How to use two accounts on facebook
How to Use Multiple Facebook Accounts on iPhone, Android
Accessing multiple Facebook accounts on the computer is very easy — you just have to open a new browser or a private window to sign in to another Facebook account simultaneously. However, when it comes to the Androids and iPhones, the story changes. The 11” physical keyboard makes it easy to enter the user credentials, but for phones, we needed an easier way that would not want us to type the login information every time we want to access an additional Facebook account.
So, let’s see how we can solve the issue at hand. There’s no trick using which one can configure more than one Facebook account in the official Facebook app, but there are two third-party apps, one each for Android and iPhone, using which you can configure multiple Facebook accounts and easily switch between them without signing out from one.
Why Not Watch the Video?
Here’s a cool video that talks about the new apps for both, Android and iOS using which one can use dual Facebook accounts on Android and iOS.

/>Friendcaster is the one we will be using for Android, while Friendly will help the iPhone users.
Friendcaster for Android
Update: The app is not available on the Play Store any more, but you can always download it from a mirror and side load the APK file on your droid. If you are not sure what APK files are and how to install them, check out this simple guide on how to manually install APK on Androids.
Friendcaster for Android (UPDATE: This tool is not available anymore) is a Facebook app replacement which provides better user interface and features along with push notifications. The first Facebook account that you link to the app becomes your primary account. To add additional accounts, open the app preferences and tap on Accounts. Here you will be given the option to Add another account.
The app will ask for the Facebook username and password of the second account you would like to configure. After successful authentication, the app will ask you to grant all the permissions just like you did for the primary account.
You can then switch between the accounts easily from the app preferences and if you have a third or even fourth Facebook account you wish to add, Friendcaster provides that option as well. Apart from letting one configure multiple accounts, Friendcaster provides many additional features you might want to explore.
The app has a different presentation style and you might even like it better than the official app.
So that was how Friendcaster can be used to operate multiple Facebook accounts on Android.
Let’s now have a look at iOS.
Friendly for iPhone
iOS users who would like to configure more than one Facebook account for simultaneous use will find Friendly a very useful app. We have already shared its review in the past. And in the same post, we have shown you how it can be used to add multiple accounts. The app is easy to use and provides seamless access from all the accounts configured in it.
I had chanced upon this app during my quest to find apps that support such configuration. And once I started using this one, I couldn’t go back to the official app and ended up purchasing the pro version.
I found Friendly to be more user-friendly than the official app.
Conclusion
So, that was how to log in to more than just a single Facebook profile on Android and iPhone while having the comfort of an app and not using the mobile browser (and getting frustrated by it eventually).
The apps can also be used as an alternative to the official apps for Facebook for both the platforms. Got better apps in mind? Let us know.

