Director of the Association of Professional Users of Social Networks and Messengers (APPSIM) Vladimir Zykov told how many bloggers in Russia will lose their millionth audience on Instagram.
"Bloggers who have more than a million subscribers in the Russian segment of the platform, almost 1100, bloggers who have from 100 thousand to a million subscribers - 18.5 thousand people, from 10 to 100 thousand subscribers - 255 thousand people, from 5 to 10 thousand subscribers - 268 thousand, from 2 to 5 thousand subscribers - 755 thousand. In total, there are 38 million authors in the social network (people who posted at least one post),” Zykov said.
The main direction of migration of Instagram bloggers will be Vkontakte, and to a lesser extent, Telegram.
Vkontakte is a priority, because many Instagram users have important stories, there are no stories in Telegram, so many, of course, will rush to Vkontakte and will try to satisfy subscribers with the same content there, ”Zykov explained.
He also clarified what the losses for bloggers from ending direct advertising integrations would be at least $100 million per year.
Earlier, the head of Instagram spoke about blocking the social network in Russia.
Roskomnadzor has decided to restrict access to Instagram on the territory of Russia based on the requirement of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation. The agency said that the process of blocking this social network will end on March 14.
