When I first purchased my firestick device I really had so many misconceptions in my mind. And one of the biggest misconceptions that I had was installing any application that is available on Android. I still remember that day when I installed firestick on my TV and soon after, I tried installing Telegram on firestick from the Amazon app store.
But unfortunately, Telegram was not available at that time on firestick and even in today’s time, you can not download telegram from the amazon app store. But now after using firestick for more than a year I know how to make things work. Today, I will show you how to install Telegram messenger on a firestick device.

How to Install Telegram on Firestick [ Two Methods ]
Now there are two ways to install Telegram messenger on firestick, the one method is by using the Downloader app and another method is by using Es File Explorer.
Both the methods are equally good and will give you the same result. However, I personally prefer the Downloader app just because I am more comfortable with it. But that doesn’t mean Es File is any bad. Es File Explorer is also a very good application that can be used as a file manager for your firestick as well as for sideloading apps.
Steps to Install Telegram on Firestick via Downloader
Now to install telegram via the downloader app, you need to first get the downloader app installed on your firestick.
Don’t know how to do that? well, follow the below steps.
- Open your firestick home screen and search for ‘downloader’.
- Click on the install button to start the downloading and installing process.
- Once the app is installed you can click on the open button to open it.
Now it’s time to install the Telegram apk on FireStick via the downloader application.
Step 1) First of all, open the ‘Downloader’ application that you installed earlier.
Step 2) Click on ‘Allow’ whenever it asks to grant all the required permissions. You can also change the permission afterward by going to Settings >> Applications >> Manage Installed Applications >> Downloader > Permissions.
Step 3) Now you will see a home screen of the downloader app.
Step 4) Now enter this URL: https://bit.ly/3gzzdYM. This URL is case sensitive, make sure to enter the URL as it is.
Step 5) After entering the URL click on the Go button. Make sure that the URL entered by you is correct because if you make any typing mistake then the downloader app will fail to download the Telegram apk.
Step 6) After the downloading thing is done click on Install Button.
Step 7) Now the Telegram app will start installing on firestick.
Step 8) After the app is installed succesfully, click on the Done button.
Step 9) Once the Telegram is installed on firestick, the APK is of no use now so we will delete it by click on the Delete button.
Step 10) If it is asking for confirmation then again simply click on the ‘ Delete’ button.

Method 2) Install Telegram on FireStick via ES File Explorer
Make sure that Es File Explorer is installed on firestick otherwise you won’t be able to download and install Telegram. So, if the Es File is not installed then first follow the below steps to get the Es file app installed on firestick.
- Go to your FireStick home screen.
- Now click on the search option and search their ‘ES File Explorer’ and hit the ok button.
- Now the app information will be showing on your TV screen.
- Now click on the ‘Get’ button.
- Es file will start installing itself once the APK is downloaded.
- Once the es file is downloaded and installed, you can move the app to your home screen by going to the apps & channels section.
Follow the below steps to install Telegram on firestick via ES File Explorer.
- First of all, you need to open the Es File Explorer app on Firestick.
- Now on the home screen, you will see different options, you need to click on the ‘Downloader’ icon.
- On the next screen, you need to click on the ‘Add’ or ‘+’ option located at the bottom of the screen.
- Now a download box will open asking you to enter the Path and Name of the app that you wish to download.
- Now you need to enter the below source URL.

