Since Apple’s latest update to iOS 13 you can now customise your own emoji on WhatsApp – to illustrate yourself or, say, South African politicians.
"Memoji stickers allow you to customise your own emoji with anything from skin tones to freckles and hats. It then generates a set of standardised facial expressions for you to enjoy.
Go into WhatsApp and tap in the text box, which brings up the keyboard. Once you are in the keyboard, you'll need to tap the emoji icon next to the space bar. This will open your Apple emoji keyboard.

Swipe left and you should be able to find your frequently used stickers. Now select the "..." button.

Don't stress if you click "done" too early; WhatsApp saves the Memoji so you can edit it later.
Simply click on the avatar again and adjust to your preference.
It's a particularly useful feature if you're having a fat day or get sunburned, and need to adjust your Memoji accordingly.
Once you, or someone else, has generated your Memoji on an Apple device, an Apple iPhone iPhone 6S or later, you can send them via WhatsApp. From there, tap the image and save it to your favourite stickers by following the prompts and selecting "Add to Favorites" and you have custom emojis ready to use on Android.

Stickers are a quick and fun way to convey your thoughts and emotions to your WhatsApp interlocutor. But not always in the standard set there is the right option. In this case, you can try to create your own set of stickers that would reflect your individual reactions.
How to do this on an iPhone or Android phone is described in this material.

You can find many sticker apps in Google Play Store for Android. On the other hand, there are only a few such stores in the App Store for iPhone. In fact, you don't really need these third-party apps, and you don't need to be a developer or programmer to create your own sticker. nine0003
All you need is a few pictures and the Sticker.ly app, which is available for both iPhone and Android, takes care of the rest. The app has a smart background remover so you can create reaction stickers even based on your face. You will be able to surprise your friends with ingenuity.
To get started, download the Sticker.ly app on your iOS or Android smartphone.
The next step is to collect photos that you will use to create the sticker. Upload the images you want or take photos that are suitable for use as the basis of a future sticker. If you are creating a set of selfie-based stickers, try to use a neutral background when shooting. nine0003
1. Open the newly downloaded Sticker.ly app and click the "+" button on the bottom toolbar.
2. Here you can choose a name for your sticker, as well as identify yourself as the author. Now you can press the button " Create ".
3. On the next screen, click the " Add sticker " button.
4. Now you will see the image selection tool. Navigate to the album where you saved the photo and click on it. nine0003
5. The image will open in the editor. To begin with, the application will offer to cut out the background. Click on the " Automatic " button. If your image has a clear background and foreground, the app should automatically remove all the background.
And artificial intelligence is really good at this task. But if the image is complex, you can click on the " Customize " button.
6. Now use your fingers to erase or restore parts of the image. nine0003
7. If you wish, you can also add text to the sticker using option "Text" . Enter text and then move it to the desired location. And at the top of the application, you can change the style of what is written. Once you are happy with the result, click the " Done " button.
8. It remains just to click on the " Save " button.
You've made your first sticker of your own. Click on the button « Add sticker " again to create another element. You will need at least three stickers to form a set of them.
Once all your stickers have been created, go to the sticker pack page and click the " Add to WhatsApp " button.
This will open the WhatsApp application with the sticker import screen.
Here you can once again view all the stickers you add. It remains just to click on the " Save " button to add them to your account. nine0003
Your sticker pack is now added to WhatsApp and ready to use.
Go to your WhatsApp chat and click on the sticker icon located on the left side of the text box. In the pictures section, select your set in the top row, and then click on the sticker you need.
Your picture will immediately appear in the chat.
You can return to the Sticker.ly app to either create new sticker packs or add items to existing sticker packs. nine0003

A feature of the iOS system, among other things, is a fairly strict control of developers over many elements, in contrast to the open platform, which in fact is Android. Therefore, the functionality of some applications in their iOS version may differ to some extent from a similar application installed on Android.
This is why there are no emojis in WhatsApp on iPhone.
But, despite the fact that Whatsapp does not have emoticons on iPhone, you can use those that are installed in the operating system itself. To do this, you just need to activate another on-screen keyboard. nine0003
Exclusive: Momo Whatsapp number is in the new article.
There are several basic ways to enable this feature on your Apple device. The following is an instruction on where to find emoticons in WhatsApp on iPhone and how to enable them.
1. Go to the phone settings menu.
2. Select the "Basic" item.
3. Next, go to "Keyboard", then to "Keyboards".
4. Next, select New Keyboards. nine0003
5. In the list that appears, select the emoji item.
On the older versions of the operating system, in the last paragraph you need to select not emoji, but "Japanese Romaji".
Once you have enabled smilies in the keyboard set, you can go to WhatsApp.
