per post, profile, page or publication of the group

Active Facebook users very often have to post both inside and outside the social network various links to profiles of other users, to this or that content. If you need to do this within a social network, then there is a convenient “Share” function. If you need to place a mention of a Facebook user or content outside the social network, then you have to use links.

Therefore, let's talk about how to copy all possible links in the desktop version of Facebook and in the mobile version. nine0003

Content:

Copy on Facebook

If you prefer to work from a computer or laptop using a browser version, then finding and copying a link to any source is easy . The main action in this case is to select the text in the address bar and copy it. nine0003

But it's important to know where that text is and how to get to the right link.

Link to a personal profile

Any personal Facebook profile has an ID that belongs to him and only him. The personal profile address looks like this: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1000*******6169. And in this address, ID is a combination of numbers after the “=” sign.

In order to find and copy a link to a user's Facebook profile, you must first log into the profile. This is done very simply: click on the avatar and on the username. If you need a link to your personal profile, then entering it is very simple: the avatar and your nickname are located in the upper left corner of the page. nine0003

To access a user's profile from your friend list, simply click on his photo in the publication, in the comments, or in the list of friends.

When you go to the profile, then copy the contents of the address bar of the browser. And you will get a profile link that is pasted into an email or any other text.

Link to a publication

The process of obtaining a link to a publication is in no way dependent on the nature of the content posted there. It can be text, photo or video. In any case, to receive a link, the publication must be opened in a separate window. nine0003

To do this:

  1. Move the mouse cursor over the header of the publication.
  2. Click on the date and time it was created - they will be underlined.
  3. When the publication opens in a separate window, copy the link from the address bar.

Important! Facebook posts have "Save Post", "Save Link", "Save Video" options. These functions allow you to save the content that the user likes inside the social network, if you need, for example, to make a selection of interesting publications for yourself in order to either return to them or study them in detail in the future. But in order to get a link suitable for use on a third-party resource, these options are not suitable. nine0003

Links to a group or page

If you want to copy a link to a group or page on a social network for use outside of Facebook, then the sequence of actions is almost the same as when copying the address of a personal profile.

In particular, the actions are as follows:

  1. Go to any post made on behalf of a Facebook page and click on the page name.
  2. If you know the exact or at least relatively accurate name of the page, then it will not be difficult to find it using the search option of the social network. nine0014
  3. Go to the page and copy the link to it from the address bar of the browser. The address will be something like this: https://www.facebook.com/pagename/.

If the task is to find and copy the address of a group on Facebook, then the sequence of actions is completely similar. That is, in order to get the coveted link, you must go to the group.

Assistant programs

Of course, searching for profiles, pages and groups, copying links is a matter that takes a decent amount of time, and therefore many bloggers prefer to optimize the process with the help of browser extensions created just for this purpose. nine0003
