90,000 Black List on Facebook - where to find and how to look at 9000Communication on social networks implies privacy. We don't know who is on the other side of the screen. And in the list of friends are often people with whom they do not know in reality. Communication with such users can be uncomfortable. Facebook proposes to blacklist such people.
Let's take a closer look at this possibility ...
Content:

- Types of locks
- How to block user
- Option 1 - through settings in their profile
- Option 2 - through the user profile

- How to unblock
- Who has blocked you
How blocking works
New users often cannot find where this blacklist is located. This is due to the fact that there is no such term in the official Facebook terminology.
Types of blocking
Going into the profile settings, you can see a whole section "Block". This is where you can restrict communication with some users.
Restricted access - a list of users who cannot view your news and publications.
User lock is a real blacklist. Allows you to view the list of unwanted contacts. You can unlock them if you want.
Block messages - you will not receive messages or calls from these users.
Block invitations to applications - add applications through which no one can contact the user or learn about his actions in the application.
Page blocking - restriction of interactions with pages.
Facebook allows its users to choose the degree of restriction. It is possible to block individual contacts, as well as unwanted pages.
How to block a user
Why block at all?
The contact you added to the blacklist will not be able to:
- view your page;
- read new publications;
- make notes on photos or joint events;
- send messages:
- comment on the photo;
- add you as a friend.
It is worth knowing that if you and a blocked user are members of the same group or game, then your communication will continue there.
Important! If the user was on your friends list, then after blocking he will be removed from there. And he will not know that he was blocked - Facebook does not notify about this.
If you decide to block a user, there are two options for how to do this.
Option 1 - Through the settings in your profile
Procedure:
-
- Go to your personal profile, find the Down Arrow icon. It is located in the upper right corner.
- Select the "Privacy settings" section, and then "Settings" again.
- A new window will open. In the left column, click on the "Locks" icon.
- In the "User blocking" line, enter the name of the unwanted user or his email address.
- Facebook will offer options for matches by name. Among them, select the desired user.
- Activate the "Lock" button.
Option 2 - Through the user profile
Procedure:
- Find the person you need in the search bar.
- Find the "..." icon in the lower right corner.
- Select "Block".
- A window will appear where all the consequences of blocking will be listed. The system will prompt you to use the "Break in relationship" button.
- If this does not suit you, then click the "Confirm" button.
What is “Relationship break”
If you want to slightly limit the flow of information about a certain user from your friends list, then it is recommended to use this function. Applicable if there is no desire to abruptly interrupt communication.
What gives a break in a relationship:
- limit information about this contact in the news feed;
- restrict user's access to new publications;
- Restrict viewing of old posts.
Attention! Helps if a person actively promotes their Facebook profile and publishes a lot of uninteresting posts.
