If someone has blocked you on WhatsApp, you will not be able to send messages to that contact. But the blacklist can be tricked, and we will tell you how to do it in new and old versions of the application.
Most likely, you were blocked for a reason. But if you urgently need to get through to a “closed” contact, don’t worry, there is a way.
How to bypass a WhatsApp block in older versions of the app
There are two signs of blocking: you can't see the profile picture of the blacklisted contact and you can't send messages to them. Until recently, there was a way to contact such contacts: create a new WhatsApp chat and add the person who blocked you and another user to it. After that, sent messages will be visible to all chat participants - even contacts from the black list.
However, this security gap has been closed in recent updates to WhatsApp. Now the contact who blocked you will not even receive an invitation to a new chat. If you still have an old version of the messenger, check how this method works.
How to bypass blocking in WhatsApp in new versions of the messenger
In the new versions of the application, there is only one way to trick developers. All you have to do is change your whatsapp number. However, frequently changing the number on the same smartphone can lead to a temporary suspension of the account.
- Open the WhatsApp application settings and select the "Account" section, the "Change number" item.
- Enter a new mobile phone number. Please note that the application will ask you to pass verification.
- After registering again, you will be able to contact the person who blocked you.
- If you don't have an additional phone number, get a new SIM card or contact the right contact on a friend's mobile phone.

How to send a message to the person who blocked you on WhatsApp
Using WhatsApp is like using an enhanced version of SMS on any other phone, which is what makes it so attractive to users all over the world. One of the best features is the ability to easily block someone through the service. This allows you to take your mind off a potentially dangerous, threatening, or vague conversation.
Since the application is very user friendly, it is quite easy to block other users from the WhatsApp interface and you can also easily unblock them if you change your mind. However, things are not so simple on the other side of the fence. It's frustrating to be blocked, especially if you don't know why or feel the reasons were unfair.
Is it possible to contact your contact again? And how do you know if you've been blocked?
Programs for Windows, mobile applications, games - EVERYTHING is FREE, in our closed telegram channel - Subscribe :)
If you are facing these mind-boggling questions, this article will help you.
We strongly recommend that you do not use WhatsApp (or any other social media application) to harass, intimidate, threaten or harass others. If you've been banned from a service, it's worth taking a step back and considering the reasons that may have caused them to ban you.
If you think the other person has blocked you unfairly or for unknown reasons, it's still worth remembering that the person who blocked you clearly doesn't want you to contact them.
Since WhatsApp blocking is not permanent, there may come a time when this person legally unblocks you on the service and you can contact them again. Maybe they just need a cool down period or a break to think things through. Perhaps the block is not relevant to you personally.
The methods presented in this article should not be used to harass another person. If you've been blocked on WhatsApp, there's a good chance that the person you're talking to just doesn't want to hear from you.
For this reason, these methods should only be used to contact the person who blocked you in the event of a family emergency or other critical life or health-related issue.
Not to mention stalking, there are three main methods for sending a message to someone who has blocked you. None of these methods are reliable, and if the person really doesn't want to hear from you, they will also be able to block these methods, but at least you will be able to send one message.
Sending a message via SMS
The first method is an obvious workaround, but many people forget about it. While millions of people around the world have stopped using SMS to contact their friends and family, every smartphone still supports sending messages to an SMS number.
Because WhatsApp contacts use your device's phone number to add and save users to your device, it's incredibly easy to switch to the SMS app on your device and send a text to the contact that blocked you.
If you had them as a WhatsApp contact, you have their phone number. While there's a good chance you could be completely blocked both on and off WhatsApp, it's still worth trying to send a plain text to the user you're trying to contact.
We really can't stress enough how important it is to use the above strategies only during emergencies. If someone blocked you on WhatsApp, there is almost certainly a good reason for this and you should be careful not to try to contact this person in any way.