How to Quickly Switch Between Facebook Accounts
By James Hirtz
Updated
Have multiple Facebook accounts? It's actually quite easy to switch between Facebook profiles without switching browsers.
Whether you have multiple Facebook accounts or share a computer with friends and family, you'll need to know how to switch Facebook accounts. Thankfully, the social network makes it easy to quickly switch between profiles using the same browser.
In this article, we'll walk you through quickly switching between your Facebook accounts so you can save time.
How to Switch Between Facebook Accounts (New Facebook)
- While logged into Facebook, click on the Account button next to Notifications.
- Select See all profiles, then select Switch accounts.
- Click on one of your previously logged-into accounts or select Log into another account.
- If logging into another account, enter your username and password and click Log in. If you previously checked Remember password, you won't receive a prompt to enter your password when switching accounts. If you haven't checked Remember password, you'll receive a prompt to enter the password for your account.
- Now, when you click on the Switch Accounts button, you should see both accounts. On New Facebook, you'll know which account you're currently logged into via a blue dot indicator under Profiles.
- If you decide you'd like to remove an account from your computer, go to Switch Accounts, then click the X to the right of the account name.
If you don't like Facebook's new look, it doesn't need to be one of your reasons to quit Facebook for good. Instead, you can restore the classic style while taking advantage of the quick account switching.
How to Switch Between Facebook Accounts (Classic Facebook)
While classic Facebook is no longer officially available, extensions have attempted to recreate the experience. Unfortunately, these either no longer work or provide limited functionality based on your account.
If you're using an extension like Old Layout for Facebook for Firefox or Chrome that runs a script to restore the classic aesthetic, you'll still follow the same steps as the current version of Facebook:
- While logged into Facebook, click on the Account button next to Notifications.
- Select See all profiles, then select Switch accounts.
- Click on one of your previously logged-into accounts or select Log into another account.
- If logging into another account, enter your username and password and click Log in. If you previously checked Remember password, you won't receive a prompt to enter your password when switching accounts. If you haven't checked Remember password, you'll receive a prompt to enter the password for your account.
- Now when you click on the Switch Accounts button, you should see both accounts. On New Facebook, you'll know which account you're currently logged into via a blue dot indicator under Profiles.
- If you decide you'd like to remove an account from your computer, go to Switch Accounts then click the X to the right of the account name.
If you find yourself dissatisfied with the limited emulation of classic Facebook, there are still some things that can be done to make new Facebook better. It's becoming easier to customize your Facebook feed, for instance, so more time can be spent on the right account looking at the content you want.
How to Stay Secure When Switching Facebook Accounts
Because you have the option to always enter your password when switching profiles, this feature is useful for family members who share a computer. Facebook also allows you to add up to 10 accounts using the Account Switcher feature.
It will also come in handy if you have a separate Facebook login for work. That way, you can keep all things work and personal completely separated.
While this password setting does help protect your separate accounts, it's good to be prepared. You should make sure you know the best ways to secure your Facebook account for recovery.
You Can Now Switch Facebook Accounts Quickly
Once you've added multiple accounts, swapping between accounts on Facebook is quick and easy. It may just be a simple feature, but it's one that can make your life a lot easier. Plus, whether you're using Facebook's new design or still feel attached to its classic look, you can manage your accounts without issue.
Having read this guide, you should now have all the tools you need to switch between Facebook accounts with minimal effort—regardless of whether you use the classic or newer versions.

How to use two Facebook, Viber, Telegram profiles on Android and iOS

Two social media accounts in one phone!
- Android apps duplicate
- Second space for Xiaomi
- Second Instagram account
- Second Telegram account
- Facebook accounts
- Multiple Viber accounts
We all have or will have multiple profiles in social networks. The answer to the question "why" is individual. Someone separates personal and work information, someone needs it for other purposes - perhaps you are Batman and lead a double life.
It's not always convenient to use two profiles. Sometimes this requires downloading additional unofficial applications, and sometimes it's just inconvenient to log out of the main account every time to go to the second one. The solution is much simpler than it seems at first glance.
Duplicate applications for Android
Android has provided the function of duplicate applications on most smartphones. It creates a similar application with zero settings. The name of the function on different smartphones may be called differently.
The function is located in one of the sections: “Accessibility”, “Additional functions”, “Applications”. It may be called “Dual Application Profile” or “Software Clones”, depending on the smartphone brand. Select an app to clone and wait for the download.
The application clone will appear on the smartphone screen. The icon will look like the original with a small addition - a clone icon in the corner. So you can easily distinguish the clone from the original application.
Second space for Xiaomi
Xiaomi owners will need a function - “Second space”. It allows you to create a parallel version of the operating system on your phone. The second space works identically to the first. Initially, it is completely empty and you can reinstall the necessary applications and log in to them. With one click, you can move between the two spaces and even set a password.
Installing the second space is easy enough. Go to "Settings", then to "Accessibility" and "Second Space". Start the installation and wait for the space to form.
The Go icon will appear on the screen. Use it to change the space.
iOS didn't provide app clone or second space creation, so workarounds have to be found. There is no free third-party clone app, but some apps have taken care of managing multiple accounts on their own. You can use the same functions for Android.
Second Instagram account
The application allows you to use several instagram accounts at the same time and switch between them without having to constantly log in and out and enter passwords. You just need to go to the main page, click on the login above and add an account. After that, you can easily switch accounts on instagram at any time.
Second Telegram account
The application allows you to have more than one Telegram account. Thanks to this, it becomes easier to separate work and personal life in the messenger. Go to settings, click on your profile and on the line "Add account". You will receive a code in Telegram to the number through which you authorize. The code can also be sent via SMS. After that, you can easily switch telegram accounts in the side menu. Also in the telegram, you can turn off notifications on individual chats, which makes it possible not to be distracted by unnecessary messages or notifications from telegram channels. Long press on an account when navigating to open a window with recent chats. So you can “peep” whether something important has arrived or not. Account management is carried out in the settings in the “devices” section. Here you can view active sessions and end your account on other devices.
Facebook accounts
Facebook added the ability to switch between accounts. To do this, log out of the main account and log in to the second one. The login data for both accounts will be saved and you can switch between them by clicking the “Logout” button.
Several accounts in Viber
The official messenger did not provide for the use of more than one account. On android, the problem is solved quite simply using the functions of cloning applications or the second space, which we described above. iPhone owners will not be able to install a second Viber without the help of a MacBook or paid apps in the App Store.

