Emojis make any conversation more vibrant because they perfectly capture our emotions. Nothing says I’m dying of laughter more than a good old Rolling on the Floor Laughing emoji.
But emojis are being updated all the time, and you don't want to get left behind. Fortunately, there are ways to add new emojis to your Android phone, make your own emojis, or even use the ones from iOS.
Here is how to update emojis on Android devices.
Each new version of Android brings new emojis. Android 11, for example, introduced 117 brand-new characters, while the more than 2,000 previously available emojis also got new designs in an additional Android emoji update. Always update your Android device since there's a high chance it will also update your keyboard emojis.
Not sure if your Android device has received this update? Here’s what you can do:
Of course, not every Android phone manufacturer is good with software updates, so this may not be available to you. Fortunately, there are other things you can try.

Google’s native keyboard app, Gboard, features the Emoji Kitchen, which makes it easy to get new emojis on Android.
It allows users to generate mashups of their stickers. Here’s how you can create a new emoji using this too:
Note that not all messaging apps will support the new Emoji Kitchen feature. Additionally, check out our guide explaining the meanings of various emoji faces.

Another approach you can use to get new emojis is to install a third-party Android emoji keyboard.
Like the Emoji Keyboard, some of these apps even come with an icon dictionary, so you can easily check out the meaning of the emoji.
Moreover, the app also has a prediction feature and allows you to send stickers and GIFs to social media sites like Snapchat and Instagram.
Here is how you can install a third-party keyboard on your smartphone:
Some of the best third-party keyboard apps you can choose from include:
These apps are great alternatives to Google’s keyboard app Gboard, which is installed on every phone.
Some device manufacturers, including Samsung, also pre-install their own keyboards, so check those out too.

If you want your emojis to reflect your personality and taste, you can make your own customized emoji. The Google Play Store has dozens of emoji maker apps that you can install on your Android devices. You can even turn yourself into an emoji with Memoji.
To install an emoji maker on your phone, follow the same procedure as downloading your third-app keyboard. Bitmoji is one of the most popular custom emoji makers and also offers a huge library of stickers to customize.

If you're new to this app, here’s how to get more emojis on Android.
Now you can choose from several emojis with your face on them to send to your friends or loved ones via social media.

Apple’s iOS arguably has better emojis than Google’s Android.
If you want to use iOS emojis on your Android device, use a font editor like zFont. You can download this app via Google Play Store.
Download: zFont (Free)
After downloading the app, here is how to update emojis on Android:
After which, apply the version which you just downloaded. Wait for a few minutes for the changes to apply. Take note that font editors like zFont may not correctly show some fonts because of some compatibility issues. Additionally, the app has a lot of pop-up ads, and you can’t merge bitmap emoji fonts.
Perhaps, the most straightforward way to get new emojis is to wait for Google to add them. Additionally, if you can't resist and want to be the first to get the new emojis, you can download and install the beta version of the Gboard app.
Whichever method you choose, it's quite easy to update your emojis. And installing a new keyboard comes with other benefits as well. Fortunately, it's straightforward to change your keyboard too.

Emoji support has improved a lot on Facebook.
We have gone from stuttering support for a few emoji to full support in comments, posts and even a type of emoji in Facebook Reactions. Here is how to use emojis in Facebook.
It seems the days of the humble word are numbered as in a few years we will all be communicating with little cartoon faces. At least that’s what it feels like if you use chat apps or social media. But when those little faces sum up an entire sentence in one small image, it’s no wonder the time and character limited love them. That makes them perfect for social media where you are limited in characters or have a lot of commenting to do.
For a while, you could only use emojis on the Facebook app but support gradually expanded to the browser too. Now you can use them however you use Facebook and there are literally hundreds to choose from. You can add them in updates, posts and comments.
Using emojis in Facebook is exactly the same as any other app that supports them. The hard part is finding the right one!
You will see the main expressive emojis as soon as you select the face icon. You should also see other activity selections for animals, food, sports, geography, technology, signs and flags. Just select one of those to find the appropriate image. Technically, only those first expressive faces are emoji but the lines between graphics is blurred enough that nobody really cares as long as the meaning is accurately conveyed.
The process is much the same in Facebook Messenger as it is on the main site. You have a small face icon in the lower part of the chat window. Add your emoji or graphic by selecting the icon, finding the appropriate emoji and clicking it. The emoji will appear in the chat box and you’re all good.
You can use keyboard shortcuts too if you prefer.
– very happy
Facebook Reactions were introduced in early 2016 to allow us to respond to someone’s post or update in an emotive way. There are only seven emoji to choose from. You can thumbs up, heart it, care or laugh, cry, act surprised or angry.
To use Facebook Reactions, hover the cursor over the Like icon underneath a post and you should see a popup panel appear with Like, heart, care, happy, surprised, cry and angry icons. Select one to use it in your response.
If you’re using a phone or tablet, tap and hold the Like button to select the other options. Then tap the appropriate icon to select it.
Facebook Reactions add a little more expression to responses and probably have more utility if you’re not going to write a response.
Facebook has also climbed aboard the sticker train and introduced a range of stickers that you can add to your updates and comments.
These are available in Facebook Messenger and chat and include a selection of expressions divided into categories such as Happy, Sad, Celebrating, Working, Angry, In Love, Eating, Active, Sleepy, and Confused.
Stickers are different from emoji but can convey similar emotions and feelings. The stickers icon is in the bottom of the chat window by emoji and GIF. Select the icon, select a category and then the sticker selection will load. Select a sticker and it will appear within the chat box. Hit Send or Enter to communicate it.
When selecting emoji in Facebook, you also have selections for animals, food, sports, geography, technology, signs and flags. While they are graphics, they aren’t emoji. Emoji are graphical expressions of emotions. The rest in that group are activities. They do communicate a lot in a single graphic, it’s more about what you’re doing or what’s going on than how you’re feeling. No less important but not emoji.
It’s easy to use emojis in Facebook and there are enough there to express just about every human emotion you can think of and some you can’t.
What do you think of emoji? Love them? Loathe them?

