How to create a motivational page on instagram
Instagram Success Tips: Generate 700-1000 Followers Every Week
So, you want to know how to be successful on Instagram? While there are over 800 million monthly active accounts, being an Instagram success story is still possible.
You will be required to put in a lot of work and effort, but the outcome is worth it.
Doing so will help your account stand out and gain a targeted following. For the last few weeks, I’ve been gaining over 700 new followers every few days.
This is down to several strategies which I’ll be explaining in this article, including how I use Sked (formerly Schedugram) to plan, create, and automatically publish content. The best thing of all, these can be applied to both personal and business accounts.
Are you ready to be an Instagram success?
- Create the perfect bio
- Produce interesting content
- Post regularly
- Identify top hashtags
- Utilise Instagram Stories
- Take advantage of Instagram Highlights
- Cross promote friends and influencers
- Go Live on Instagram
- Engage with your followers and targeted audience
1.
Create the Perfect BioBefore anything, you first need to make sure your Instagram bio is attractive. It needs to be able to tell your audience who you are, what you do and includes a clear call-to-action.
This is mandatory to becoming an Instagram success. Your targeted audience won’t follow you if they aren’t interested in what you have to offer and being able to tell them that within a few words is important.
Check out the below examples to get inspiration for your Instagram bio to help achieve Instagram success.
MyProtein’s Instagram Bio
As you can see from the above screenshot, MyProtein explain who they are, how you can get involved and lastly giving them some sort of value by entering their competition to win their products for free. Clear, attractive and informative.
Creation Agency Instagram Bio
Creation Agency’s Instagram bio consists of what the agency does, who they are, what they have to offer on the platform by following and also a few links for extra information. The last link takes you directly to the latest blog post.
My Instagram profile bio consists of who I am, what I do, where I’m going next and a clear call-to-action to follow on Facebook.
Straight away you will be able to identify what type of content I would likely post. This is exactly what you need to do so your targeted audience have an actual reason to follow you.
You also get one clickable link that you can add to your profile, so it’s worth putting some thought into how best you can use it. Many brands use it to link to their websites but that may not be the most beneficial way to use it.
One way you can get more mileage out of your profile link is to use a redirect URL. It’ll allow you to send traffic to any web page you want, every time you post. It’s a great way to promote different offers to your followers and the good news is, you get three branded redirect URLs for free with every Sked account as a part of the app’s link-in-bio feature.

2. Produce Interesting Content
Now you have got a quality Instagram bio sorted for your account, it’s time to think about your content plan.
If you create low-quality boring content that just really sucks and isn’t attractive, too many words and not interesting to your audience, don’t expect to be an Instagram success.

There are lots of tools available on the web and app stores that will help you create striking content. When I’m not using Photoshop, I’ll tend to use tools like Canva, Adobe Spark Post, Typorama or other tools on the web.
In fact, if you haven’t tried it yet, Sked’s Canva integration is a great way to add graphic design elements to your images and give them an extra ‘wow’ factor before scheduling them to post automatically.
To get started, log into your account, click on the ‘Upload posts’ option, then ‘Create banner with Canva’. This will open the Canva integration, as in the image below.
Next, upload an image (see green arrow above) and let your creativity take over using Canva’s wide range of drag-and-drop tools. You can add text, borders, frames, backgrounds, shapes, and more … the options really are limitless.
Once you’re happy with your design, click on publish, fill out your caption and first comment, then add it to your queue or schedule it to post on a specific time/date.

3. Post regularly
Posting regularly is one of the ingredients on how to be an Instagram success. This requires you to be very active. Ideally, you should be posting a least once a day.
If you can post more than that, 2-3 times a day will get you the most reach and engagement, especially to grow your account.
While it can be a pain to post several times a day, Sked comes in handy for this and automates your posting.
Just set-up your content queue and add the Instagram content. To do this, open your account and click on the ‘Setup queue’ option on the homepage.
Next, select your account, enable your queue (see green arrow below), and choose your timezone (red arrow). Then, click the ‘Add’ button for the days you want to post and set the time (blue arrow).
Now, when you add a post to your queue, Sked will automatically post it for you when your preferred time comes around.
I would also recommend identifying the best time to post on Instagram.
This also applies to Instagram Stories. You should be utilising that feature mostly every-day or when you have the chance to show off interesting content.
You could also make use of Instagram stories by promoting your latest content, telling your audience you have uploaded a new post (and in case you didn’t know, you can schedule images and videos to post automatically to Instagram Stories using Sked, too).

