additional steps. It is enough to insert the URL into the input field of the dialog box, after which the system will automatically analyze the content of the web resource and offer a preview picture, which may contain text with a brief description, photo or video information. If you just need to insert text, then you should click the cross in the upper right corner of the preview image and this preview will be deleted.
