Thus, when you share a YouTube video on Facebook, it shows in the form of a link instead of a video player.
Now the question is, what can you do?
There are two ways you can go about in order to enable the autoplay feature for your YouTube videos.
First Method
The first method that we will introduce here is for those who have a YouTube channel of their own and want to transfer their videos from YouTube to Facebook and enable autoplay.
The unfortunate thing is that YouTube does not have a feature that allows you to share videos as videos instead of an embed link. So, we look at third-party apps for help.
One of such third-party apps is TubeBuddy. It is an amazing app for YouTube Channel Management that we will use here to solve our little problem.
We will now provide you with a step-by-step guide for uploading your YouTube videos to Facebook with the help of TubeBuddy.

The first step is to go to your YouTube channel and select the video you want to share.
Step 2: Go to the TubeBuddy Dropdown Menu
Click on the TubeBuddy Dropdown menu. You will see a lot of different tabs here.
Step 3: Look for the Syndicate Option

Step 4: Set the Desired Settings
A dialog box will appear where you can enter your Facebook account, set the title, adjust the description, set the publish time, and set the thumbnail.
Once you are done, click on “Publish to Facebook,” and voila!
Now, your YouTube video will be uploaded on your Facebook page as a video and will play automatically as the rest of the Facebook videos do.
Second Method
The second method of ensuring the autoplay feature works with your videos is to upload them directly from your computer. You can also download videos from YouTube using third-party services and then upload them on Facebook.
The step-by-step guide is given below.
Step 1: Search and Open the Video
Go to YouTube, search for the video you want to share on Facebook, and open it.
Step 2: Copy the URL
At the top of the page, copy the URL of the page.
Step 3: Use Any Third-Party Service
Some different third-party apps and websites help you convert and download YouTube videos. Just a quick Google search will help you out with finding one.
Paste the URL in the app or website. Then download the video.
Step 4: Upload the Video to Facebook.
Once you have the video on your computer, go to Facebook. On the home page, you will see an option to upload a Photo/Video below the status bar.
Click on it, select the video you want to upload, and then post it.

How to Stop Autoplay Facebook Videos on Android
These days, Facebook changes a lot of different options and settings on the fly, and this is especially true for its Android and iOS mobile app. The guide below will show users how to stop or disable Facebook video autoplay on Android, a feature we hear more complaints about than anything else.
In late 2013, Facebook introduced video autoplay on our timeline, which many users love, but it's also a "feature" that can be quite annoying and many want to turn it off. Luckily, users have to tap before the audio starts playing, but that's still something you can turn off. nine0003
Whether it's for users with low data plans who don't want to waste precious data on all those videos friends and family post on Facebook, or to prevent overuse of too much data. Below are some extremely quick and easy steps Android users need to take to prevent Facebook from automatically playing videos.
On the backend, these videos are loaded automatically and ready to play, so when you scroll down the timeline, they automatically start playing. And while that's nice, especially if you're at home over WiFi, it also drains your carrier's data allocation and can be quite frustrating. nine0003
Unfortunately, most of Facebook's settings or "features" are hidden deep inside the Android app and not easy to find. However, all you have to do is a few quick presses on the menu button, and the feature can be turned off in less than a minute. Here's how:
instructions
The Facebook Android app is constantly changing, and while my screenshots may be in beta and not available to the public, all settings are the same and in the same place. To stop or disable automatic video playback on Facebook for Android, first open the app and then follow the screenshots below. nine0003
On Facebook's main timeline, tap the three-line "menu" button at the top of the page, then scroll about halfway down to Help and Settings and select .
Oddly enough, almost all important settings are hidden here. The ones that turn off those relatively new and nasty Facebook noises and sounds, location data in messages, and most importantly, turn off auto-play videos. Scroll down to "Video Autoplay" and select it. The popup will give you the options you are looking for. nine0003
Video autoplay is on by default, and luckily Google has two different options. I prefer automatic video downloads over WiFi only. This saves data and means the videos will only automatically download when I'm at home or somewhere with a Wi-Fi connection. Then, of course, you can turn them off completely, which is another good choice for many.
If you choose to disable them completely, videos will not appear on your timeline and users will be prompted to tap the video before it loads or starts playing. nine0003
That's it, you're done. Facebook on your Android smartphone or tablet will no longer automatically play videos based on the setting you choose. It's worth noting that this can also be done online, which many don't know about, essentially by going to the same settings menu in the top right corner.
Users can now rest knowing videos won't play on their Android devices while browsing Facebook, saving your data, and making your timeline a little cleaner. If you have any other questions about Facebook, write to us in the comments below. nineOl000