4.
Identify Top HashtagsThroughout my time managing various Instagram accounts I’ve come across a lot of businesses making silly little mistakes on Instagram that really affects their chance of growth and being an Instagram success.
These little mistakes can be anything from using no hashtags to a bunch of random non-related hashtags to even no caption!
When sharing content on Instagram, it’s vital you utilise Instagram hashtags. The reason being you will maximise your chances of reach, engagement and potential growth.
For all content I share on the platform, I make sure to use up all 30 hashtags – this gives me maximum exposure.
I also make sure to do regular in-depth keyword research to find the best hashtags that will give me the chance of being featured in the top nine posts.
Instagram hashtag keyword research is very important. If you get it right and manage to rack up a lot of engagement within a short period of posting, you may even hit the explore page.
If I were you, I would start doing Instagram hashtag research and then use Sked’s hashtag manager to keep them organised. You can use it to store all your hashtags separately or in groups, which is really handy if have more than one account to manage.
It’s much easier than storing them in Evernote and having to copy-paste them all the time. If you haven’t tried hashtag manager yet, take it for a test drive and see what you think.

5. Utilise Instagram Stories
Instagram Stories can be used in various ways. It’s a brilliant feature that should be utilised regularly. Especially when your account surpasses 10,000 followers which enables you to start adding hyperlinks within your stories.
This is a fantastic way to drive more traffic and generate more business from Instagram.
You should also create polls on Instagram stories to find out specific information about your followers, for example, what type of content they prefer.
Using this feature to announce a new post is also a great strategy, as a result, you will see an increase in engagement much faster.
And you can use Sked to schedule image and videos posts to publish automatically to Instagram Stories, as well as to add clickable links. To find out how to enable story posting for your account, check out this article.

6. Take Advantage of Instagram Highlights
Taking advantage of Instagram’s recent update which includes the ability to display story highlights on your profile, is the perfect strategy for increasing website traffic.
You might consider creating a few highlights to promote and encourage your audience to follow you on other social networks.
You may decide to create a few product highlights including a hyperlink to directly buy the product or service. Use your creative mind to find interesting unique ways to increase traffic, engagement and follower growth – all of which will help you become an Instagram success.
Back to Content Menu
Cross promoting contribute to Instagram success if done right. Make use of your other social accounts to help grow your Instagram.
Share your Instagram updates on your Facebook or Twitter, consider even showcasing your Instagram uploads on your website – ASOS do a great job of this to promote their clothing. You can also automate your Instagram uploads directly to your Twitter by using tools like IFTTT.
Depending on how big your account is, you should consider connecting with large accounts and Instagram influencers, ask them if they would be willing to collaborate.
However, if your account is nowhere near the same size nor the engagement ratio, then you should really consider providing value before you drop that ask.
I’ve done this plenty of times and it has really helped with follower growth and engagement. This strategy can also be done via Instagram Stories and is quite effective.

