To start getting the most out of your Instagram inbox, you’ll want to know your way around these hidden messages. From unseen requests to Instagram’s recently released vanish mode, there are a few ways to find unknown messages and make your messages disappear after they’re read.

When someone you don’t know messages you on Instagram, that message ends up in a different spot from your main inbox.
