Wie können wir unsere Website weiter verbessern?Instagram serves a global community of more than 1 billion people who are active every month. People use Instagram to share moments, find passions, be inspired and take action.
Instagram can help businesses of every size find customers and grow. With an Instagram business profile, businesses can promote their products and services to a global audience of people who are most interested in what they do.
Instagram business accounts have features and settings that can help your business reach more people, stay connected with them and boost sales.
Note: If you switch to a business account, you will no longer be able to set your account to private. You'll also only be able to share your Instagram posts to the Facebook Page already associated with your Instagram account. However, you can switch back to a personal account at any time.
When you create a business account, you'll be able to add an address field and contact buttons to your profile.
You can include directions, a phone number and an email address, which people on Instagram can use to get in touch with you.
With a business account, you'll have access to a simplified inbox ( Instagram Direct) to manage the messages people send you on Instagram. You can star conversations that you want to come back to, and filter messages from people you want to follow up with. Additionally, you'll be able to create and use templated responses ( quick replies) so you can respond to common questions quickly.
Get information on who your followers are, when they're online and how they interact with your photos and videos. By understanding when and how people interact with your content, you can increase opportunities for them to see it and take actions. You can also create more of what resonates with them.
Use the Promote tool to turn your Instagram posts into ads that can help grow your business. When you promote a post, it will appear as a sponsored post in Instagram stories or feed.
To get started, you'll need to have the Instagram app downloaded on your phone. Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to download the app.
To create a business account, you'll need to have an existing personal Instagram account. If you do not already have an Instagram account, you can create one here.
To switch your account to a business account:
This will make it easier to use all of the features available for businesses. Only one Facebook Page can be connected to your Instagram account. As you set up your free Instagram business account, here are a few things that you can do to make it easier for people to discover your business.
Simplicity works. We recommend using your business's logo or a graphic symbol. Your image will be cropped into a circle and appear as a small 150 x 150 pixel icon.
Choose an account name, ideally your business name, that's easily tied to your brand. Keep it short. The limit for usernames is 30 characters.
Learn more about account names in our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.
Create a short description of your business. You can include relevant hashtags to make your business more discoverable or add emojis to describe it visually.
Help people get in touch with your business by adding your website, email, phone number and location.

If you have a brand page on Facebook and a business profile on Instagram, be sure to link them together. This will not only give you four additional benefits, but also help you avoid trouble.
To do this, go to Page Settings, Instagram section and click the Connect account button.
After that, log in through Instagram, enter the login and password of the business profile you want to link.
Done, your account is connected!
Please note that in the same section at the bottom there is an option to disconnect Instagram from the current Page. To do this, simply click the "Disconnect" button.
Linking the resources of one company means getting several significant advantages.
It is very convenient when administrators, editors and moderators can see and reply to all messages and all comments on Facebook and Instagram in the Facebook Pages section.
By linking these two resources, you can post to Instagram from a Facebook Page and vice versa.
It is convenient to do this in the Creator Studio section. And the most important plus: you can schedule posts on Instagram. Up to this point, the issue with auto-posting on Instagram was difficult, you had to use third-party services. Read about Creator Studio in our article.
You can post and schedule feed and IGTV. And Stories are still the old fashioned way, with pens.
You can create ads on Instagram through Facebook Ads Manager without linking your Instagram business profile. You may not even have an Instagram account, this is an optional condition. In this case, ad impressions in Instagram placements will be on behalf of your Facebook Page.
But once you've linked your Facebook Brand Page and Instagram Business Profile, you can:
Page administrators and editors can synchronize the phone number, email address, address from the Facebook Page and these changes will be reflected in Instagram.
In practice, there is often a situation when you need to link these 2 resources, and the Instagram business profile is already linked to another Page.
This happens when you didn't provide a valid Facebook Page when you migrated your personal Instagram profile to a professional account. Facebook automatically created the Page, the name of the Page in this case repeats the name of the Instagram account. At this point, a Business Manager is also automatically created. This Business Manager will own the automatically generated Facebook Page and your Instagram business profile.
What do I need to do to link my Instagram business profile to the correct Page?
For the above actions, you will definitely need a login and password from your Instagram account and administrator rights on the Facebook Page.