8. Go Live on Instagram
Instagram Live can bring in a lot of engagement and new followers, especially if you provide value and share it across your social channels.
If you promote it before-hand using hashtags in your story and posts you’ll most likely gather a few new interested followers wanting to see what you have to offer.
Instagram Livestreams are great for driving traffic too if your Instagram Live has racked up a lot of viewers, considering dropping in a few call-to-actions such as telling them to click the link in your bio for exclusive content.
Your Instagram Live should be interesting to your audience and that can be achieved by sharing what happens behind-the-scenes.
You could also do weekly or monthly question and answer streams, these are great for your audience to get to know you more and for you to find out what your audience likes to know about you, giving you more ideas for content.
Back to Content Menu
9. Engage with Your Followers and Targeted Audience
Ultimately, being an Instagram success on Instagram also comes down to how you engage with your followers.
If you show that you are an actual human behind that profile picture and actively reply to your audience’s comments and direct messages regularly they will be more likely to engage with your content and recommend you to their friends, family and followers.
This also applies to engaging with your followers content.
Leaving a few likes, comments and following back your audience will help build positive healthy relationships encouraging engagement and trust. This can be very effective when engaging with targeted audiences. I’ve found this one of the best ways to grow my accounts.
When I’ve identified targeted accounts or competitors that have a large following, I’ll visit their followers and engage with their content providing it’s suitable.
This is very effective as they will receive a notification each time I engage with their account. For the best results, I would highly recommend spacing out your interactions.
For example, I tend to like a few of their pictures, then 10 minutes later I’ll leave a comment, 20 minutes after that I’ll possibly follow them.
This will give them three notifications all at different times, of which they would probably want to find out who I am. You will have a better chance of them checking out your profile.
If they do and they like what they see, they may engage with the content on my account and potentially drop a follow. That’s how great relationships with a targeted audience are then built.
However, I wouldn’t just stop there.
You should continually engage with them whenever you see their posts in your feed.
This will keep them engaging back with your content unless they already do. The more “human-like” your account is, the more engagement and interaction you may receive.