Installing applications for Amazon Fire TV Stick :: 2DS
In a previous post, I talked about how to get root rights for Amazon Stick 4k, but many after installing root (relevant for those who do not have it) and getting Russian language, the following question arises: How can I install my favorite application on a “stick” ( does not matter 4k or another )? It would seem that the set-top box has Android 5 version and you just have to go to the play market and put everything you need .... but there is no google app store here and there is no free usb for connecting a flash drive with the application either. Consider the available ways to install applications on your set-top box.
Method 1: Installing the application via ADB from an Android device
The easiest way for most users, it is important that both devices are on the same Wifi network!
- Install the Apps2Fire application via google play on your Android device
- On your set-top box, go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > ADB Debugging and set Unknown App Sources to ON. If you have an English version, then Settings > My Fire TV > Developer options > ADB debugging and Apps from Unknown Sources set everything to ON
- We find out the IP address of the set-top box, for this we go to Settings> My Fire TV> About the device> Network (Settings> My Fire TV> About> Network) and IP Address will be written on the right: 192.168.2.15 (you will have your own, remember these numbers !)
- In the application Apps2Fire go to the Setup tab and enter our IP address from step 3 and press Search FIRE TV`S if everything is done correctly, your set-top box will appear below!

- In the Apps2Fire application in the upper right corner, click on the arrow at the top, the file system of your device will open from which we will send and install applications on the set-top box. ( all applications that we want to install on Amazon Fire tv must be downloaded in advance to your device in the form of * .apk files ) We find the desired application on the device, press and select the item - Upload (if you press Install there will be an error!) , after pressing , a window will appear on the TV (monitor) screen in which you will be asked permission to connect via ADB, you must agree! We are waiting for the file upload to finish.

- In the Apps2Fire application, go to the section FIRE TV SD CARD here the files of your set-top box are displayed, go to the /sdcard/Download folder and find the application that we sent, select it and click Install, after a while a window with the installation will appear on the screen of the set-top box, if necessary, agree with the installation points and wait for it to complete!
Using this method, you can upload any files and install applications to the Amazon Fire Tv set-top boxes!
Method 2: Installing applications via ADB with Windows

Download the archive and install the ADB application on your computer.

How to download apps on the Firestick
The Fire Stick is based on Android, but it's a completely different experience.
You get native Alexa support right out of the box, it pairs well with your other Alexa devices, offers a better user experience, and runs Android apps just like Android TV. If you don't know how to install apps on your Fire Stick, don't worry. I have compiled a list of all the ways to install an app on a Fire TV Stick. Let's start.
1. Ask Alexa
The easiest way to install apps on your Fire Stick is to politely ask Alexa. Of course, you can manually install apps using the on-screen keyboard by selecting the magnifying glass (at the far left end of the menu) and typing in the name of the app you want to install.
But talking to Alec is much easier. Just press and hold the Alexa button on the Firestick remote to speak. For example, you can say "Alexa, search for [app name] app" and then Alexa will show you a bunch of results, click the "Get" button next to the search result to install the app. The only caveat to using this method is that Alexa only gives you results from the Amazon App Store, which includes popular apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Spotify, etc.

2. Amazon app store.
Using Alexa is fine, but if you want more control and power, you can visit the App Store on your Fire Stick.
Go to the home screen of your Fire TV and press directly on the remote control until you reach the Apps section. You will see a grid of all apps available on Firestick and Fire TV. Scroll down and use the left and right arrow keys on your remote to navigate between apps. Select the apps you want to install by pressing the center button on the remote control, then press "Select", press the button in the center of the navigation bar.

