There’s never any shortage of new trends on TikTok, with new challenges popping up on a constant basis, and many of them going insanely viral.
In particular, people enjoy putting the editing capabilities of the most popular apps to use, and sharing the results of their various experiments to TikTok.
While June has seen the rise of the ‘beer poster’ trend, in the past users have made their own Vogue covers, and even made some pretty realistic album covers as part of a trend that went hugely viral.

- Launch Instagram, click ‘Your Story’
- Click the square in the bottom left corner to open your camera roll, and select the image you would like to use.
- Tap the screen to type a period, select the second font along, then tap the ‘A’ icon at the top with stars next to it until the background of the period is translucent. You can also change the color at this stage by using the color wheel, also located at the top. (Note: If this doesn’t work for you, some have achieved the same effect by selecting the highlighter tool and pressing and holding the screen until the color fills it. )
- Tap the screen again to exit the text editor, and use two fingers to enlarge the text so it covers the entire screen.
- Save that image, exit the editor, and put the newly edited image back in the editor.
- Click the smiley face sticker button to open the stickers tab, and select the circle with the gallery icon on it to open your camera roll. Tap on the image you want to import.
- Once the image is in the editor, tap on it until the shape becomes a square.
- Go into the stickers tab again and click music to select the song you want to play in your story. Tap on it to turn it into a square, then click done.
- Position the album cover where you want it on screen, then move your square image on top of it.
- Go into stickers and then GIFs.
- Search ‘Spotify’ and pick an animation that looks like the Spotify progress bar. Then position it under your picture to complete the look.
- Tap the save button to import your creation to your camera roll.
The process is fairly lengthy, but you can get creative with stickers, songs, and images you use, and have a chance at going viral on TikTok by uploading your video there.

How to Add Music to an Instagram Story
Instagram Stories are easy to make, but they can require a lot of thought if you want to make them truly entertaining. Thankfully, Instagram offers a number of tools to help make your stories as fun as possible.
Maybe you've got some great photos or videos and some cool filters and stickers to layer on top, but your story is still missing one important factor—music. Instagram offers a selection of tunes from its own library and your favorite music streaming services, like Spotify(Opens in a new window), SoundCloud(Opens in a new window), and Shazam. Here's everything you need to know about music and Instagram.
Add Music in Instagram
You can add music directly to your story using Instagram’s library. Tap the plus (+) icon at the top of the app, then scroll to Story on the bottom navigation bar. You can also long-press Your Story and tap Add to Your Story or swipe to the right to open your camera, then select Your Story after the photo or video is captured.
At the camera screen, snap your photo or video. You can also swipe up to see your photo library, then select what you want to add. Apply whatever filters or special effects you want. When you're ready to add a tune to your story, tap the Sticker icon and then tap the Music sticker.
At the Music screen, browse through the different sections and genres to find a tune. You can also use the search field at the top of the screen to search for particular music by song, artist, or album. Spot a song you like? Tap the Play button to hear a short clip.
When you're ready to make a selection, tap the song you want in your story. You will have the opportunity to scroll through the song and decide what sound clip (up to 15 seconds) will play over your story. Move the slider bar until you find the section you want added.
Some songs offer multiple images from which you can choose, so tap the music thumbnail to change the image. Some even offer lyrics that appear on the screen as the music plays. When you're happy with the image you've chosen, tap Done and the song is added to your story in the form of a sticker.
Once you've finalized your music selection, the song appears as a sticker in your story. You can choose where the sticker will be placed in your story by moving it around the screen with your finger. Change the size of the sticker by pinching or expanding two fingers. Use two fingers and twist to change the orientation of the sticker.
Don’t like the look of your sticker? Double-tap it to return to the previous screen, where you can change the appearance of the sticker. Tap Done to return to your story.
If you’ve recorded a video, you can do even more with your sticker before you post the story. Hold down on it and you’ll be able to pin the sticker to a specific person or object in the video. This means the sticker will move along with the object as it moves in the video.
When you're done tweaking the music, tap the Your Story icon to publish your story with music. Alternatively, if you want only specific people to see it, you can either tap Close Friends to send it to a custom group of people, or tap Send To and select which users should get it.
To view your story, tap the Your Story icon. Your story appears with the music automatically playing. Tapping the song label pauses the music and brings up a window at the bottom through which you can save the music or send it to another person on Instagram. Your followers can view your story and play the music in the same way.
Add Music From the Spotify App
You can add music to your Instagram story by grabbing it from the Spotify app. With a song playing in Spotify, tap the ellipsis icon and choose the Share option. Tap Instagram and you're taken to your Instagram story, where your selected song appears with its cover art. You can add text, stickers, and other effects to your story. Tap the Your Story icon to post the story with the song you selected.
Once your story has been posted, it will serve as a link back to Spotify. Tap the Your Story icon in Instagram to view it. Anyone who views your story can tap Play on Spotify, and then Open Spotify to launch the song in the app.
Add Music From the SoundCloud App
Share a song from the SoundCloud app to your Instagram story by selecting a song and choosing Share. Select Stories to import the song and its associated image into Instagram.
Once the story has been published, it will serve as a link back to the song on SoundCloud. View the story, tap Play on SoundCloud, then select Open SoundCloud to open the song in the app.
Add Music From the Shazam App
While Shazam is primarily used to analyze and identify songs you’re already listening to, you can also get the app to play music and send it to Instagram. Open the app and allow it to recognize a song that is currently playing.
Tap the song in Shazam, then tap More and Share. Tap the Instagram option to send the song and its artwork to the Instagram app. After the story has been published, you can travel back to the Shazam app through Instagram. To do this, open the story in Instagram and tap the Open Shazam button to play the song in the app.