Inserting a video into a page
Most video blocks are in the Video category of the Tilda block library.
There are 3 main methods of video embedding: Youtube embedding, Vimeo embedding and the ability to add a direct link to a video on a third party server (HTML5 video). Choose the block that suits you, go to Block Content and paste a link to it.
Features of inserting videos from Youtube
Videos from Youtube can be inserted in blocks VD01 (one video), VD04 (display after pressing the Play button), VD06 (two videos), VD08 (video and text), VD09(popup with a video), VD11 (video with its own cover), VD12 (in combination with an image in a row), VD14 (playlist), some blocks with a gallery, as well as blocks with a full-screen background with an image as a background (more about inserting a video background).
To embed a video, a link is enough and the video must be public and not have a ban on embedding on third-party sites in the privacy settings.
To make the video play from a specific moment, insert the fragment ?start= and after it specify the desired time in seconds from the beginning of the video. For example, XEfDYMngJeE?start=5025. In this case, the video will start playing from 5025 seconds. You can quickly copy the time by right-clicking on the player and selecting "Copy time-based video URL". nine0003
Features of inserting videos from Vimeo
Videos from Vimeo can be inserted in blocks VD03 (one video), VD06A (two videos), VD08 (video and text), VD10 (popup with video), VD11 (video with its own cover) and VD14 (playlist) and some gallery blocks. Vimeo video cannot be inserted as a background.
If your video is set to Vimeo's privacy settings, it will have an additional combination of numbers and letters at the end of the link after the video number. To make the video play, add this combination to the Vimeo Private Link Hash field. nine0003
Features of inserting video from a third-party server (HTML5 video)
If your video is not located on these video hosting sites, then it can be uploaded to your own server and inserted into HTML5 video blocks. These are blocks VD05 (one video), VD08 (video and text), VD11 (video with its own cover) and VD15 (HTML5 video in pop-up) and some blocks with a gallery. Also, HTML5 video can be inserted as a background in blocks with a full-screen background (read more about inserting a video background).
To add such a video to the page, you need to get a video file in webm and mp4 format. You can convert videos to these formats using online converters or in video editing or converting programs. Next, you need to place it on the hosting and get a direct link to the file. Please note that not all file storages have this capability and you will most likely need to use paid file hosting, for example, Selectel. nine0003
You won't be able to upload your video file to Tilda, but you can use third-party services that provide a direct link to the file.
Some of the popular cloud services also provide a direct link to the file, such as Dropbox and Google Drive (instructions below).
You can also upload the file to your hosting, for example, to Selectel using the instructions http://help-ru.tilda.ws/file-uploading#selectel.
1. Upload the file to the Dropbox cloud service;
2. Copy the link to the file; nine0119 3. Change the end of the link from "dl=0" to "dl=1";
4. Paste the received link into the button
1. Upload the file to the Google Drive cloud service;
2. Copy the link into a text editor and take the identifier code from it, the link will look like this, the file identifier is highlighted in bold: https://drive.google.com/file/d/ 1Ws8OqZ6FoL6x5_DEXm-69oT-lSsuTzmH / view?usp=sharing
3. Substitute this id into the link: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=
4. You should get the following: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1Ws8OqZ6FoL6x5_DEXm-69oT-lSsuTzmH
5. Paste the resulting link into the button
Go to the Content block with HTML5 video and paste it into the required fields link to your video in both formats.
Some blocks have only one field for inserting a link from an HTML5 video. In this case, only one format can be used and mp4 is preferred.
Support table for mp4 video browsers →
Webm video browser support table →
Background video in covers and other blocks
Instead of a static background image of a cover or other blocks with an image background, you can put a video clip. Go to the Content tab and paste the link to your video in the required field. You can use the Youtube video link or the HTML5 video link obtained from the instructions above.
Cover example with background video
Block with video playlist
Block with playlist is in category Video → Block VD14.
This block supports YouTube and Vimeo videos. In order to add a video, you need to enter data for it in the format
Video link ; Video title; Video length; Video description
Information for each video in the playlist must start on a new line.
Video for a product in the catalog
In the product catalog it is possible to add a video illustrating the product. To do this, go to the product card → the "Video" link next to any product image and paste the link to the video on Youtube or Vimeo. nine0003
Inserting a video into a post in Streams
In Streams, you can insert both the main video for a post (which will be shown at the beginning of the post and will be the cover in the list of posts), and insert several videos into the body of the post in Streams.
In order to insert the main video, go to the post edit card to the field with the image → the “Video” tab and insert the link to the video.
The video will be shown at the beginning of the post.
To add a video to the text of the post, put the cursor in the right place and click on the icon with the video in the top formatting bar and paste a link to it. nine0003
The video will be pulled into the body of the post.