Two Facebook accounts: how to create a second profile

How to create a second Facebook account?
There are many reasons why a person might need a second profile on a social network - the work profile is full of spam in personal messages, bored with the updates of "colleagues", or you want to start life from scratch. For such situations, second profiles are usually created. Now we will tell you how to create a second Facebook account.
How to create an additional Facebook account
According to the rules that are regulated by Facebook itself, it is not allowed to create a second account using the same phone number or email address. This restriction is aimed at protecting the social network from various "garbage": empty pages, bots and advertising accounts. If the social network notices such profiles, then all pages are immediately blocked. Such accounts are recognized by a special algorithm, and blocking is impossible to predict. To prevent this, you must use a different phone number or a separate email. In addition, you need to follow a few rules when registering, namely:
- Be at least thirteen years of age.
- Have a phone number that is registered to the owner of the future page.
- Have a valid email.
- Do not share data and passwords with others.
- Do not use your account to buy likes, comments, etc.
- Enter correct information during registration.
If you fail to comply with these requirements, Facebook may temporarily freeze the page. And in some cases, blocking without further possibility of recovery, the method is decided by the social network itself. Now let's look at ways to create profiles on various devices. The processes are very similar and do not differ at all.
Tip: We strongly recommend that you use real data, including first name, last name, gender, and date of birth. After registering, add an up-to-date photo that clearly shows your face. These are optional conditions, but in this case, in case of a sudden blocking, it will be easier to restore access to the page.
Computer
IMPORTANT! Contact details (mobile phone number or email) must be used "clean", that is, those that have not previously been registered on Facebook. Even if you enter the phone number of a blocked account, the system will not allow you to create an account, and in this case, repeated blocking from the social network cannot be avoided.
In order to create a page on your computer, you need to go to web.facebook.com
Step 1. Go to web.facebook.com and click "Create a new account".
Step 2. Specify the first name, last name, email, date of birth, gender and click the "Register" button.
Step 3. A confirmation code should be sent to the specified email address. Check it in the box, enter it in a special field and click "Continue". The code must have the following clear structure: FB-XXXXX.
Step 4. If everything went well, you will be taken to the main page. Registration is over.
On the phone
For the convenience of registration, you will need a mobile application, you can download it in a special application store on your device.
Step 1. Open the Facebook application.
Step 2. You will see your main profile icon and two buttons, click "Register on Facebook". If such a window does not pop up, go to the "Menu" tab, then "Log out of your account".
Step 3. Enter personal information and click "Next".
Step 4. Enter the rest of the data and indicate the phone number or email (here is one of the two, at the discretion of the user). We strongly recommend that you enter a mobile phone number, since in the understanding of the algorithm such accounts are more verified, the chance of being blocked becomes less.
Step 5. Click "Register". Please read the Terms and Conditions of Use just in case.
Step 6. Account creation in progress. Wait about ten seconds.
Step 7. Enter the code that was sent to the specified mail or specified phone number. Click Submit.
Step 8. If everything went well, you will be taken to the main page. That's it, your second profile has been created.
The process will not report at all if the page is registered in the mobile version through the browser. The analogy is exactly the same.
How to switch between Facebook accounts
So you now have two accounts. And now more about how to switch between them. You can do this on both mobile and desktop versions of the site.
In the mobile version, this requires:
Step 1. Press "Menu" in the panel below, and then "Exit".
Step 2. Next, a menu with available accounts will appear. Choose the one you need.
How to switch in PC version:
Step 1. In the upper right corner of the site you will see an arrow in a circle, click on it, then "Exit".
Step 2. Select the desired account.
Done, now you know how to create a second Facebook page and how to switch between it and the main account. Be careful: if you use accounts through one IP and conduct “suspicious activity” in the form of mass following or mass liking, then Facebook will be forced to temporarily block both accounts at once. In the worst case - without the possibility of recovery. Follow the rules for using the social network and contact support for any questions.