Why Are Growth Services Losing Their Impact?
Why is that happening?
You may be able to increase your followers and likes by using a growth service. They are no longer valuable once they are acquired, but they are no longer valuable once they are acquired. People are no longer motivated to engage with your content, and their impact decreases.
What shall you do?
Simply focus on keeping your current followers and likes. You must ensure that your posts are timely and relevant, and that they provide valuable and engaging content.
Shoot Instagram Reel
A reel is a short video on Instagram that you can create using photos and videos from your camera roll. You can add music to your reel, and edit it to make it look the way you want. Reels can be up to 30 seconds long, and you can share them with your followers or on your story.
Instagram Reels is a feature-rich app for creating video clips that can be used to add audio, music, and other visual effects. You can also use your audio in a variety of ways by recording a reel with live audio. The TikTok community has seen a surge in user numbers since January 2021, when over 62 million users joined. Instagram Reels is a welcome addition to the Instagram platform’s features, allowing users to share Reels with the entire Instagram community. 40 examples + how to write
A motivational post is a kind of engaging post that encourages the user to take some action.
This is a very broad category, that is, the action proposed by a blogger can be anything from a comment to a post to a radical change in lifestyle. And we can talk about abstract things like inspiration, but most often the ultimate goal of such records is to sell a product or a personal brand.
Therefore, in the article I will tell you how motivational posts for an Instagram account will help, how to create them and give cool ideas for content.
Why motivational posts are needed
A motivational post can be written for any profile, regardless of its subject matter and specifics. For some bloggers, of course, this is easier, for example, networkers or psychologists. But they can peep ideas, formulations and be inspired (why not motivation?).
So, let's take a closer look at why we still need motivating posts on Instagram.
- Engagement
MP will be a great invitation to chat in the comments. And regardless of whether it contains a question to readers or not. As a rule, this is emotional (and often overtly manipulative) content that resonates with the audience.
- Audience Growth
People are willing to share motivational posts with friends and are generally active in broadcasting and interacting with such content. And what follows from the interaction with the publication? That's right - her hit in Interesting, and with that, an increase in coverage.
- Loyalty
Motivational content usually implies a blogger's credibility. That is, listen to his opinion. The tone of the publication may be different depending on the direction of the profile. For example, networkers often choose friendly, and professional experts - more mentoring. In any case, this is a person (or organization) whose opinion is trusted.
- Selling a product or service
All goals pursued when publishing motivational content are interconnected and work consistently. Engagement grows -> audience grows -> loyalty grows -> sales grow.
How to create a POST OF MOTIVATION
Since the concept is very broad, I will not make step-by-step instructions, but will list the main distinguishing features and criteria by which such publications are compiled.
1. Goal
Ask yourself what exactly you want to get as a result of MP. This can be an increase in reach and engagement of the audience, promotion of a blog, an increase in the audience's trust in you, the sale of a product or service, etc. Even completely innocent inspiring posts on Instagram, with a competent approach to them, will work in your favor in the long run.
2. Visual
A motivational publication is not only text, but also a picture that will draw attention to it. The fact that it should be of high quality and original, I think, is understandable. But it is also necessary that the image matches the theme of the blog and at least minimally the content of the text.
3. Format
It can be a traditional “picture+text” post, a video or, for example, a carousel of key messages. It all depends on your ingenuity and suitability for the occasion.
4. Text
The title (or the first paragraph) should immediately capture the user's attention and intrigue him before he has time to scroll the feed. For example, “5 rules for the life of a successful person” or “your future depends only on you”. In general, you understand the principle.
In the main part, bloggers, as a rule, write about their personal experience on the topic of publication or some of their own thoughts in the form of an essay. If we are talking about a conditional organization, then the essence of the initiative is written in the body of the text.
The volume of the base can be different. For example, bloggers-networkers like to write long and detailed posts, but in the accounts of professionals or companies they are much shorter. This is logical: people tend to trust living people rather than faceless organizations, therefore they are more ready for thoughtful reading of their texts.
The end usually contains a call to action: it, like the title, should be short, concise and catchy. But more about him below.
5. Call to action
Can be direct or indirect. As an option, use imperatives in the text, for example, “follow your dream” or “come to the opening of our store”. But, let's say, "we are waiting for you at the opening of our store" is also suitable, it's just that there is no imperative, but the call to action remains. In general, we have a separate article about this element.
Related:
Call to action: 4 formulas + 30 non-banal examplesIn general, a motivational post (like any other, by the way) should be written in a simple and understandable language, avoiding complex wording and bureaucratism. The text should be informative, easy to read and without a hitch. Avoid long overloaded sentences: it is better to break one such sentence into several short ones.
For each thought - a separate paragraph, for convenience, paragraphs are separated by empty lines. To attract attention and emotional coloring, use emoji, but, as usual, everything is good in moderation - further on the examples you will see why.
And, of course, the text should be emotional and win over the reader.
Ideas for writing
PM are both direct and veiled, and the authors of such publications have completely different goals. Someone sincerely wants to sow a reasonable, kind and eternal, for someone it is part of an advertising strategy (however, one does not interfere with the other). Someone motivates the audience for actions or interaction with the profile, and someone for motivation. Yes, that happens too.
I have collected a variety of examples, but the real storehouse of motivations is, of course, blogs of networkers. It is understandable, given the specifics of their work: if you don’t recruit a team and a sufficient number of sales, you won’t earn. I suspect that in network businesses there are even special courses on MT (not to mention motivation in general). Well, we will use their ideas.
As advertising
1. Horoscopes and predictions
A great way to intrigue and motivate your audience is to make a prediction post. As an example, I took a post from the Instagram app for horoscopes. But in general, engaging content of this kind can be made for a blog of any subject. Here, for example, it is proposed to explore the limits of their capabilities and move forward.
2. Treat yourself
The hairdresser in his blog encourages potential clients not to deny themselves the brightness and magic. Well, for this very brightness, of course, you can turn to her. The photo shows an example of what it might look like.
3. Bad advice
Motivation from the contrary: the author urges subscribers not to go into network business under any circumstances. However, he cites opposite things as arguments - how the network business compares favorably with ordinary life and the prospects that may be with a successful scenario of events.
4. Community initiative
Labels and musicians have teamed up and are calling on the audience to buy their releases on Bandcamp in order to donate the proceeds to human rights organizations. Firstly, here is the attraction of the audience's attention to the problem and the call to support human rights defenders. Secondly, (most likely unintentionally) image advertising of the participants of the initiative. Thirdly, there is a possibility that this publication will become a motivation for other independent labels to join the campaign.
5. Pre-order
The artist announces the release of his new book and announces pre-order - and most likely all copies were sold out before the release. The author of the post is a very famous contemporary artist, the circulation of his books is limited and, for example, his previous books are hard to find. So pre-ordering is practically the only way to buy this book, and at the same time recoup the cost of printing.
6. Event announcement
Charity concert announcement. The audience is motivated to attend the event, all proceeds from which will go to charity. The event is timed to coincide with March 8, and the funds raised will go to support the crisis center for women - that is, the occasion matches. In addition, given that the event is local and very niche, it is also an occasion to meet friends and listen to your favorite bands.
7. Connection with nature
A reminder to readers of the need to respect and connect with nature. The text contains a very soft call “let's go”, that is, readers will not return to harmony alone, but together with the brand. By the way, the brand, of course, adheres to pastoral aesthetics and ethical principles. The publication motivates not only to reunite with nature, but also to the so-called. slow fashion and ethical consumption.
8. Content from subscribers
The art store account asks subscribers to share photos of their palettes in order to publish the best ones later. In addition, it is unobtrusively offered to buy oil, which comes with a palette as a gift. The audience is involved, the product is advertised - profit!
9. Holidays
It's sacred: on a holiday, remind subscribers to buy gifts for their loved ones. And, accordingly, an idea for a gift is unobtrusively offered - a certificate for the studio.
10. Please support
The artist encourages subscribers to buy brooches to raise funds for the opening of the exhibition, which she organizes with her family - including tickets for family members whose work will also be exhibited. The motivation is more than worthy.
11. Question for subscribers
As well as a call for dialogue. The blogger sets the mood and atmosphere of the publication and thus motivates subscribers to support the game.
12. Invitation
The gallery unobtrusively (“do not forget to stop by”) invites people to the opening of the exhibition, and the artist who participates in this exhibition reposts the invitation: it is obvious that her audience is interested in coming.
13. Announcement and mailing list
Everyone likes to be the first to know what's happening - so the artist invites the audience (including potential buyers) to subscribe to her mailing list to be the first to know about new prints and works on sale.
Important. For mass mailing, we recommend using Notisend. The service automates the sending of letters via email, sms and push notifications. Notisend also allows you to compose a letter yourself or using a template. Click and test for free -> Notisend
14. Motivation not to give up
The blogger draws an analogy with children who are learning to walk: they fall and try again. In the same way, people in new endeavors can make mistakes, but there is no need to give up, because no one will do well the first time, and this is normal. In general, adults also need to make efforts and not give up in order to learn new things (in this case, to sell network business products).
15. Helpful Hints
A bookstore chain talks about book goals for the year and offers advice to the audience on how to achieve those goals—well, the more books a subscriber decides to read in a year, the more books they will buy from that same store chain.
16. An invitation to dream up
Another engaging post, where as subscribers they are motivated to participate by the probability of publishing the most interesting ideas - and also, of course, they play on the feeling of excitement.
17. Motivation to motivation
No, this is not a tautology. The bookstore account offers readers a selection of motivating books - and, in fact, hints at buying these very books in order to learn to be strong too.
18. Fighting stereotypes
The blogger motivates the audience to join the network business, arguing that this is not only an endless advertising of products and that the training focuses on the individuality of each manager. Everyone likes to feel special, right?
19. List
Lists of rules and algorithms of actions have a great impact on the audience, because organized information is perceived much easier. In this example, the blogger also duplicates information in the video - it turned out to be as intelligible as possible.

