      Share the Proposal Itself

How he asked 💍🥰 It was Christmas Day, and we were at the Taj Mahal. This was unintentional, because we were on a tight schedule. Between my last day of class in the Netherlands and my friend’s wedding in southern India, we had only a couple of days to fly in from Amsterdam, see the sights, and make it to the wedding. I planned the trip, and it just so happened that we were at the Taj Mahal on December 25th. It was foggy that day, and quite cold (if you look closely, you’ll see I’m wearing leggings). Typically, you should visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise to avoid the crowds, but our guide said it was too foggy and that if we went in the morning, we wouldn’t be able to see anything. Tom seemed concerned about the news. We spent the morning visiting other sights, which were almost eerie, being so shrouded in fog. Early afternoon, we finally made it to the Taj Mahal. Sure enough, there were people everywhere. We found the spot, it was surprisingly clear, handed the camera to the tour guide, and then...! He said something. I said something. Neither of us remember what we said, only that the sound of the world had fallen away and we were the only two left. I have often thought that, even if the world as we know it was no more, and we were only spirits adrift in the universe, I would be happy, because we would be together. I would feel at home, because we would be together. #isaidyes #engaged #christmasday #tajmahal

How to Handle Your Bridesmaid Getting Engaged

11 Tips on How to Share Engagement News on Instagram

The second most popular date after February 14 when a man proposes to his girlfriend is December 31 under the chimes. A double joy comes out: for the coming of the New Year, and for the New happiness. And it does not keep you waiting and shines in a glass of champagne. Ashes from the paper, on which the cherished desire to get married as soon as possible, were written on it. And they say that with age you stop believing in miracles.

Good. After you jumped around the hall with shouts of jubilation, put the ring on your finger and agreed to be his bride, is the time to announce this to your friends and relatives. And at the same time envious girlfriends and ex-boyfriends. These days, the best way to communicate about an engagement is Instagram - an eloquent picture and a short caption I became a bride.

Read 11 tips on how to communicate your status in the best possible way.

      1. Show all the chic, shine, beauty of the ring

Take a close-up photo of the ring on your ring finger against a plain background so that nothing distracts from the brilliance of the diamond.

      1. Show all the glamor, brilliance, beauty of the ring

      2. Tell a story, how it was

this. Even if it was a proposal without a complex script, but made sincerely, also talk about it. Share your emotions, that you felt what he was saying, under what circumstances did you hear the main question.

      3. Make a video for 15 seconds

That's how long the Instagram video is, but it's long enough to show the ring and shout into the camera that you are now the bride and groom. If you are not ready for the video because your mascara is not smeared from tears of joy, then make a slideshow of your joint photos with a caption about your engagement.

      4. Come up with a talking hashtag

Are you a secretive person, but still unable to contain your joy from the new status of the bride? Then use the hashtag and nothing else.

      For example, #newStatusNewLife #because I said good #brilliantEngagement

#two will become one #fianceeThakhochu #soon wedding and beyond, #what fantasy tells you.

      6. Introduce your favorite pet

Many girls are obsessed with cats and dogs, it's good that they are alive. You can put your engagement announcement around his neck and draw a large diamond ring. Some couples want a dog to be part of their wedding ceremony, so they use them as a ring bearer, that is, they attach a pillow with wedding rings to the back. Because the inscription can change Soon my masters will get married! Take a picture and post it on Instagram.

      7. Use your future last name

If you plan to change your last name after marriage, use this option. Take an awesome selfie with the ring, sign the photo #FutureMrs.Ivanova and wait for enthusiastic congratulations.

      8. Give your attention to the groom

Most often it is the bride who gets the attention, and the groom stands somewhere on the sidelines, modest. Post his portrait photo on Instagram and caption: This is the man of my dreams I am marrying!

      9. Write on your hand

Use a red lip pencil to write on your hand I said yes or I am getting married. It is advisable to make an inscription on the back of the hand so that the ring can be seen, do not forget to draw a big arrow. Let the groom take a picture of you, and you will publish it on Instagram.

      10. Use your favorite game

If you like to play scrabble, then make a phrase from the letters I said yes, Finally! take a picture and post it on Instagram. This is a very cute, but non-standard way to distinguish yourself from other couples. You can also draw a phrase in the sand, lay it out with objects, lipstick on a mirror, etc. way for individuals.

      11. Use a wedding magazine or portal

Buy the latest issue of a wedding magazine and take a photo of your hand with the ring in front of it. Add meaningful hashtags #it's time to start #planningWeddings #we're engaged #bride.

If you put down our hashtag #prosvadby_inspires, then we can repost, and thousands of people around the world will know about your engagement.

Social media rules every bride needs to know

Social media during the engagement period, on the wedding day and even after it is quite dangerous territory. Try to follow a few rules when covering the change in your matrimonial status so as not to get into an awkward situation and not annoy your dear subscribers.

      Engagement

This is where your story begins. The “engagement post” sets the tone for all subsequent publications on this topic. A close-up shot of a ring with a stone accent? Not worth it! Firstly, it is too immodest, and secondly, it will make you think about who you are engaged to. Slideshows should also be avoided - scrolling through seven processed and verified pictures, everyone will immediately understand how much time you spent on it.

Instead, post a photo of yourself with your fiancé: your hand is at the level of a happy face, your new favorite (hopefully) jewelry shines on your finger. Under the photo - a cute funny caption or hashtag. #ISaidYes doesn't count because of course you said yes, otherwise you wouldn't be posting this.

And do not forget to thank subscribers in the comments for good wishes - this is elementary courtesy.

      Wedding Planning

Sorry to be frank, but no one cares about the countdown (weekly or even monthly) to your wedding. As well as the route of your run on Saturday morning. Let both that and other information remain in your phone.

The regime and program of pre-wedding training is also not a part of the preparatory process that is worth sharing. Especially every day. There is no doubt that you are working very hard to be at your best on Day X. But why not give your guests a surprise so that they can see how fabulous you already look in a wedding dress?

From acceptable publications - video from the venue of the future celebration or pictures of the most photogenic dishes during the tasting of the menu.
