How to send a WhatsApp message without saving a phone number

Introduction
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps and it is known for its user-friendly interface. However, there are certain challenges that come with it, such as the lack of an official way to send messages to unsaved numbers.

However, you can send WhatsApp messages without saving a contact using a trick. By using the “Click to Chat” tool you can send a message to a contact, without even adding it to your contact list. It is particularly useful if you do not want to reveal your identity to the recipient given your privacy settings are set to My Contacts.

There are many third-party apps available that can enable users to send messages without adding them to their phonebook. But as these apps pose many security risks to your device, and can also threaten your privacy, it is, therefore, not recommended to download such apps.

How to send a message via WhatsApp without saving the recipient's number in contacts (Updated: two more ways)

X

Use Google search when it was necessary to write in WhatsApp to a person whose number we would not like to store in the contact list on our phone. You can, of course, add it to your contacts, and delete it after sending the message, but there is an easier and more reliable way to do this.

For this you will need:

  • Whatsapp app installed on your smartphone or tablet;
  • Any web browser.

To send a message to a subscriber whose phone number is not in your contacts list, you need to do the following:

Open any web browser on your smartphone and enter the following address in the web address or search field:

https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=хххххххххх

where ххххххххххх is the phone number of the recipient of your message in international format with the country and operator code, but without the + in front of it. For example: 19123123123 for the USA, 7

312312 for Russia, 380982312312 for Ukraine, etc. In this case, you will be redirected to a page where you will be prompted to send a message via WhatsApp to the number you specified:

All you have to do is confirm your consent to send a message to the number you need, and then dial it in the opened WhatsApp application text and send in the same way as you do when sending messages in chats with recipients from your Contacts.

The sender's number will not be saved in Contacts.

Essentially, this application does the same as described above, but offers a more user-friendly interface. All you have to do is enter the phone number you would like to send a message to and click on the "Open WhatsApp" button

Download Click to Chat [Small, No ADS] from this page Google Play Market

How to send a WhatsApp message without contact: from a phone, computer

Popular application WhatsApp makes communication easy. However, there are also some inconveniences. In particular, this is the need to be sure to enter the subscriber in your address book in order to write to him. But this approach is not always justified, because it can be a one-time correspondence, and you do not plan to maintain further communication. Let's try to find a way to send a message to WhatsApp without contact, and what can be done in this case with the least loss for security.

How to send a WhatsApp message without a contact from a browser

Dialogues with users in the messenger usually begin with the fact that the subscriber's number must be entered in the phone book of the smartphone. But what to do if you plan to write only 1-2 messages , and in the future not to conduct a dialogue. To send a text, and not add the user to contacts, use this method:

  1. Open a browser on your smartphone.
  2. In the search bar, enter the address of the following format: https://wa.me/ number of the interlocutor in the international format (with "+7") .
  3. Press "Enter" on your smartphone.
  4. As soon as you follow this link, the service will offer to write a message.
  5. You will see a WhatsApp window, where you should click on the button "Message / Send a message" .
  6. The service will automatically redirect you to the WhatsApp application and a window to start a chat with the specified user.

The same functionality is also available on a PC or laptop. Here, sending a message in this way will be even easier, and the algorithm is exactly the same.

Please note! In the application itself, installed on a smartphone, you cannot write without adding it to contacts, but you can use the browser to go to the dialogue.

An alternative way to send messages to WhatsApp without contact

There is another option for correspondence with a subscriber who is not listed in your phone book. Use specialized applications. There are a lot of such software, for example Easy Message , Click to chat and others. First, find them in the app store, download and install on your smartphone. Then you need to run the downloaded utility. Click on the button "Open WhatsApp" , a dialog box will open and you can write to anyone without adding them to your contact list.

There is another way. True, it will work only on two types of smartphones with Android OS . These are 9 Pie and Android Q . When using it, it is assumed that the number of the desired subscriber is already in the global network. That is, it should be in the public domain, in particular, available in an electronic signature in the mail.

  1. Open an email conversation with this person.
  2. Click on his phone number, which will have an active link. .the context menu will be activated.
  3. Create a WhatsApp link for the number and go to chat with the user.

Even though this may sound confusing to you, it really isn't. Having gone through one of the proposed options at least once, you will be able to quickly start conversations with any subscriber in the future, and not add him to your contact list for this.
