The average reality TV star in this tier posted 7.4 sponsored posts per month, which means on the low end they would earn $37,000 per month, or $444,000 in a year, from social media marketing.   • Estimated cost per post: $1,500

Former “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Meghan King Edmonds is no longer on reality TV, but she’s amassed enough of a social following to profit from her stint on the Bravo show. With 961,000 followers, Edmonds earns $1,500 per social post, according to Jezebel.

The SiriusXM personality — who has 1.3 million followers — has sponsorships with Teami Blends and Planet Fitness. In the past, she has posted about one sponsored Instagram post per month. At that rate, her Instagram earnings can be as much as $42,000 for the year.

Becca Tilley

Self-described as a model, actress and feminist, Emily Ratajkowski is also a designer. She and her best pal, fashion veteran Kat Mendenhall, dreamed up and launched the brand Inamorata Woman— a body-conscious collection with a beachy attitude designed to fit every woman’s form. The brand was inspired by the pair’s Southern California upbringing, which included living in swimsuits during the summer months.

Ratajkowski’s sponsored posts, which go out to her 24.1 million followers, include Kerastase and Paco Rabanne Parfums. The model and designer posts for brands other than her own about twice per month, which translates into $161,400 per month — a $1.9 million annual Instagram income.

Bella Hadid, with 25. 9 million followers on Instagram, is known for her career as a fashion model. Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, is a former fashion model, and her sister, Gigi Hadid, is also a fashion model. Bella has walked the runway for some of the world’s top fashion designers, including Givenchy, Chanel, Versace, Dior and Fendi. She has also graced the covers of a variety of magazines, including Vogue, Elle, Glamour and Allure.

The fashion model’s sponsored posts include Michael Kors and Calvin Klein, and she appears to post about twice per month. At her per-post rate of $86,300, she can pull in $172,600 per month, or $2 million per year, from Instagram.

Stephen Curry, the basketball player who led his team, the Golden State Warriors, to three NBA Championships, is no slouch when it comes to making bank on Instagram. The athlete and entrepreneur — who has 27 million followers — makes $142,000 per Instagram post, according to Hopper HQ.

Curry’s sponsors include Under Armour, Palm and Rakuten, and he posts two to three sponsored posts per month. At just two sponsored posts per month, Instagram profits for this basketball star can total up to $284,000 per month, which is $3.4 million per year.

Conor McGregor

  • Estimated cost per post: $169,000

MMA fighter Conor McGregor has amassed 31.7 million followers during his time on Instagram. According to Hopper HQ, McGregor is one of the highest-paid athletes per Instagram post.

McGregor has had a wide range of paid partnerships, including Burger King, HiSmile and Monster Energy. If McGregor only posts an average of two sponsored Instagram posts per month, he could potentially earn $338,000 per month, which is over $4 million in a year.

Khloe Kardashian

Khloe also has an impressive 98.6 million followers on Instagram. With just two sponsored posts per month, this Kardashian can earn $1.2 million per month, or $14.3 million per year, from Instagram.

Kendall Jenner

Fashion model and reality star Kendall Jenner got her modeling debut at Sherri Hill’s Spring 2012 Fashion Show two years before she graduated from high school in 2014. At the young age of 23, Jenner has amassed 116 million followers on her Instagram account and gets paid $611,000 per post, according to Hopper HQ.

A quick scan of Jenner’s Instagram posts over one week yielded six sponsored posts. Jenner promotes brands like Longchamp, Aritzia, Proactiv and Stuart Weitzman. If Jenner just did six sponsored Instagram posts per month, she would pull in $3.6 million per month — for a total of $43.9 million a year.

In September 2019, Nicki Minaj shocked fans with a tweet that she was going to retire from music to have a family. Not even a day later, Minaj apologized for the tweet, saying it was insensitive and that she would address her plans later.

Neymar promotes brands like Nike and does about two sponsored posts per month, for about $1.44 million. In one year, Neymar could potentially make $17.3 million on Instagram.

  • Estimated cost per post: $886,000

Pop star Selena Gomez is one of the most followed people of Instagram with 157 million followers. She also ranks No. 5 on Hopper HQ’s Instagram Rich List 2019.

Gomez — who has amassed an impressive fortune from a variety of money-making avenues — only posts an average of one sponsored Instagram post per month, promoting brands like Coach and Puma. But she can still earn $10.6 million in a year because of her high rate for a single post.
