How to Know If Your Instagram Account Got Banned

Wondering if your Instagram account has been banned? Here's how to tell and what to do about it...

Instagram and many other social media sites follow specific user policy terms to keep their users safe from inappropriate content and unpleasant incidents.

Because of this, sometimes seemingly normal actions could get your account banned.

So how can you tell if your Instagram account is banned? And what can you do to get it back? Here's what you should know...

Are You Banned From Instagram?

If you have been banned from Instagram, when you try to log in, you should get a message telling you that your Instagram account is disabled.

If you are unable to open Instagram and try to log in to see whether your account is banned, you can ask your friends to look up your account.

In reality, if you want to attract authentic traffic and genuine users to your account, it’s best to promote your account manually.

2. Linking Instagram with other social networks

It is a good idea to link your Instagram account with your other social media account. In case Instagram considers your account suspicious, linking to other social networks would make you seems more legit.

To link Instagram with other social networks, do the following:

  2. Under Options, go into for Privacy and Security > Linked accounts.
  3. Link to as many social networks as possible.
3. Complete your instagram profile