All ways to share your Spotify tracks on social media - Spotify for Artists
How fans and followers can discover your music on Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and other platforms.
Our goal is to help performers connect with their listeners. We know that social networks play a very important role in this. That's why we've focused on creating tools that make it easy and convenient to connect Spotify with social networks, including Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. There are also a few more cool features that are prepared especially for the Spotify for Artists community. You can unveil a new track, celebrate an album release anniversary, or share a playlist you've put together yourself. And all this in a few clicks! The influx of new listeners will not keep you waiting. nine0003
Of course, you can always share music via SMS, Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp or email. To do this, go to the profile, track, playlist or album, click on the three dots, select "Share" and "Copy link".
However, a link is no longer the only way to share. There are more convenient and visually appealing options: Instagram and Facebook stories, Snapchat and more. We have collected 7 effective ways for you to instantly share music from Spotify. nine0003
Instagram Stories
How to Share in Instagram Stories
The days of screenshots are over. Spotify's integration with Instagram stories allows you to link them directly to content on our service. To do this, navigate to the desired track, album, playlist, or artist profile in the Spotify app, tap on the three dots, select Share, and then select Instagram Stories. A new Instagram story will be created with your content cover. You can add emojis, captions, and any other eye-catching elements and post your story. In its upper left corner, subscribers will see a button "Listen on Spotify". Such a link increases the response of fans and followers on both Instagram and Spotify, and gives them instant access to your music. nine0003
Facebook Stories
How to Share in Facebook Stories
Spotify's integration with Facebook Stories works the same way, with the difference that audio is added to the story. In Spotify, navigate to the desired track, click "Share", select "Facebook Story", design it and publish it. When viewing a story, users will hear a 15-second snippet of the track you shared. To listen to it in its entirety, you need to click "Listen on Spotify". If you manage to interest listeners, they will go to your profile to get to know your work better. Right now, audio snippets are only available for tracks, but you can also post direct links to albums, playlists, and Spotify profiles on your Facebook story. nine0029 Please note that the integration currently only works for Facebook profiles, not pages.
Snapchat
How to share on Snapchat
Sharing music on Snapchat is also easy and convenient. Navigate to the desired track, album or playlist, open the Share menu and select Snapchat. A new Snap with album art will appear automatically. Make any changes and submit it. While browsing, your friends and followers will be able to swipe up to open the track in Spotify. nine0003
Spotify Scannable Codes
How to share with Spotify Scannable Codes
Spotify codes allow you to share content instantly and work just like QR codes. To get the Spotify code (it looks like a sound wave located under the cover of the content), go to the desired profile, track, album or playlist in the app. Click on the three dots, tap the cover with the code, and save it to your device's memory. Now you can share the photo online or play with it creatively. For example, the code for a new album can be printed on flyers, posters, stickers, or even t-shirts. To scan the code, fans will need to open the Spotify app, go to Search, click on the camera icon, and point the camera at the code. nine0003
Posting an Intro to Instagram Stories
How to Share an Intro to Instagram Stories
An Intro is a 3-8 second repeating clip that is attached to a track and opens up new opportunities for self-expression. This is a great way to draw attention to a new composition or remind you of an old one. Tracks with an intro are more shared (up to 200%) and have more plays and views overall. To post an intro to Instagram stories, open the track with it in the Spotify app and click Share. Instead of a static image, a looped video will appear in the story. As with other Instagram stories created on Spotify, there will be a "Listen on Spotify" link in the top left corner of the screen. This will allow users to share your splash screen too. nine0003
Unique links to editorial playlists
How to share personalized editorial playlists
Spotify personalized editorial playlists give artists more exposure and listeners more of their favorite content. They include tracks selected by our editors, but the order is selected individually for each listener. This means that different users will see different versions of the same playlist. But when a listener clicks on your unique link, then your track appears in the playlist in the first place. To get a unique link, open the Spotify for Artists app, click on the music tab, go to the page of the desired track and select the playlists tab. The Recent playlist adds section will show all the playlists this track has entered in the last 7 days. For personalized playlists with your track, the Copy unique link option will be available. This link can be shared on social networks. Anyone who clicks on it will see your track in the first place in the playlist for 24 hours. nine0003

