How to get more customers on instagram

11 Ways to Find Local Customers and Clients on Instagram

You’re all clued into Instagram marketing methods in general, but how do you reach local communities? For retail store owners and franchise owners, it’s all about being able to discover local audiences and turn them into paying customers.

There are several ways to acquire clients from Instagram, but they don’t all work for a hyper-local audience. Furthermore, you often need to tailor the tactics that do work so you target only the customers who can actually use your service or visit your store.

This guide will take a deep dive into how to find local customers on Instagram. We’ll share some of our top tactics for building your presence with those audiences closest to you, so you can convert those followers into customers.

11 ways to find local customers on Instagram

To save you the hard work, we’ve put together a list of the best ways to find local customers on Instagram. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Optimize your Instagram bio
  2. Create tailored Instagram highlights
  3. Tag your location
  4. Engage with people who have tagged your location
  5. Work with local influencers
  6. Partner with other local businesses
  7. Run a collection-only giveaway
  8. Use with local hashtags
  9. Share content from local creators and businesses
  10. Sponsor or partner with a local event
  11. Host an Instagram takeover

1.

Optimize your Instagram bio

Your Instagram bio is one of the best places to share who you are, what you stand for, and what you sell. Consider it your virtual store window on the platform—a place that most people will look if they’re curious about you. It should explain what you sell, who you are, and position you perfectly for your local audience.

Make your Instagram business profile more attractive to a local audience by:

  • Including your location within your bio description
  • Adding your address to your Instagram profile—people can then click this to open up a map
  • Adding your local phone number to your Instagram bio
  • Mentioning where people can pick up their order

For inspiration, take a look at Tiny Paper Co’s Instagram bio. It displays the store address, phone number, and pick-up options—catering to the 30% of people who’ve used some form of buy online, pick up in-store fulfillment option over the past two years.

Optimizing your bio isn’t only useful for social media platform users; it’s also a great Instagram SEO hack. With these location hints in your profile, it’s easier for the algorithm to figure out that you’re relevant to a local audience—and therefore, show your content to people nearby (saving you from having to invest in ads).

2. Create tailored Instagram highlights

When someone lands on your Instagram profile, there are a few things they’ll notice straight away: your bio, your feed images, and your Story Highlights—the latter of which is an often overlooked feature that takes up a prime spot in your profile.

Think of your highlights section as a lookbook for your potential local customers to browse through. They can see examples of what you offer, customer testimonials, and lifestyle imagery that relates to the place you call home.

Not sure what to create highlights about? Consider your content strategy and what your audience comes to your page to see. Then think of a handful of categories you could turn into Instagram Stories Highlights, such as:

  • What’s in store this week
  • Local festivals and events
  • Customer testimonials and reviews
  • Location guides for your local area

As you share Stories, add any that are relevant to your highlights. You’ll soon have an always-visible collection of your best content. Chicago Explore, for example, breaks down its Instagram Story Highlights into activities its followers would enjoy grouped together by areas of the city.

3. Tag your location

Your Instagram bio isn’t the only place to share your store’s location. Instagram’s geotag feature is one of the best ways to discover and engage with a local audience. It allows you to find people based on their location, and makes it easier for people to find you, too.

“For every post you put out there on Instagram, use a geotag. This is the specific physical location of your business derived from your mobile phone,” says Ravi Davda, CEO of Rockstar Marketing. “If you want to build a local audience on Instagram, geotags are the way forward.”

Here’s how to use Instagram geotags to your advantage:

  • Find posts to comment on and engage with
  • Discover local content creators and influencers
  • Encourage people to share user-generated content by tagging your location
  • Add a geotag in your audience’s location—this is great if you want to target people in key cities before they visit for a vacation

Add these tactics to your local marketing strategy to acquire more Instagram followers in your local area. Combine them with other methods—like increased engagement with followers and giveaways—to drive customer growth.

4. Engage with people who have tagged your location

Find new local customers through the ones you already have. Make it a priority to seek out people who have tagged your location and engage with their content. If you make them feel special, they’re more likely to recommend you to others.