3. Using the Amazon website.
Another way to install applications on the Firestick is from a computer.
Just make sure you are logged into the same Amazon account on your computer as you are on Firestick.
Then use your computer to go to the Amazon App Store. This link will automatically redirect you to your country directory.
and buy apps directly from your Amazon account. Your Fire Stick will automatically install these apps after a few minutes. After the page loads, scroll down or use the search to find the app you want to install and click on it. Click the dropdown box located right below "Deliver To", select your Firestick, and click "Get" to install it. Wait a few seconds and the app will load into the Apps section on the Firestick.
4. Easy Fire Tools
An easy way to install Android apps from your phone to an Amazon Firestick is to use an app called Easy Fire Tools. As long as your Firestick and Android smartphone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you can easily transfer apps from your phone to Firestick via Wi-Fi using this app.
However, be aware that since most Android apps are not optimized for the big screen, not every app will scale well from your phone's portrait orientation to your TV's landscape orientation.
Here's how it works.
To get started, go to Developer Options in your Fire TV Stick settings and enable ADB debugging and applications from unknown sources.
Then install Easy Fire Tools on Android and open it. It will show you a list of all apps installed on your phone. Then click the discover button at the top as shown in the image below. It will automatically detect all Fire Stick devices on the network, click to select the Fire Stick of your choice.
Establish a connection by clicking the "Connect" button in the upper right corner. The message "Debugging ADB" will appear on the TV screen. Accept it to turn it on and your Fire Stick will be ready to accept apps from your smartphone.
Once connected, you can transfer apps that are already installed on your phone or those that you have downloaded as APK files. Click on the file name or APK name and click yes when prompted and you will see that the app has been transferred as well as installed on your Fire Stick.
5. Cetus Play
Easy Fire Tools works fine, but setting it up is tricky, and if you're looking for something that's Plug and Play, I recommend CetusPlay. Not only does it allow you to download unpublished apps on your Fire TV Stick, like Easy Fire Tools, but it also provides a ton of extra features like streaming images, videos, movies, and more with little to no lag. You can also transfer long URLs to Fire Stick using the app.
For this to work, just install CetusPlay on your Android phone from the Play Store. And just like with simple Firetools, you need to enable "ADB Debugging" and "Apps from Unknown Sources" by going to Developer Options in the Fire TV Stick settings. Now go back to your phone and open the newly installed CetusPlay app. It will automatically pick up all Firesticks (or even Android TVs or Smart TVs) on your network. Click on your Firestick name and a popup will appear on your Firestick to confirm the connection, click Allow and enter the code you see on the TV and you're done.
You will now be able to control your Firestick with the remote control built into the CetusPlay app. Swiping right on an app will unlock additional options to send files, photos, URLs and of course apps from your phone to Firestick directly.

6. Aptoide TV
The problem with downloading unpublished apps is that there is no way to automatically update apps on Fire Stick. Enter Aptoide TV, a Play Store replacement for your Fire TV, it allows you to install all the apps that are not available in the Amazon App Store and keep them up to date.
Although the Aptoide TV app is fully optimized for Fire TV Stick / 4K, you can't find it in the Play Store or Amazon Apps Store. You will need to use Easy Fire Tools to install it on your Fire Stick.
To do this, go to the Aptoide TV website and download the APK file on your smartphone. After that, use Easy Fire Tools to install the app on your Fire Stick.
Now you can use the Aptoide TV app to install any other app.

7. USB stick.
If nothing else works, you can still download apps to your Fire Stick from a USB stick. The Fire TV Stick supports USB input, the only requirement to unlock this feature is $7. Micro USB 2-in-1 OTG cable from Amazon that allows you to insert a USB drive into a Fire TV Stick.
Connect a USB storage device to the USB host cable and browse the contents of the disk using File Explorer. Tap the APK to install it on your Fire Stick. Simple enough?
8. Using Google Drive
The previous method was a bit fiddly as it required both a USB OTG adapter and a flash drive. If you don't have access to them, you can also use cloud services like Google Drive to transfer APK files from your phone or PC to your Fire Stick or Fire TV.
Start by downloading the APK of APKmirror on your phone or PC. We recommend APKmirror because it is released by the reputable Android Police and does not contain any malware.
However, finding the right download is still a little confusing.
For example, after you download the APK on your Android, I want the Instagram app to be on my Fire Stick.
Once you have downloaded the APK, upload it to your Google Drive account and navigate to your streaming device. open File manager or any other file manager with cloud support. Now sign in with the same Google account that has the APK.
You should see the APK file and then download it. After the download is complete, install them.
And here it is, the stretched version of Instagram on Andriod TV. While this may seem simple, it's just too much work in my opinion, especially when you have simpler methods as shown above.