In this article, I want to talk about emoticons for Facebook. Those who like to show their emotions on social networks cannot do without them. If you still don’t know how to send emoticons, what they are, and where advanced users get them, then I will now secretly share “precious” information with you. nine0004
I don't think a handful of Facebook users have ever sent the usual default emoji. But just in case, if suddenly you are one of them, I will tell you about these amazing emoji.
Standard emoticons are entered using symbols that turn into emoticons after sending messages. In order not to bother memorizing them, I propose to make a cheat sheet.
And just copy characters from the saved file if necessary and paste them into text, chat or comments. nine0004
By the way, after updating Facebook, you can insert some emoticons without entering characters. To do this, simply select from those presented in the chat and click on it. Fans of colorful beautiful stickers (stickers) can now choose them in the chat and insert them into text, comments, etc. with one click.
In addition to standard emoticons, Facebook has developed emoticons. These are such arrows, asterisks and similar bizarre pictures. To insert this symbol into a post, scroll through the emoji box, select the desired icon and click on it. nine0004
Many people who are still unidentified in the intricacies of the emoticon are wondering what is the difference between emoticons and emoji and stickers. Some even believe that they are all one and the same.
So I want to dispel this myth.
These are all different concepts. A smiley is an expression of emotion using standard symbols. Emoji is a code, a standard character from Unicode, available on all platforms. Emoji are transmitted using this invisible code. A sticker is a picture that is transmitted as a link or file. nine0004
And about stickers in Telegram, read the article on the website.
Facebook also offers a set of original giant smilies.
To spruce up your message with these burly men, you need to find a small emoticon under the text input line. Clicking on it will open a window with giant emoticons. It remains only to choose the appropriate one and click on it.
For those who are especially creative, I would like to tell you about beautiful animated emoticons. To use them, you need to download the Funmoods add-on to your browser. You can download it for free from the official Funmoods website. nine0004
Important! There is one “But”, you can please your friends with such an unusual emoticon only if they also have this add-on loaded.

Many have heard that there seem to be some secret emoticons for Facebook. But few people know whether this is true or not, and where to look for them. I want to confess to you that this "miracle" exists, and it is quite easy to find it. Special sites have been developed from which they can be downloaded.
But you can only upload one emoticon at a time. Therefore, for "lazy" users, I recommend another way. So, in order to be able to send secret emoticons, you need to do the following:
And that's it, you become happy owners of secret emoticons. As you can see, using emoticons is not at all difficult. You just need to know where to get them and how to enter them. All for now. Emotional communication to you. And to decorate your communication even more, see how to add photos, videos and music to Facebook using the link.

Facebook makes it easy to add emoticons to your comments. In addition to the spare emojis that are available to you when you post your status, the comment field gives you access to stickers on a wide range of topics that work just like emojis.
Emoticons, emoticons, emoji, and stickers are terms that most people use interchangeably to refer to tiny graphics that are ubiquitous on the Internet. These tiny faces or stickers indicate your emotional state or activity and are an easy way to quickly describe how you feel in a comment.
nine0004
While it was once only allowed in Facebook chat and Messages, the use of emojis on Facebook extended to status messages, comments, and other places. Even the familiar Like button offers a limited set of alternate emojis.
Adding emoticons to a Facebook comment is as easy as viewing a list of emoticons.
Here's how to do it from a computer:
Facebook stickers are a little different than emoticons because they are sent instantly, so you can't add text along with the sticker.
This is true no matter where you access the sticker, whether it's on the Facebook website, a mobile app, or a mobile-optimized website.
You can send stickers as Facebook comments from the desktop website by accessing the sticker button on the right side of the comments window. Choose which sticker you want to send and it will be entered into your comment immediately. nine0004
If you're using the Facebook mobile site or mobile app, follow these steps to use emoji and stickers in your comments:
Note : Most phones and tablets include emoji as part of the keyboard, so if you have this option you can insert emoji without using the Facebook menu. However, it is possible that some of the emoji on your phone will not display correctly on the Facebook website.
If you don't find the emoji you want in the stock categories, click or tap the plus or cart icon in the sticker pop-up to open the sticker store. nine0004
There you will find hundreds of categories of stickers on topics as varied as Mood Snoopy, Manchester United, Hacker Boy (or Girl), Ghost Ghosts, Despicable Me 2, Candy, Cute Pets, Pride, Summer, and Hair Bandits,
Click preview , or for mobile users, click the category name to see the stickers in each package. When you find a package you like, press Free or tap the down arrow. This places the sticker icon in the sticker menu for easy access when you add Facebook stickers to comments.
If you want to use any of the emoticons in the pack, select them directly from the comment sticker window. If you decide later you don't want the pack to be so affordable, click the plus icon or trash can icon to return to the sticker store where you can remove the stickers with Remove or by pressing x .