Be intentional with your engagement and try to avoid coming across as spammy. Your goal is to appreciate the Instagram user’s content in a natural way so they feel appreciated and valued. Avoid anything that might come off weird, like following all their friends or commenting on everything they post. Instead:

  • Like their post
  • Interact with their Instagram Story, if they’ve posted one
  • Comment on their post with something relevant and upbeat
  • Introduce them to your brand ambassador program, if you have one
  • Repost their Instagram Stories to your own profile with a thank you note

These simple steps only take a few minutes, but can help you build long-term relationships with local customers. Dedicate some time in your week to seeking these people out and engaging with them to grow your community naturally.

Pro Tip: Want a more efficient way to engage with Instagram followers? The Story Mentions Trigger feature inside Instagram Automation by ManyChat automatically thanks people for tagging your account in their own Story.

5. Work with local influencers

The social media influencer industry is now worth a whopping $16.4 billion. It presents a growing opportunity for businesses that want to leverage influencers’ clout.

Working with local influencers is a powerful way to reinforce your presence in the community and reach a relevant audience. Noelle Downing, for example, got a free stay at The Plaza Hotel through a paid partnership with Amazon Prime Video. Noelle shared a photo to her Instagram account and geotagged the location it was taken at to bring attention to the two brands involved:

Not sure how to engage with local influencers? Take a look at these fun ideas for collaborative Instagram content:

  • Host an influencer and press event to launch a new product, experience, service, or menu
  • Shoot a lifestyle campaign together to cross-promote on your Instagram pages
  • Ask the influencer to co-host an event with you, such as a masterclass at your store
  • Partner on a sponsored contest in which you give away products created by local brands
  • Ask the influencer to style and showcase your product at key local landmarks
  • Partner on a mini city guide

There’s a real art to doing influencer marketing right. Come up with a strategy that suits your business, then find and approach local influencers about a collaboration. Work together to come up with a concept that works for you both, then engage throughout to see the best results.

6. Partner with other local businesses

Influencers aren’t the only people you should be collaborating with when attracting local customers on Instagram. Explore partnerships with other nearby businesses to create amazing opportunities for you both to grow.

Sweetride Bake Shop, for example, tagged three other local businesses in its recent Instagram post. There’s a good chance that these brands will repost the content to their own profiles, increasing brand awareness for each company in the group.

Partnering with local businesses is a winning opportunity for everyone. Each party gets exposure to a slightly different audience and the opportunity to pick up some new customers. Your audiences also get to learn about another small business to spend money with. This creates a positive ripple effect through your community.

7. Run a collection-only giveaway

Giveaways are a powerful way to grow your audience on Instagram. They help you grow your following, increase engagement, and raise brand awareness with the right people.

Tailor this Instagram hack for a local audience by making your giveaway collection-only—like Colone Saab, which hosted a contest to give a free Mother’s Day meal to one of its nearby Instagram followers.

Want to help your giveaway reach a more specific audience? Here’s how to produce an Instagram contest that reaches the right people:

  • Specify that the prize must be collected in person
  • Offer a prize that’s only available locally—like tickets to a festival, concert, or show
  • Ask a local influencer with a relevant audience to promote the giveaway
  • Run Instagram ads promoting your giveaway to a local geographic audience
  • Ask people to head to your store to earn a bonus entry

There’s no way to stop people outside your target area from entering your giveaway, but these tips should help you reach a more relevant audience. Once you’ve run one successful giveaway, you can repeat the process again in the future. Change the prize and wording to keep it fresh.

8. Engage with local hashtags

We all know that using Instagram hashtags is a great way to expand your reach and expose your content to others. However, they’re also a valuable source of content that you can engage with for a bonus way to raise awareness of your brand.

Try these tactics to engage with local content in relevant hashtags:

  • Like someone’s post within the hashtag community
  • Ask if you can re-share someone’s post in a hashtag round-up
  • Leave a comment with a question to start a conversation
  • Visit someone’s profile and like their latest post

The key with hashtag engagement is to find the right ones. Take a look at influencers and businesses around you, see which specific hashtags they use, and make a master list. This can be your go-to place to look for relevant content and accounts to build relationships with.