20. To shame the audience
To be honest, the first time it is not very clear what this text is about - but the author deftly manipulates the audience: they say, waste energy if you do not do what is necessary to achieve the result. And what needs to be done, she, obviously, will explain herself.
21. “There are no alternatives”
One of the ways to motivate by example. Firstly, the blogger writes that she did not give up after failures, and secondly, she emphasizes that she had no choice, because there is no passive income. Just like its target audience. True, she is of course a little disingenuous: for a small town, she is still quite a popular blogger.
22. Team support
Another post for those who doubt to join the blogger's team, where she promises unconditional support from mentors and the team. Well, that is, she does not directly talk about this, of course, but her own example works more efficiently than promises.
23. Deadlines
Anxiety manipulation: time flies, and you haven't done anything useful to make your dream come true. By the way, please note that the blogger addresses the reader directly in the second person - this enhances the effect of direct speech.
24. Manipulation and the promise of a quick result
Advertising of a product for weight loss: we again see the appeal to the reader (more precisely, to the reader) in the second person, imitation of direct speech, well, pressure on self-doubt (“I ate kilograms on holidays” ) and the promise of getting back in shape in just five days. Looks, of course, very tempting.
25. Share success
Motivation with money: to attract new people to his team, a blogger reports his income. For additional motivation, she hints that the amount of earnings depends on the person: “you decide the degree of your inclusion.”

