WhatsApp started to work incorrectly on Samsung smartphones with Dual Messenger enabled.
It allows you to run two copies of the same messenger on one device. The problem has been around for at least half a year, but Samsung has only now decided to fix it. The corresponding patch is being developed, but for now Samsung offers a temporary, but not very convenient solution to the problem
WhatsApp messenger has stopped working on some Samsung smartphones. According to the profile portal SamMobile, the service becomes impossible to use when the Dual Messenger function is activated on the device.
Dual Messenger is a feature of the One UI firmware installed on modern Samsung smartphones. It allows you to run two copies of the same messenger on one mobile phone and work in them under different accounts. This option is primarily suitable for models with two SIM slots.
Owners of Samsung mobile phones began to notice that in Dual Messenger mode, both copies of WhatsApp start to work incorrectly.
Some of them cannot send files received from other messenger users to their interlocutors.

According to SamMobile, the problem with WhatsApp not working on Samsung devices in Dual Messenger mode appeared a long time ago. While it is not clear how widespread the problem with WhatsApp and Dual Messenger has become, however, Samsung decided to respond to user complaints anyway. On its official forum, the company wrote that it will definitely solve it.
Incorrect operation of the Facebook messenger (she bought it back in 2014) on the smartphones of the Korean vendor, most likely, is of a software nature. Samsung is going to fix the service by releasing a firmware update.
When the required patch is released, Samsung is in no hurry to clarify. There is also no information about which mobile phones will receive it. Samsung smartphone owners have no complaints about the work of other instant messengers in Dual Messenger mode.
While Samsung is preparing a patch for One UI, users of the Dual Messenger mode can use the temporary solution proposed by the company's specialists. They claim that the scheme is working, but its convenience is still an open question.