9. Support other local creators and businesses

Your Instagram account doesn’t exist on an island. You’re surrounded by multiple amazing creators and businesses that also have a presence on the platform. Embrace that community spirit and support the businesses around you by:

  • Liking and commenting on their Instagram posts
  • Re-sharing local followers’ content to your own Stories
  • Tagging the business when responding to someone looking for a recommendation
  • Working with local influencers and paying them a fair rate

If you’re generous about sharing other people’s content and recommending local businesses, people will soon start to return the favor. Not only will you get introduced to new audiences, you’ll be known for your warm attitude toward business and community.

10. Partner with or sponsor a local event

Most communities have annual events that attract a crowd and create a genuine feel-good atmosphere. A great way to build your presence in the local area is to get involved with one of these popular or trending events and promote it on Instagram, like this post from LCB Festival:

A post shared by London Craft Beer Festival (@lcbfestival)

Try these ideas to support local events:

  • Buy a sponsorship or exhibition package
  • Host a VIP, demo, or networking area at the event
  • Provide your products at a discount to feature in goody bags
  • Recommend your favorite suppliers and vendors
  • Offer to share your knowledge or expertise—e.g., email marketing or digital marketing
  • Host a giveaway for event tickets
  • Run a special promotional offer to celebrate the event

Not all these ideas translate directly  to your Instagram content, but being active in your local events scene helps show that you care.

Research shows that 58% of brands think their customers are more loyal because of the branded community they’re a part of. While building a community presence might not result in immediate sales, people who share similar values to your brand will have your products top-of-mind next time they need something.

11. Host an Instagram takeover

We’ve talked about how partnering with businesses and influencers can help attract local customers. Take this a step further and create a real buzz of activity by hosting an Instagram takeover.

An Instagram takeover is when someone “takes over” your account for the day—either live or by providing the content in advance. They call the shots (within reason!) when it comes to content, sharing Instagram Stories and engaging with your business’s audience through comments and live video. Here’s an example from The Vinyl:

Successful Instagram takeovers benefit everyone involved. Results can include a boost in followers, engagement, and other key metrics, depending on your goals and collaboration.

How to Promote Your Instagram to Get More Followers (& Customers!)

An impressive 81% of people use Instagram (IG) to research products and services. 50% of people have visited a brand’s website to make a purchase after seeing a product or service there.

Instagram marketing clearly has a ton of potential when it comes to growing a business. Not only can you get your business in front of more people and expand your following, but you can consistently turn a percentage of those followers into customers. What does it take to do this, though?

In this post, we’ll talk about:

  • The foundation of Instagram marketing
  • 8 free ways to promote your Instagram
  • 4 additional ways to promote your Instagram with advertising

The foundation of Instagram marketing

Before we get into methods of promoting your IG account to gain followers and customers, let’s clear one thing up. None of the methods to follow will work if you don’t:

  1. Post content that’s interesting and relevant to the people you want to attract
  2. Post consistently to keep people engaged and excited to see what you’ll be sharing next

If you fail to do either, you could end up with a “dead” account that your followers have completely forgotten about or rarely engage with. You may also end up hanging out with the wrong audience (e.g., people who are unlikely to ever become customers). In either case, these outcomes are obstacles to long-term success.

So, before anything else, get quality content production and your publishing schedule down pat. It will make your Instagram promotion that much more effective.

How to promote your Instagram for free

Once you have the right foundation for successful Instagram marketing, you can test out various ways of attracting attention to your account, gaining the right kinds of followers, and guiding them toward becoming customers.

A good deal of your Instagram growth will likely come from promoting your account on the platform itself, although we’ll also cover other places you can advertise it. So how can you get more eyes on your account and fingers tapping that follow button? Here are eight free ideas to get you started.

1. Tag, tag, tag!

Social media—Instagram included— is all about being social. What better way to be social than to use Instagram’s tagging functionality. Not only can you tag specific followers when it makes sense, but you can also tag other brands. This can get more people engaging with your posts and interested in what you do.

Additionally, you can also tag your posts with locations. When you do, they show up in search results for the locations you tag. This can lead people to your brick-and-mortar location, help you connect with potential customers or partners at events, or just earn you a follow now and the opportunity to nurture a future customer’s interest later.

2. Choose your hashtags wisely

There’s a hint of bias against hashtags. What’s to blame? In part, people using 30 hashtags per post. The same goes for the folks using irrelevant or sketchy hashtags just to gain attention (#like4like and #followme, we’re looking at you…).