26. Moral support
Pure motivational post: not only a promise that the reader will grow up sooner or later, but also a promise to help and support. Such a virtual pat on the head. And again an appeal to the reader directly.
27. Motivation for self-discipline
Another tricky move: encouraging slogans such as “believe in yourself and you can” do not work with everyone, so in this publication the author focuses on discipline and work: “I was able because I worked hard and you can ".
28. “I'm just like you”
The blogger reminds the audience that, despite the current success and beautiful pictures on instagram, this was not always the case. If she was able to achieve it, then others can too. Works flawlessly.
29. Analogies
Another post about the goal, work and discipline, but not abstract, but drawing an analogy with sports - for clarity. If your goal is to sit on the splits, train, and if you make a lot of money in network marketing, sell the product and recruit a team.
30. Personal experience
The blogger shares the story of how she came to the network business: they say that her path to success was gradual and went naturally thanks to responsibility and hard work. Another variant of motivation from the category “I am the same as you”.
31. I earn without straining
Everyone wants to live easily and beautifully and earn decent money without sitting in the office from morning till night. Here, in fact, the author of the post inspires readers with her own example, talking about how her day goes: fitness, self-development, a lot of time with the children, a couple of hours at the office and at a party. Just a dream.

32. Affirmations
Affirmations, impulses to the Universe and other household magic. Tips from a blogger on how to set yourself up for success and wealth: she says it helps her, which means that the audience (with due diligence) will help.
33. Reflection
Sometimes you can allow yourself to speculate - for example, about what a life's work is. And that quality is more important than quantity. And also about love for your work - in general, reflections and gentle parting words also work as motivation. At the very least, to chat in the comments.
34. Workaholism and burning
As in the previous example, the author talks about love for his work, but with completely different intonations: cheerfully, abruptly and almost aggressively. Pay attention to how the language in which the post is written and intonation affect the perception - if in the previous examples the blogger speaks with readers on an equal footing as good friends, then mentoring notes already appear here.
35. Testimonials
A personal example of a blogger is good, and testimonials from satisfied clients are even better, because the audience is more likely to trust ordinary people than those who have been successful for a long time and out of touch with reality (which is why bloggers so often remind that they went to success from the bottom). Since in this case we are talking about coaching, such publications will motivate subscribers to also buy the course.
36. Motivating or inspiring quote
Classical way, proven over the years. It is best to put the quote directly on the picture, as in the example: firstly, it attracts attention, and secondly, it serves as a headline. And yes, one picture with a quote is not enough - using an example, for example, a blogger develops an idea from a quote (of course, in a favorable direction for himself).
37. Ultimatum
A non-standard way of engaging content that needs to be used with great care - but if the manipulation works, it will shake the audience well. Here, apparently, the general tone of the blog allows you to sometimes use passive aggression - but, as you can see, the required number of likes has not been accumulated.
38. Role model
Standard technique for, for example, Nike. The recipe is simple: an inspirational quote plus a strong personality who has overcome a lot for the sake of his goal. Here, of course, we are talking about sports, but such a formula can be used for any type of activity.
39. Life hacks
I have already said that people love lists, where the order of actions is briefly and specifically described. Well, more than lists, people love life hacks - it’s not a fact that they will take advantage, but they will feel the motivation.
40. Self-love
A win-win situation is to encourage the audience to love themselves and take care of themselves. What, as they say, you just can’t do for the sake of love (for yourself).

Briefly about the main
Instagram motivational posts can be published on any blog, not only if you are a networker, psychologist or fitness trainer. And, of course, no one forbids making such publications, even if you do not plan to monetize your blog.
It just so happens that people love motivation and support, in whatever form it is expressed - so why not combine business with pleasure. The main thing, of course, is not to go too far, otherwise it is fraught with mental health problems for subscribers, but a couple of motivational posts a month will perfectly dilute the content plan.
And finally: such a publication will work if the thought in it is sincere. The ideas that I gave in the article are about the form, but you are already responsible for the content. Write about what you yourself believe. I hope this article will also serve as some kind of inspiration for you.