How to share a track placement on the New Fridays playlist
If your track is on the New Fridays playlist, this is worth sharing with your fans! After all, more than 3.5 million users have already subscribed to the collection, and this is not the limit. This could be a turning point in your career, share it! This feature is now available to artists whose tracks have been featured in the New Fridays playlist worldwide and in Canada. nine0003

How to Share Your Instagram Story Screensaver - Spotify for Artists
We're introducing a new way to interact with social media that will bring your music to life and increase fan engagement.
With the launch of the beta intros, previously static track pages have been transformed into mesmerizing pieces of video art. With the help of 8-second recurring clips, various artists on Spotify began to reveal new facets of their work. Using the intro, Poppy highlighted the otherworldly vibe of the tracks from the new album I Disagree , and Billie Eilish added fan art to the songs as a token of her appreciation to her listeners.
Artists participating in the intro beta can now share their unique videos in Instagram Stories, expanding the reach and value of interaction with the audience of the photo-sharing platform. By clicking on the story, subscribers will be taken to Spotify, where they can simultaneously watch the intro and listen to the track associated with it, getting the most out of it. nine0003
Screensavers can currently be shared by all Spotify users (both artists and listeners). When someone posts a track from the app to their Instagram Story, the intro is made available to everyone. The post will look the same as usual (cover art and track link in Spotify), only now the splash screen will be the background. To share a song, simply tap the three dots icon in the upper right corner of the screen during playback, select the desired action, and then select "Instagram Stories". Please note that Instagram doesn't play audio, and fans who view the intro in-app but don't go to Spotify will not be counted towards intro performance metrics. nine0003
This interaction is great for releasing new tracks, drawing attention to a change in the intro after a clip has been released, or if you've added fan art or performance recordings to your current intro (provided that all the images and videos you use are comply with Spotify's content policy). Users who saw a high-quality intro shared the track much more often (up to 200% increase). In addition, the number of his listening and saving to the media library increased, as well as the number of visits to the artist's profile. By simply posting intros that fans can share with friends, you have a chance to reach many new listeners through the attractiveness of the videos.