But, when used properly, hashtags can help more people to discover your business. To use them the right way, do your research on hashtags, including:

  • What hashtags your competitors are using.
  • What hashtags your audience uses when searching for content related to your industry.
  • What hashtags are relevant to your business but not as crowded, giving you the potential to stand out.

This will give you some solid options to test out on your upcoming posts.

Additionally, if you plan to encourage user-generated content, you could create a branded hashtag that people can use when posting about your business. This can create buzz about your business and increase your following. Plus, it gathers together all content created by your audience in support of your business, which can persuade people to follow and buy from you.

3. Encourage user-generated content

User-generated content (UGC) can give you an edge like no other. Unlike testimonials that are posted only by you, for instance, Instagram UGC is often posted on users’ accounts also. The benefit? You’re introduced to their followers. But that’s not all.

Future followers and customers trust the recommendations of friends, family, and connections. They’re more likely to believe the positive things your supporters say about your business than what you say about it. In other words, each piece of user-generated content is a vote of confidence that belongs to you and only you.

You might have a similar product or service as a competitor, sure. But no competitor will have that specific video of an enthusiastic customer raving about their experience with you or that unique snapshot of someone genuinely enjoying your product. So encourage people to create content showing off what they love about your business.

4. Use Instagram Video

Especially if you’re already creating videos for Youtube or another channel, it’s a smart move to make use of Instagram Video. With the head of Instagram announcing in June 2021 that the platform will be focusing more on video going forward, there’s no time like the present to get started (speaking of time, you may be interested in the best time to post to Instagram).

If you do, people who previously knew little to nothing about your brand could be introduced to it through IGs topic-based recommendations. This is incredibly valuable when you realize that it may be the only effective way to reach a certain segment of your audience on Instagram.

After all, some people strongly prefer video content, especially with the rise of platforms like TikTok. So you’re much more likely to reach them using Instagram Video than by only posting photos or stories to your account.

5. Cross-promote on your other social sites

Is your business active on other social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, or TikTok? If so, reuse your Instagram content! While you should, of course, adapt it to perform well on each platform, cross-posting and promoting your Instagram content can be the motivation people need to check you out there.

Don’t be afraid to share your best IG photos and videos, share the link to your profile, or even to directly invite people to connect with you on IG.

6. Spotlight your Instagram profile on your website

People exploring your site are already curious about your business to some degree. A great way to satisfy that curiosity—in addition to informative website copy—is to direct them to your social media accounts, Instagram included. Seeing how you engage with your audience and getting to know the people behind your business can move them closer to making a purchase.

So include social icons on your website or, even better, embed your Instagram profile. That way, people get a taste of the kind of content you post and may be motivated to follow you.

7. Include the link in your marketing emails

Doing email marketing? Include the link to your Instagram profile (and any other active social media pages you have) in your footer. And, when it makes sense to do so, draw attention to your IG specifically to spark future followers’ interest in what you’re doing there.

8. Mention your account in person

The in-person route can take many forms. For example, you could mention your Instagram handle:

  • On the signage at your brick-and-mortar store if you have one.
  • On your business cards or flyers.
  • While chatting with customers at your physical location.
  • While talking with others on a day-to-day basis about what you do.

All of the above can not only earn you more followers but also earn you repeat and new customers.

4 paid ways to promote your Instagram

You may want to take your Instagram marketing to the next level and promote your account with a little bit of budget. There are some easy and cost-effective ways you can do that. Here are four paid ways to promote your Instagram to get more followers.

1. Do exciting giveaways and contests

Giveaways and contests are a great way to get people to engage with your business and draw attention to it as a result. For example, you could do an Instagram giveaway that requires people to follow and tag a couple of friends to enter.

Imagine how much exposure your business could gain in a short time with this method. And beyond just being seen, you’d also have future opportunities to build relationships with your new followers, which could then turn into sales!

2. Try influencer marketing

What’s more powerful than self-promotion? Being promoted by others. Especially when they already have the attention and trust of the people you want to connect with via Instagram. This highlights the value of working influencers, which can dramatically accelerate your growth on IG.

The great thing is that you don’t need to partner with a megastar like The Rock to succeed with influencer marketing. Research has shown that micro-influencers—those with less than 100K followers—have much higher engagement rates than people with millions anyway.