Tagged images
Instagram tags have changed the game. With the help of this tool, advertisers can attach a label to the product, which, when clicked, shows the name and price. Thus, the publication turns into a mini-landing and increases sales through Instagram.
In this post, Macy's featured shoes and a top. If a user clicks on a product, they will be taken to the product page on Instagram, from where they can go to the site.
Posts with tags allow the advertiser to show how the product looks on the model, and the user to quickly navigate to the site. This reduces the time it takes to make a purchase decision. In addition, such publications motivate the client to learn more about the product and brand.
Here's another great example from shoe manufacturer Allbirds:
Posts with multiple photos
Use an image carousel to tell a story about a product or brand. This type of publication makes it possible to be creative and demonstrate the proposal from different angles.
Airbnb uses an Instagram feed carousel to detail one of its super deals, a custom home in Idaho:
The exterior of the home is shown first. In the picture, the client sees not only the entrance, but also the surroundings.
This is followed by a photo of the interior. There is a sharp contrast to the first image here, both in color and content:
The next photo shows the rest of the house. The color scheme has changed again:
The images work together to create a realistic experience and allow the client to feel at home.
Animated images
Animated formats such as GIF or Boomerang also affect user engagement. They show the product in motion and reveal characteristics that are not always visible in a static image.
Here's how accessories brand Bellroy used GIF in a post:
It's impossible to see the tab feature of this wallet in a normal photo.
But it is not necessary to focus on the capabilities of the product. Weyerbacher Brewing used Boomerang in a post to show how two company employees drink beer:
This post is more attractive than a photo of glasses or a flyer for happy hours.
User-generated content
User-generated content strongly influences the purchasing decision. In the eyes of the audience, it is authentic, works as social proof, and shows that other people like the brand. On Instagram, such posts attract attention and increase engagement.
The added benefit is that the images are created by people, saving the brand time and possibly money. Track brand mentions and share product photos on your brand profile. When you post someone's photo, be sure to tag the user. So, you will show your gratitude.
Working atmosphere
Backstage photos, especially those taken by company employees, are popular on Instagram. Users are interested in seeing the business from the inside: who and how produces the product. If employees post such content on their site, share it on the brand account.
It is important that behind-the-scenes images are not staged: the people in them should not look awkward, the quality should not be “studio”.
DIY
Educational content and instructions are also popular on Instagram. Users love to find new ways to use a product, especially if the instructions are simple and engaging.
Even if you can only post a screenshot from the video with the result or the right tools, use it to motivate users to watch the full instructions on the site.
Ideal composition
Some images are more aesthetically pleasing and visually pleasing than others, and it is not always possible to determine why. But experts have conducted thousands of surveys and studies to figure it out.
According to Curalate research, here are some things to consider when choosing an image:
- Images with backgrounds are better than images without backgrounds;
- rich visual texture of objects in the photo attracts more attention; 90,271 images with one dominant color are more popular than those with multiple;
- blue images are more popular than red ones, and light ones are more popular than dark ones.
High-quality product images are more effective than photos that look like they were hastily taken with an old iPhone. Make sure that the photos are not blurry, and that the product is in the center of the composition.
Influencers
Influencers play an important role when it comes to social media promotion. If an influential blogger in your niche advertises a product, this will greatly increase user engagement.
If you collaborate with opinion leaders, tag them in a post so they can share it on their page.
Motivation
Motivational publications are generally liked by the audience. Nike has always used this technique effectively. The idea gained many followers, even separate Instagram accounts were created just for posting such quotes.
Motivational quotes are placed on a white background or overlaid on an image that is related to a product or brand. The authors recommend text overlay application - Quick. Try other tools from our review.
Motivational images tell how someone has achieved success despite obstacles. Think of strong people or charities that the brand is associated with. Such stories resonate with all users.
Contests and promotions
Users love posts with promotions or contests - everyone loves to win.
They increase engagement and generate new followers and leads.
Tria's post says subscribers have a better chance of winning as updates will be announced in a future post. So, more people will want to subscribe so as not to miss important news.
Holidays, events and trends
Mentioning significant cultural events, holidays, seasonal events is an opportunity to establish an emotional connection with subscribers and attract new users.
For example, Wendy's post about US Independence Day. They decorated the image in the colors of the American flag and offered a discount on a sandwich. They also used GIFs to show how sparklers burn.