Plus, micro-influencers tend to have more focused content, which attracts a dialed-in, highly interested audience. As a result, if your business aligns with what an influencer stands for and who they create content for, their audience is likely to respond positively to learning about you.

3. Run paid promotions

If you have the budget to run paid promotions through Instagram ads, go for it! That is, if you know your audience well enough to create an attractive ad that’ll get you a return on your investment. (If you can’t use Instagram’s ad targeting options to get your promos in front of the right people and/or can’t execute on the creative side of things, you run the risk of losing money.)

On the flip side, if you’re well prepared to try your hand at Instagram ads, they can give your business a nice boost–especially when used with organic efforts.

4. Promote your Instagram in print

If you’re doing direct mail marketing or are putting any sort of paper in the hands of potential followers and customers, take full advantage of the opportunity.

Don’t just let people know that you’re on Instagram. Make it as easy as possible for them to check you out and follow you. For example, create an Instagram QR code that people can scan to go directly to your profile.

18 Ways to Get Clients on Instagram for Free

You've heard that Instagram has your clients... but how do you get them if you're not a mom on maternity leave, a personal trainer, and a pretty blonde? You are first and foremost an entrepreneur. So is it worth trying?

Of course it's worth it!

Look at the accounts of Genius Marketing or Olesya. They are created to attract our potential clients - entrepreneurs - and are promoted without cheating, mass following or mass liking. All subscriber growth is organic. Do you want the same results?

Follow these 18 tips to transform your account in no time:

1.

Create a clear strategy

Before you start attracting subscribers, determine what you want to tell them. Think over the main theme of your account and the goals you want to achieve with it.

Create a content plan for the next month. Write briefly what you say in the posts. See how they reveal or complement your chosen topic. You will clearly understand who your account is aimed at and how you will attract targeted subscribers.

Promotion experts told how to create a content plan for Instagram.

2. Research your competitors

Next, find out what is already being written about your topic. Find 3-5 main competitors of and study them. Find out:

  • what is the situation with subscribers in your niche;
  • what types of content are popular and what kind of response they receive among subscribers;
  • the frequency with which your target audience expects posts to be published;
  • how competitors interact with your potential audience.

Ready? Use this information further and update it periodically.

3. Check your profile design

A profile is the first and most important touch with new subscribers. So before moving on, answer a few questions:

  • Do you use keywords in your name and login?

These two fields are indexed by Instagram, so think carefully about them. How do you want your target followers to find you?

For example, we have the keyword "marketing" in both the login and the name. It is on it that we focus on attracting subscribers:

  • Is your profile picture simple, clear and bright? Do you want to click on it?

Forget about various inscriptions, because the picture itself is small, and in the comments it is several times smaller.

  • Does the description reveal the value of your content to new subscribers?

Write short abstracts, add emoticons, use this field to the maximum.

  • Do you have a single clickable link active?

Add the address of your website or social media profiles (Vkontakte, Facebook and others), as well as a YouTube channel or a specific video. Update the link as needed.

If you answered “no” to any of these questions, it's time to start creating your profile.

4. Post daily

Train yourself to post every day 1-2 posts . Thus, you will maintain the activity of existing subscribers and attract new ones. What could these posts be?

  • ask a question and connect subscribers to active communication in the comments, for example, in this way:

  • tell your own or someone else's story and end it with a useful conclusion;
  • share an effective life hack that will make life easier for your subscribers;
  • show how your days go.

Post every day around the same time. You can do it yourself or use automatic posting services. The convenience of such services is that you can relax and not keep track of time. Or prepare a few posts in advance, format them and make sure that your subscribers regularly receive useful information, even when you are offline.

5. Use catchy photos

When preparing each post, pay attention to the quality and relevance of the picture. It should distinguish you from many other publications .

Get people interested so that they click on the photo and read your post, and then go to the page and subscribe. Take photos of yourself, capture everything around you, or share personal images. Try to avoid long-standing photos that you found using the search.

6. Add hashtags

You can add up to 30 hashtags to each post. With their help, your subscribers find you. Use as hashtags: interests and hobbies of your target audience, events and places where it happens. Write them in the comments (and not in the "body" of the post itself) in order not to draw too much attention to them. Use popular hashtags and come up with your own.

Go through the pages of your subscribers and competitors. Choose those who fit the idea of your target audience. Research the hashtags they use and add them to your posts.

Also, do not use hashtags: #likeforlike #Followme and others, as they attract untargeted followers.

Topic article: 5 myths about Instagram hashtags.

7. Add geolocation

Find out where your target audience is, and add them to your post. If you're blogging about travel, also tag the place you're blogging about. Show your potential followers that you have the same interests as them.

8. Add text to the photo

Catchy photos alone are not enough, there are already too many of them. And more and more people come to Instagram not to watch, but to read. You have 2200 characters in the photo description. Use them.

Try to fit all the text in the description. It is better to break the post into several parts, rather than publishing an additional 4-5 comments.

Remember that in the feed your subscribers see the first three lines . Give them special attention. You must interest the reader to read the entire text: add an appeal, ask a question, start telling a story and cut it off at the most interesting place.

9. Post multiple stories per day

Instagram allows you to post up to 30 stories per day. What is the benefit of this relatively new tool?

  • You can post different cool photos and videos while leaving your account within the selected topic.
  • Stories are always at the top of the page of your subscribers, and they see them immediately after entering the application;
  • By publishing stories not at once in a batch, but, for example, several times per hour, you are constantly closer to the top of the list.

Add captions, emoticons and stickers to your photo or video (they became available in one of the latest Instagram updates). You can also post not just a photo, but any photo in the last 24 hours. Convenient, right?

10. Post one live video per day

This is a new feature, but bloggers and entrepreneurs alike are starting to use it. Be in the forefront and use all the benefits to the fullest. Your live video will appear in the same line where the stories are placed, only next to the photo there will be an inscription live. And will always be at the beginning of the list.

What should be done?

  • Determine the time when most of your subscribers are online.
  • Post an announcement post in your account.
  • At the appointed time, go to stories and select live.
  • Start recording.

11. Mix different types of content

Don't let your followers get bored. Post different types of content in your account, namely, alternate:

  • video and photo;
  • posts with long photo descriptions and short quotes;
  • personal photos, landscapes, architecture;
  • business stories with posts about your holiday or family.

12. Follow other accounts

If you have recently created your Instagram account, then you have a small number of daily subscriptions - 20, 30, 40 per day.

Take the time to study new readers daily. And subscribe to those who are your target audience. In this way, you encourage them to respond more actively to your publications.

Also find your target followers with hashtags, geolocation and your competitors. You can subscribe to 50 people per hour. So go ahead!

13. Comment on your followers

Do you want your readers to be more active? Start chatting with them… in their account. Show interest, read posts, write comments. Just let's agree: mind you, without the attendants "super", "I like it", "well done."

Are you interested in such comments yourself? Or do you want to start a correspondence of comments that way for 30 to each post? Your subscribers want it too and will be grateful to you for such an opportunity.

Write detailed comments, ask questions start a discussion. This will draw attention to your account and your followers will become more active.

14. Comment on popular bloggers

It is always useful and important to know the interests of your target audience. Find bloggers your readers follow and start chatting with them in the comments. Train yourself to stand out from others.

A very good way to get attention: write something that most people disagree with . Get others to argue with you. The main thing at the same time is not to get personal and stay within the bounds of decency.

By the way, this is where the right profile photo plays a huge role. Is it bright and eye-catching? Super. This means that the likelihood of a transition and subscription to your account increases.

15. Share your profile

Reach as many potential customers as possible. Add a link to your account in the signature of your mailbox and on pages in other social networks. You can also send out a mailing list to the email address database and invite your followers to join you on Instagram.

Make it a rule: wherever your target audience may be, publish a link to your account.

16. Connect statistics

Do you want your posts to instantly gain a lot of likes and comments? Post them when most of your followers are online . To do this, connect statistics to get access to this data.

In my case, it's best to post at 10:00 and 17:00. And on Thursdays and Saturdays, pay special attention to the records and give all kinds of “goodies”. What do your statistics show?

In order to connect statistics to Instagram, you need to create a page on Facebook, and then switch to the company profile: How to view statistics on Instagram0026

17. Use advertising

The easiest and most effective way to reach your target subscribers is through advertising. Correctly define the audience, write a short catchy text - and you're done.

Advertising on Instagram is just beginning to develop. Remember how many ads usually slip through your feed? 1-2 max. This means that readers are not overloaded with advertising messages and are more loyal to them.

18. Take part in marathons and flash mobs

What are the benefits of such events? First, only "live" people participate in them. You won't see any ad accounts here.

Secondly, you can show yourself and look at others. Participants of marathons and flash mobs are open to communication, , so it is very easy to establish friendly relations with them. And if you write interesting posts as part of these events, then the growth of subscribers is guaranteed to you. And these will be active target subscribers.

Also, post reviews of the events you attend. This is a good way to attract subscribers from one "hangout".

For example, we have the hashtag #intensivegm, where you can find many of our students. If you have been trained with us, add an entry. This will allow new students and interested entrepreneurs to find you and possibly follow your account.

Conclusion

In order to achieve fantastic results on Instagram, you need to:

  • increase the activity of existing subscribers;
  • comment on posts by your target audience or popular bloggers;
  • to take part in various "movements";
  • daily publish posts, stories, live videos.

Instagram loves active users. If your posts get likes quickly, he is always willing to promote them. There are no secrets or tricks here. Only analysis of competitors, study of statistics and constant work on improving your profile.

Hello everyone from Madwins SMM team! We have prepared a considerable number of options to attract customers. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with all of them and put them into practice without delay. So!

Commenting on top bloggers

This is the case when in your free time you can do something simple, but at the same time useful. Find top bloggers who have your target audience and appropriately comment on their publications so that you are noticed. If someone likes the opinion, then it is quite realistic to expect likes, transitions to your profile and subscriptions. And for you - live traffic!

Advertising with bloggers in stories

Feel free to place your ads in stories with famous bloggers. Most importantly, monitor your target audience well. What is good is the abundance of options for presenting your ad: with eyeliner, without eyeliner, 1-2 or 3 stories. The choice is yours, it all depends on your budget!

Advertising with bloggers in the feed

This method undoubtedly works, but its high cost distinguishes it from stories. In this case, you need to be careful and test everything. The text, picture, or the blogger's audience may not be yours. So, test, test and test again!

Advertising with bloggers through barter

Barter is something that is always relevant, so you can safely take it into service. You give them a product, service, and they give you traffic. Don't forget to prepare your site properly so as not to drain the gifts.

Advertising in public stories

We all remember that in addition to bloggers, there are also publics. There the price is cheaper, as there is less involvement, but as a promotion tool, it works well!

Advertising in the public feed

Quite an adequate price in the public feed. We advise you to choose a good public, with a quality audience and engagement. Otherwise, you can lose your "hard earned".

Marathons

You are the owner of a product, good or service. Launch a marathon for the target audience and give the winners gifts related to the main product. And the target audience that participates in the marathon and completes tasks is warmed up by your product. The main thing is that the tasks are targeted.

Giveaway

A raffle or a quiz, in order to participate in which it is necessary to fulfill a number of certain conditions, is called a giveaway. To begin with, learn how to involve the audience in your profile, and then you can conduct draws. Cheap subscribers, unsubscribes for 2-3 months and a lot of work after the giveaway to restore activity. But, if you involve - it's only a plus!

Hashtags

They are the main search tool on Instagram. Write keywords related to your services/products. Don't forget to use them, but don't overuse them either. There is no extra traffic to your account!

IGTV

This is a video hosting of vertical videos, one hour long, which can be viewed both from Instagram itself, through the new IGTV application, and through a computer. We shot a video - post it, and it will be visible in the feed from above. Extra attention to you!

Geo-locations

Don't forget to mark geo-locations! They allow you to reach more audience in the place from which you posted the publication or story.

SFS

Shout out for shout out SFS can be a great way to promote on Instagram for free and help you quickly gain a lot of followers. For example, a blogger organizes a contest: “Tell a story in your profile, link to me. I will publish the best stories on my page.” Thus, get free advertising (if your story becomes the best, of course).

User mark

By tagging bloggers and friends on related topics, you can expect them to link to your posts in their stories in return. Hence the traffic!

Below is an example where a girl drew a portrait of a famous blogger and tagged him under her post (Fig. 1). In response, the blogger mentioned the post of her subscriber in the story and kept it up to date!
